We got married at Swancar and it was the best decision we made. We viewed many venues but non were as spectacular as Swancar farm. We were lucky enough to have Rebecca as our wedding coordinator, from start to finish she was incredible. Her ability to coordinate, organise and arrange for our vision to come to life was amazing. Throughout our planning meetings Rebecca listened attentively, I felt reassured that the our special day was in good hands, nothing was ever too much of a problem. She really did take the stress away. The venue itself is stunning, from the stables, bridal suite, oak hall and breakfast area, we can’t fault a thing. All staff on the day were so friendly, lovely and attentive. The food was delicious, receiving many compliments from our guests. It truly was a spectacular day and we are so very grateful for Rebecca and the whole team on making this so very special. Thank you, Holly & Ryan x

Came here for a family wedding (surprise!) What a venue. Walked through the main doors into an open courtyard and then several reception rooms off the courtyard. Think it's 16th century from what I was told. Wooden beams everywhere and looks stunning. Everyone of the staff were 5 star from servers to bar staff..... Very polite and very helpful. We didn't stay overnight but saw a couple of the rooms which looked impeccable. Well thought out wedding venue and a great night to boot. Thank you all 👍💥👍

Had the most fantastic experience here last week for my daughters wedding. Everything from start to finish was unbelievable. From the setting of the wedding to the photos, food was amazing. Excellent all round from the staff in particular Tammy who have everything pinned down to the second.

We had our wedding day 24.8.23 and Laura & jak decorated our venue with the diamond package. It looked stunning! We can’t thank them enough for making it look amazing! They were great throughout the process and made it easy to sort everything out! Thank you all so much!!

So glad we had the mirror photobooth at our wedding - it was a hit with everyone!! Jak & Laura were fantastic to book and work with from start to finish. They were one of the first suppliers we booked after booking our venue because after meeting Jak at a wedding fair and having a go on the Photo Booth we just knew that was the right one for us and our wedding. Tonnes of props to use, each guest gets a copy printed or emailed to them as well as an extra to stick on the bride and grooms guestbook. All of our friends and family had so much fun using it all night, our guest book is full of their nice (and hilarious) photos, with messages for us. We love looking back through it. 100% recommend without a doubt! :)

Jak and Laura were so wonderful from start to finish. We used a few of their services on our wedding day, including the DJ service, a sweet cart, LOVE letters, Victorian postbox and retro photobooth. I couldn't have been happier with everything. The communication was so helpful and professional, despite my many questions! The photobooth was set up so beautifully and exactly to my chosen specs (they have a great selection of choices), it was incredibly popular and the addition of the guestbook, sharpies and props were perfect. The DJ set up was absolutely beautiful (we chose rustic) and Jak was so accommodating and amazing at DJ-ing our wedding all night, I am so so pleased that everyone had the best time ever on the dancefloor and it's all thanks to this wonderful company. The postbox, sweet cart and LOVE letters were beautiful, and every little detail is thought of. You truly won't regret using any of their services and thank you both so much for helping us make our day and night so memorable.

Review From the moment we got the call to say we had won round one of the wedding competition to the moment we woke up as husband and wife, Maria and Bespoke have been incredible. There is so much press on how stressful planning a wedding is but for us it has been the opposite, in fact it was rather a magical experience and we only had just over 4 months to get it all done! Maria was there on the day and made sure we had everything we needed and throughout the day she made sure we were happy, she was amazing and it was a blessing to have her as part of our day. I was absolutely floored when I got the call that we had won the first part of the contest! Honestly, it's made having a wedding much more feasible for myself and my partner. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Thank you Jess and team for helping to make our day so perfect, we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you!

Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.

Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee. My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. We used White Petal for our wedding near Christmas 2024. They were a great lot to deal with and we always had quick responses to any questions or ideas we had. They dressed the ceremony room which included the chair covers, bows, candles, petals etc as well the evening venue room with all the table decorations, candles, wreaths and Christmas bits dotted around. We also hired the giant love letters for the dance floor.

We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial. The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough. The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. We were so impressed with the quality and wish we could eat there each week. If you want a beautiful wedding, outstanding staff, and fantastic food, book your wedding at Haarlem Mill.

After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

As soon as we walked in to Haarlem Mill we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The aesthetic is just absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredible. Shannon made planning our wedding super easy and orderly. We used Haarlem for our reception, the staff were excellent meeting us at the door with drinks and canapés. The food was to die for, absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are all locally sourced which is such a nice touch and something we really appreciated. As soon as we walked in we knew that Haarlem was the perfect Venue for us. The building itself is beautiful and the layout works so well for a wedding held in one place. The bridal suite provides a perfect place for getting ready but also for a quiet place to gather yourself on the day. The food was incredible, the best food I have ever had at a wedding, and was so inclusive of everyone’s needs. Shannon was absolutely incredible from the start, always there to answer any questions and to make the process as smooth as possible . I can honestly say that I have had no stress from the day we booked the wedding up until the day itself. We got married in December 2024 and our day was so beyond magical. It exceeded anything either of us could have ever hoped for and we will forever grateful to the team at Haarlem for helping us achieve the day of our dreams.
