Cracking converted Mill House gives up some lovely photo opportunities, especially in the evening with the late sunshine. Perfect place to start a walk across the toll bridge into Darley Park.

Experienced two different booths by Imprint Events at a recent Awards event. Absolutely amazing to get a real photo to capture the moment of us all in a black tie attire. The second booth was more of a plinth where this amazing camera rolls around you and captures a short video of you dancing. The short video is then shared with you to take away the memorable moment of the evening with you. Great experience for award evenings. Also, Paul and Matthew from Imprint Events are fantastic guys!

I used Imprint Events for a Corporate Event. Paul was great at helping me decide which photo booth I'd like and which package would work best for us. It was quick and easy to put everything into action. I had a last minute date change and Paul was quickly able to reschedule for me - thank you! We booked Paul for a client event of ours and he has been amazing! from initial enquiry, to booking confirmation he has been on hand to assist with any queries, changes or amendments we have. On the day was perfect, he was setup quite quickly and effectively. the guests loved the photobooth and the queue kept running until we closed the event! Would 100% recommend his services to a future client again!

From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. She's detail oriented, passionate, and amazing to work with. No task is too big or small for Victoria, and the entire wedding ran so smoothly thanks to her help! Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. The Hidden Hive will forever be a special place for us and the help from all involved at the venue really allowed us to make it our day. No request was too much and solutions were always given if there was anything that couldn't be done. The venue itself is beautiful even on an overcast spring day. Having the ceremony and reception all at one site really allowed for the place to become apart of the day. The venue allowed us to bring a number of personal touches to the day, on top of the 5 cars full of decorations we did ourselves, we had multiple classic cars displayed, a tandem bicycle, doves, and alpacas! The venue assisted with the band we had on our day and the caterers and bar team were all top notch. Everyone working felt a part of the day which gave a great atmosphere to which we couldn't have had without!

We had the most perfect day at the hidden hive celebrating our wedding. From start to finish all the details and put questions were sorted. The team were incredible and the recommended suppliers really made our day. All our guests were wowed by the venue, it's setting and the food and drink and we are still getting messages from guests saying it was the best wedding they've been to! The ceremony room is stunning and the tipis for your reception are just beautiful and in the middle of the most gorgeous grounds!! It’s a gem of a wedding venue !!

I recently photographed a wedding at this venue and highly recommend it. Tucked away in the countryside with a picturesque lake onsite, it boasts a beautiful ceremony room where the sides can be removed during summer and fantastic teepees for the reception.

Deb is absolutely amazing! She was so helpful during the entire process of us choosing our decor and has an incredible range to choose from and was always so welcoming. Deb couldn’t do enough for us during the lead up to our wedding to allow it to be as stress free as possible. We were absolutely blown away with how beautiful our venue looked and had so many compliments. What an incredible venue for our wedding last weekend. Deb was absolutely fantastic from our first meeting to decide how we wanted the ceremony and reception rooms dressing and it was absolutely stunning! I was recommended Bee Sweet Occasions by my florist for our wedding. I am so glad we found Deb, she was absolutely amazing from first contact. She was so friendly and made us feel at ease, you feel like you’ve know her for years. It can be such a daunting thing selecting things to dress your wedding but Deb really does bring your ideas to life! She suggested meeting to view all that she had to hire to make our venue look how we wanted it to. Unlike other suppliers that force you into minimum hire charges and hiring things that you don’t really want, Bee Sweet Occasions let you select exactly what items you want to hire to dress your venue, which is just perfect. Everything is tailored to what you want for your day, which is exactly how it should be. Deb is also really honest and will say if she thinks something wouldn’t look right or wouldn’t go, which if you’re anything like us, we find it hard making decisions :) they don’t over charge either. We found when getting quotes for anything wedding related that prices just shot up, but with Bee Sweet they kept their prices so fair and reasonable. We ended up changing our original venue as we initially had a large wedding planned and decided we wanted to keep it intimate. Deb was not fazed by the changes and supported us through everything. As the bride I wasn’t there for set up on the day but we (the bride and groom) went for a first look of the room before we met our guests for arrival drinks and wow, we were completely blown away by how the room looked. When I say Deb nailed it, I mean she nailed it!! The room was more than we ever imagined it would be and we will be forever grateful to Deb! Deb not only works amazing on her own, she also works so well with everyone working to make your day so special. We had our wedding breakfast and reception at The Dragon in Willington and our Florist was Emily Jane Florist in Willington. Deb was the one who got in contact with them and organised timings for set up etc. If we could give 100 stars we would as you made our day the best it could have ever been. We will ALWAYS recommend you to anyone we know or speak to that needs an event dressing.

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet Deb face to face but it was so easy to contact her and her replies were very quick! What she did to our venue was incredible! We chose a rustic venue and her decor made it all come to life even more! We can’t thank her enough for bringing our vision to life. We got married here in March 2023 and had the most amazing day. The venue is stunning - private, very safe (for children), beautifully set up. All members of staff were absolutely great and bent over backwards to make everything as easy as possible, in both the build-up to the day and on the actual wedding day. Everything went as planned, the venue looked exactly how we wanted it to and all our guests continuously commented on how beautiful the venue was. Vicki was our wedding coordinator and she is amazing at what she does. Nothing was too much and we will really miss messaging her! Communication throughout the build-up was fantastic, emails and WhatsApp messages were responded to incredibly quickly, getting an appointment to visit for measuring up, or practising walking down the aisle was super easy to book. Everything was dealt with so efficiently and they really do go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Hanbury team, we are so grateful to you, for allowing us to have the most magical day of our lives take place at the Barns - we wish we could do it all over again!!! Thank you! x

We got married here in August and had a fantastic day. The venue is great - private, rustic and beautifully set up. All the staff were great and they made everything easy. We loved the ceremony room in particular, it was exactly what we were looking for. We were lucky to have had a beautiful sunny day, but this venue would have been amazing whatever the weather so we wasn't too worried about the chance of rain. The venue are absolutely top class at communication, which is one of the main things you want when planning your wedding. We absolutely loved our wedding at Hanbury, and we both honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Hanbury were in constant contact and no question was too small. The venue having 3 seperate rooms for each part of the day was a massive selling point for us. We got married here on 16th May 2024 and Hanbury Barns was the most perfect venue for us! It has everything we could have asked for and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator and she was just perfect for us. Nothing was ever too much to ask for and she made us feel so at ease throughout the whole process. The venue is beautiful and immaculate and despite the torrential rain all day, it was just so perfect for us. It is a fully accessible venue with no steps which was ideal for some of our family members with mobility issues. The accommodation in the pods was beautiful and so clean and well kept too. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and everyone had such an amazing day. I will be recommending this venue to everyone and anyone! We found out about Sami Tipi after seeing a friend had used them for their wedding. When I got in contact with the team, from the very first email, everything has been amazing. Everything was dealt with so professionally and without hesitation. With only having 6 months to plan the wedding and after moving the venue at the beginning, everything has been a breeze for Beth and the team and they've all been amazing during every stage. Going to one of their open days just 2 months before our wedding was definitely worth it as it gave us a real insight into what our day would look like. Communication with Beth and then with Craig and the set up team was so easy and the team arrived and set up so quickly. Sami Tipi & team wow ! What can i say amazing from day one to “yes we do day”. Jodie, Craig & team made it all easy, Beth knows just what you need & a mind of full helpfulness. The open days are so amazing we attended quite a few to get ideas & booked lots of those special extras for our amazing day. The team turned up on time & got started straight away making it all look so easy & fabulous. They put the Tipi up to our liking, all so helpful & friendly. The Tipi once it was up was stunning, made me cry happy tears of excitement. Nothing was ever too much trouble when I called the team to make changes or add on extras. Firstly, what a team there is at Sami Tipi! You guys were absolutely incredible! This company cannot do enough to help you out in your preparations. We hired a 2 pole sailcloth tent for our home wedding in June and it was absolutely perfect. The service allowed us to create the perfect layout, hire various items and then you are free to decorate in the style you wish to complement your items. There was always someone to contact when you needed to make an alteration right up to the day you need it. Super efficient and it was a pleasure to meet you all! Big thanks goes to the team who erected the tent for your hard work and efforts, you guys are really doing an awesome job going back and forth to different locations and also a big thanks to Beth for being so warm and friendly and for continually being there for us through the process. We used Sami Tipi for our September 2024 wedding (with Cattows Farm as our venue). The whole team were amazing from the start, with Jodie explaining all the amazing perks of a Tipi wedding, Beth helping up plan every little detail and Craig ensuring everything was set up just as we'd imagined it. A special shout out to Beth as she had an amazing knack of knowing exactly what we were trying to explain, even before we'd managed to find the words! Some people might think that a Tipi wedding might be more stressful as there's more things to coordinate but this couldn't be further from the truth. From day one, we felt fully supported and any queries we had were answered so quickly. All options were openly explained and all we had to do was chose what, when and where. We had so many compliments from friends and family, saying how wonderful everything looked. Even our family members who'd asked why we weren't going for a 'normal' wedding in a church or hotel said they finally understood our vision on the day. For anyone considering a Sami Tipi wedding, we would highly recommend going to one of the showcases throughout the year. They really helped visualize how everything would come together. Also, we chose most of our other suppliers from meeting them at the showcases, it was great to have suppliers that had all worked together before so knew the drill. Overall, we couldn't highly recommend the Sami Tipi team enough for our perfect day!

Bespoke Weddings have really helped us out, our wedding would have never have happened so soon without them and the competition. From the initial meeting with Maria she has been very supportive with our situation and helpful with us going ahead with the wedding in 6 months time which is very encouraging. We've never felt any pressure to go ahead with the competition or other options given but it's nice they support local companies. I would recommend anyone to apply to the competitions as it could save you a huge amount and get you married sooner than you ever expected and change your life!

There is so much press on how stressful planning a wedding is but for us it has been the opposite, in fact it was rather a magical experience and we only had just over 4 months to get it all done! Maria was there on the day and made sure we had everything we needed and throughout the day she made sure we were happy, she was amazing and it was a blessing to have her as part of our day. I was absolutely floored when I got the call that we had won the first part of the contest! Honestly, it's made having a wedding much more feasible for myself and my partner. Even better than that has been Holly as our wedding planner - she's gone above and beyond to help us plan the day, and answer any questions we have (and we definitely have a lot!). We chose Deb and Steff at Just Tickety Boo to decorate our wedding venue for the big day. We had several meetings to discuss what we wanted and they are such lovely people who have a very good eye for what looks great. On the day they went above and beyond what was expected and the venue looked phenomenal. We cannot thank them enough for their help and would highly recommend them.

Wow, where do we even start with Just Ticketyboo? I can't recommend the team here enough, we truly have had the most magical experience with Steph and Jackie from start to finish! We had our very first meeting around 2 years before the big day - we were pretty clueless on how to plan a wedding but Steph was able to bring our visions to life perfectly and completely blew us away ❤️ She arranged our whole venue dressing, booked all of our suppliers (who were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!) and also did our full on the day management, which I'd 100% recommend. On our big day, Steph and Jackie turned up bright and early to start setting up, they took my smaller touches I.e favours, slippers, signs etc and took care of setting everything up perfectly. They made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, took care of all the suppliers and timings etc on the day. They helped me into my wedding dress!! plus so much more & On top of all this, they were the kindest, most caring people to have there on your wedding day! They treated my husband and I amazingly and we truly felt blessed having them there for our whole day... right til the last person left! Even at the end of the night when I (may have..!) had one too many, there they were, still up and chatting away to me just as positive and happy as they were at the very start of the day. Steph and Debs are just amazing. I’m so lucky I had them for my wedding, the venue I hired was rubbish and so were the staff but these lovely ladies turned it around and were able to cover all their mistakes on the day. My venue looked stunning after these ladies transformed it, nothing was too much trouble anything I asked if they did it and even better than I expected. The most lovely genuine ladies you will meet. They also decorated the church and stayed with me all day on the wedding from getting out the car at the church and fluffing my dress ready to walk down the isle to helping me on the coach in the evening. You won’t find better than Just Tickety Boo.
