Wow, where do we even start with Just Ticketyboo? I can't recommend the team here enough, we truly have had the most magical experience with Steph and Jackie from start to finish! We had our very first meeting around 2 years before the big day - we were pretty clueless on how to plan a wedding but Steph was able to bring our visions to life perfectly and completely blew us away ❤️ She arranged our whole venue dressing, booked all of our suppliers (who were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!) and also did our full on the day management, which I'd 100% recommend. On our big day, Steph and Jackie turned up bright and early to start setting up, they took my smaller touches I.e favours, slippers, signs etc and took care of setting everything up perfectly. They made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, took care of all the suppliers and timings etc on the day. They helped me into my wedding dress!! plus so much more & On top of all this, they were the kindest, most caring people to have there on your wedding day! They treated my husband and I amazingly and we truly felt blessed having them there for our whole day... right til the last person left! Even at the end of the night when I (may have..!) had one too many, there they were, still up and chatting away to me just as positive and happy as they were at the very start of the day. Steph and Debs are just amazing. I’m so lucky I had them for my wedding, the venue I hired was rubbish and so were the staff but these lovely ladies turned it around and were able to cover all their mistakes on the day. My venue looked stunning after these ladies transformed it, nothing was too much trouble anything I asked if they did it and even better than I expected. The most lovely genuine ladies you will meet. They also decorated the church and stayed with me all day on the wedding from getting out the car at the church and fluffing my dress ready to walk down the isle to helping me on the coach in the evening. You won’t find better than Just Tickety Boo.

What can I say? I've used a number of sound and lighting engineers, but none are as professional and cooperative than Collaborate. Nij and Rebecca are an awesome team - every time I've used them at high-end corporate events they've come up with the goods!

My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee. Samantha's communication was excellent before our wedding and was a dream to have her coordinate the day. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

David at Bliss was brilliant from start to finish. We had the all day package and photo booth for our wedding. I was a little dubious about a photo booth, but it was absolutely brilliant and all of our guests loved it. The equipment and props were top notch and it added an extra special something to the evening. David himself is a character. He’s funny, friendly, confident and very organised. We felt in complete safe hands with him and nothing was too much trouble. He was in regular contact in the run up to our wedding and we felt everything would run smoothly with his involvement. David also took a lot of photos and videos which was brilliant, as we got lots back from him before having to wait for the final professional shots. I 100% recommend David and the team at Bliss - thank you so much!

Bliss Wedding DJ has been great. David has kept in contact with us throughout the process of putting together playlists, etc. and Andy worked his magic on the night keeping the energy going!

David, Angela and Robert have been amazing from start to finish! A brilliant app to plan your wedding music and the team kept in contact throughout the whole planning process! Robert was our DJ for the night and although our wedding party wasn't huge, everyone had a great time and danced the night away! Great selection of music that catered for everyone. A huge bonus when Robert also sent over some beautiful photos and videos of the night which is so lovely as we were so busy enjoying ourselves we didn't take any of our own photos! Thanks guys, you were ace!!

Dave was absolutely perfect. From the moment we first made contact he guided us through the entertainment side of the wedding. He was an amazing addition to our already perfect day and his choice of songs at the right times was just as perfect. His enthusiasm is infectious. Definitely 100% recommend

We’ve just come back from our weekend wedding at Knockerdown Cottages and there aren’t enough words to say how perfect it was. Our wedding coordinator Justeen went above and beyond a million times over, during the two years leading up to the wedding and over the whole weekend itself. We can’t thank her and the team enough for helping us create such a fun and special weekend. Having most of our guests be able to stay on site was really important to us, as well as the option to choose all our own suppliers and decorate as we wanted to. Knockerdown provided all this in a beautiful location which made it an easy choice. All of our guests keep telling us how incredible the venue was, and how friendly and endlessly helpful the staff were. We're so impressed and so pleased we chose Knockerdown for our wedding. We can’t wait to come back for a visit!

The support from Justine and the team at Knockerdown wedding venue was first class in helping my daughter and new husband plan the perfect wedding day, and perfect it was. Nothing was too much trouble and were very supportive throughout without being in your face. The whole weekend was fantastic, and the cottages were spotlessly clean and furnished to the highest standard. Friends and family spent the whole weekend there and couldn't stop praising the whole event. Obviously, a lot was down the impeccable planning by the bride and groom (they had thought of EVERYTHING! down to the finest of details) and the massive support from Justine at the venue. If there had been an option to give this place a 10-star review, I would have done.

Fiona, you are an absolute gem. I had no worries on my wedding day at all. Not one bit. Everything, right down to the signs on the doors to the complimentary prosecco in our rooms was just amazing. Thank you all at Knockerdown for the best weekend ever, it feels like a dream that I want to live over and over again. If you're thinking about your wedding in Derbyshire, don't look anywhere else.

Short review - if you’re thinking of booking Knockerdown for your wedding- do it! You will not regret it. From start to finish the service and support from Fiona and the rest of the team is outstanding. The venue is beautiful, and we had the best weekend ever. Long review- where do we begin? We visited the venue and fell in love straight away, the opportunity to have all our friends and family stay on site in beautiful self catering accommodation was one we could not miss. The cottages are so nice, homely & have all that you need. The Brackendale room where you can be married and/or have your wedding breakfast and evening reception is stunning. There’s so many facilities on site to use, including a games room and swimming pool. The views are stunning and there’s the opportunity to get married outside. I got ready in the Bonsall cottage and if you don’t have a large bridal party, this is an excellent space to get ready and then turns into the most beautiful honeymoon suite. The venue is a 10 out of 10, not one fault. In terms of Fiona and the team, they are outstanding. Everyone we came into contact with made us feel so important and relaxed, so friendly and professional. Fiona was amazing, from the moment we booked she has supported us with every choice, we put our complete trust in her as she’s so good at what she does. At no point did I ever feel stressed as I know she had it all in hand. We made full use of the venue for the whole weekend and had soooo many suppliers, so we made Fiona work- and it was seamless. We had a pie van and band on the Friday. Saturday was our wedding day and we had fish and chips, ice cream, pizza, DJ, Photo Booth, audio guestbook, live singer. Sunday we had a Greek van and a magician. So as you can see, we took full advantage of using this beautiful venue. We are so grateful for everything that Fiona did for us in ensuring all the suppliers ran smoothly. We couldn’t get married outside, which is what I desperately wanted but the way Fiona was so chilled and so reassuring just made me so at ease and just go with the flow, and now I’m so glad I got married in the Brackendale room as it’s stunning! Many of our guests have said that it’s the best wedding that they have been to and because it’s a DIY venue, they said it was so unique and different to any other wedding they’ve experienced. Having a wedding weekend instead of a wedding day is the way forward, we enjoyed every single minute. Book it - you will not regret! If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Thank you Jess and team for helping to make our day so perfect, we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you!

Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess.
