Dominique was brilliant!!!! from meeting us at the venue a few months prior, to the morning of the wedding and even after, Dominique was great. She really listened to everything we wanted (and helped us along the way when we didn't have a clue :)) The ceremony room and the reception room looked absolutely stunning!! and at the end of the night she spoke with us asking how the day had gone whilst helping to clear everything away! We can’t thank you enough for how incredible you made our venue look on our wedding day. The whole place looked absolutely stunning and you brought our vision to life then exceeded it! From the bigger pieces including the flower arch to the finer details - everything looked perfect. We’ve received so many lovely compliments on the decor and just wanted to say thank you so, so much for your incredible work! Dominique is so approachable, professional and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about the service she is delivering. 10/10 would recommend as an events stylist.

We used White Petal for our wedding near Christmas 2024. They were a great lot to deal with and we always had quick responses to any questions or ideas we had. They dressed the ceremony room which included the chair covers, bows, candles, petals etc as well the evening venue room with all the table decorations, candles, wreaths and Christmas bits dotted around. We also hired the giant love letters for the dance floor.

We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

We hired Amanda for our Wedding in May 2024 as a wedding coordinator, and by far was probably the best decision we made during our planning. I honestly don’t know how our wedding would have taken place on the day without Amanda. Amanda set up all our props for our Wedding the day before / morning of, and then coordinated our day. Amanda really went above and beyond throughout the day, keeping the day on track and making sure it aligned to mine and my husband wishes. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she really brought our vision to life. We honestly cannot say thank you enough and would absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone getting married. Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. Having Amanda was one of the best decisions we made - we couldn’t recommend her more and are so grateful for everything she did and helped us with.

We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. Breathtakingly Beautiful… Emily & Fran did all of our styling & floristry. The flowers were truly out of this world beautiful. The colours were just beautiful. Emma and Rebecca were incredibly attentive to our needs throughout the wedding planning process and helped create our perfect vision. The decor looked stunning and the gorgeous grounds provided a beautiful scenery for our day. Our guests, (many of whom had never been to Calke Abbey before) were blown away with the venue. The ladies at Ivy House were superb. They took care of every detail and went out of their away to ensure everything was perfect for us. They went above and beyond making sure every detail was covered. With the beautiful location, extremely professional, thorough and helpful wedding planners and charming décor, it was simply a perfect day! We are so grateful to the Ivy House Ladies for making our Wedding Day everything we could have wished for.

Where do I start?! Emma and the team were absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Emma could make sense of my rather vague descriptions of how I wanted things, the vision seemed clear in my head but it proved difficult trying to explain it. She knew exactly what to do to bring it to life and nothing was too much trouble. On the day she never stopped - she’s the extra bridesmaid/ best friend doing everything she could to help us and keeping us calm, the on the day coordinator seamlessly organising the supplier arrivals, personal chauffeur when we needed to move our car and slightly crazy looking lady running through the gardens so Chris would have a natural smile for the photos!! The dedication was another level! With me being rather OCD I didn’t know if I would be able to step back and enjoy the day fully without worrying about things but from the day before when we took all our things to set up I completely relaxed knowing everything was under control. Emma’s family were the perfect team and they couldn’t do enough for us but at the same time they felt like friends as they are so lovely and chilled. The day went so perfectly and we cannot thank Emma enough for her huge part in this. The only disappointment is that we can’t do the day all over again!!

I have absolutely no idea how we would have coped without Rebecca and Emma from Ivy House Weddings when it came to planning our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better support to help create the most perfect day, and the attention to detail from the planning stages right through to the last dance on the day was amazing to ensure that everything ran smoothly - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Wow what a duo! Emma and Rebecca were incredible from start to finish! We couldn’t have wished for better co-ordinators! They made us feel super relaxed right from our initial chat and that anything was possible when making decisions on our big day! The day was absolutely faultless which was all credit to E&R! Review From the moment we got the call to say we had won round one of the wedding competition to the moment we woke up as husband and wife, Maria and Bespoke have been incredible. There is so much press on how stressful planning a wedding is but for us it has been the opposite, in fact it was rather a magical experience and we only had just over 4 months to get it all done! Maria was there on the day and made sure we had everything we needed and throughout the day she made sure we were happy, she was amazing and it was a blessing to have her as part of our day. Bespoke Weddings have really helped us out, our wedding would have never have happened so soon without them and the competition. From the initial meeting with Maria she has been very supportive with our situation and helpful with us going ahead with the wedding in 6 months time which is very encouraging. We've never felt any pressure to go ahead with the competition or other options given but it's nice they support local companies. I would recommend anyone to apply to the competitions as it could save you a huge amount and get you married sooner than you ever expected and change your life!

Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! I can’t recommend them enough not even just the photos but as people you really are lovely and so down to earth.. and this is exactly what you need and want in someone for your big day. We had so many guests complimenting the “photographers” saying how lovely they was and how much fun they was having. We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.
