Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee. Samantha's communication was excellent before our wedding and was a dream to have her coordinate the day. My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. Where do I even start with this incredible human?! Amanda is the kindest, most creative and inspirational wedding planner, stylist and coordinator. We were lucky enough to have Amanda involved in every aspect of our wedding and we are so thankful for her guidance and support. From our first initial emails, consultation meeting, final meetings and numerous messages (from me!), Amanda was nothing but helpful and supportive. On the day, it was a joy to have Amanda join my bridal prep in the morning, brining a sense of calm, style and humour. She ensured everything was on track and ensured that I was happy and prepared for when we moved to the venue. During the day, we had countless compliments about Amanda's efficiency and how friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork, with no issues, and I am certain this was due to Superwoman Amanda. She also helped us to achieve the perfect champagne spray photo! The styling... Words fail me. Amanda took our ideas and colours and made it so much more. During our final design meeting, Amanda made detailed notes and offered suggestions for how to syle our venue. We were so confident in her abilities, we encouraged Amanda to do what she does best, and she did! Amanda created the classiest, cosiest, most elegant autumn vibes you could ever imagine. Our photographer, who had worked at the venue numerous other times, said it was the most beautiful she had ever seen it. I truly cannot recommend Amanda enough. She has a heart of gold and I feel so privaledge to have worked with such a creative and inspiring person. Lesley and the Rustic team did a full style for our wedding at Hothorpe the Woodlands, including all of our flowers and they were amazing! The team took our vision and made it a reality, they incorporated all of our themes perfectly in to the decor. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible everything looked. We could not have achieved this level of perfection without Lesley! My bouquet was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I've made the decision to preserve some of the flowers in glass so that I can keep part of it forever. From initial enquiry to the day of the wedding, to tidying up after, Lesley and the team were incredible. The showroom and pre wedding meetings made the experience so much smoother being able to see our visions come to life. On the day, we never even noticed the team running around and setting up, and they pivoted seamlessly when we had to emergency change the table plan due to illness. The quality of the items, flowers and more really helped make our wedding day special. We really couldn’t recommend the Rustic Wedding Company any more, we would urge everyone to use them! My husband and I booked with the Rustic Wedding Company for the flowers & venue styling for our wedding a few weeks ago at Dodford Manor Barn and we would 100% recommend them! Lesley & her team are so professional and talented in every aspect of what they do, bringing such a breadth of knowledge which made the planning process that much easier. The communication before the day was amazing, with regular emails, a zoom consultation and an in person appointment at their showroom. All of this together made us super comfortable that everything was going to be exactly as we dreamt our wedding would be. The in person appointment we had was the most helpful to us as I was worried about how everything would look together, but Lesley made & remade (and remade) our show table until we were entirely happy with it. She was so accommodating to my indecisiveness throughout, inputting her expert opinions where necessary. On the wedding day itself, the bouquets, buttonholes & corsages were delivered to Dodford Grange before the team headed to the venue to do the rest of the setup. The flowers were beyond anything I could have imagined, so much so that I got my bridal bouquet preserved after the wedding because I just couldn’t bear to watch it die! The venue setup was completely seamless and again, beyond my wildest hopes. Everything was utter perfection in every way. We had a mixture of hired & our own decorations and team rustic set it all up, moved things between the ceremony and breakfast and then came back the next day to take it all down. They took away all of the potential stress, which was absolutely worth every penny! Thank you so much for styling us the most perfect day!

We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.

We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! I can’t recommend them enough not even just the photos but as people you really are lovely and so down to earth.. and this is exactly what you need and want in someone for your big day. We had so many guests complimenting the “photographers” saying how lovely they was and how much fun they was having. You dressed my Daughters wedding at Donington park Farmhouse 3.11.23 and WOW you are amazing at what you do and the venue looked absolutely beautiful. Such a professional company from the first communication to the big day. As this was a barn wedding we were not allowed real candles and was a little worried as I don’t like the artificial ones but I can honestly say you couldn’t tell they were stunning and so were your flowers the venue was beautiful, Thank you sooo much. We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

We used White Petal for our wedding near Christmas 2024. They were a great lot to deal with and we always had quick responses to any questions or ideas we had. They dressed the ceremony room which included the chair covers, bows, candles, petals etc as well the evening venue room with all the table decorations, candles, wreaths and Christmas bits dotted around. We also hired the giant love letters for the dance floor.

Dominique was brilliant!!!! from meeting us at the venue a few months prior, to the morning of the wedding and even after, Dominique was great. She really listened to everything we wanted (and helped us along the way when we didn't have a clue :)) The ceremony room and the reception room looked absolutely stunning!! and at the end of the night she spoke with us asking how the day had gone whilst helping to clear everything away! Jordan and Simon rounded off our wedding night with a brilliant DJ set-up, with very professional-looking equipment and a great feel-good playlist including all the tracks you'd want for a wedding celebration. They were also happy customizing it with a number of songs our guests requested. They provide a very professional, efficient and friendly service, and are undoubtedly great value-for-money. Would definitely recommend!

We used Star Events for our wedding at Hanbury Wedding Barn in May and cannot recommend them enough. Easy communication right from the point of booking up until the day, a fair price and they got the music just right. Really lovely guys and I would not hesitate to use them again should I need a DJ.
