We used White Petal for our wedding near Christmas 2024. They were a great lot to deal with and we always had quick responses to any questions or ideas we had. They dressed the ceremony room which included the chair covers, bows, candles, petals etc as well the evening venue room with all the table decorations, candles, wreaths and Christmas bits dotted around. We also hired the giant love letters for the dance floor.

Dominique was brilliant!!!! from meeting us at the venue a few months prior, to the morning of the wedding and even after, Dominique was great. She really listened to everything we wanted (and helped us along the way when we didn't have a clue :)) The ceremony room and the reception room looked absolutely stunning!! and at the end of the night she spoke with us asking how the day had gone whilst helping to clear everything away! We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

We can’t thank you enough for how incredible you made our venue look on our wedding day. The whole place looked absolutely stunning and you brought our vision to life then exceeded it! From the bigger pieces including the flower arch to the finer details - everything looked perfect. We’ve received so many lovely compliments on the decor and just wanted to say thank you so, so much for your incredible work! Dominique is so approachable, professional and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about the service she is delivering. 10/10 would recommend as an events stylist.

What a beautiful and unique venue! We could not have asked for more for our wedding day. Everything was fantastic from all the support planning to the on the day support and pack down, it all ran incredibly smoothly. We were also so impressed with the onsite accommodation. Short review - if you’re thinking of booking Knockerdown for your wedding- do it! You will not regret it. From start to finish the service and support from Fiona and the rest of the team is outstanding. The venue is beautiful, and we had the best weekend ever. Long review- where do we begin? We visited the venue and fell in love straight away, the opportunity to have all our friends and family stay on site in beautiful self catering accommodation was one we could not miss. The cottages are so nice, homely & have all that you need. The Brackendale room where you can be married and/or have your wedding breakfast and evening reception is stunning. There’s so many facilities on site to use, including a games room and swimming pool. The views are stunning and there’s the opportunity to get married outside. I got ready in the Bonsall cottage and if you don’t have a large bridal party, this is an excellent space to get ready and then turns into the most beautiful honeymoon suite. The venue is a 10 out of 10, not one fault. In terms of Fiona and the team, they are outstanding. Everyone we came into contact with made us feel so important and relaxed, so friendly and professional. Fiona was amazing, from the moment we booked she has supported us with every choice, we put our complete trust in her as she’s so good at what she does. At no point did I ever feel stressed as I know she had it all in hand. We made full use of the venue for the whole weekend and had soooo many suppliers, so we made Fiona work- and it was seamless. We had a pie van and band on the Friday. Saturday was our wedding day and we had fish and chips, ice cream, pizza, DJ, Photo Booth, audio guestbook, live singer. Sunday we had a Greek van and a magician. So as you can see, we took full advantage of using this beautiful venue. We are so grateful for everything that Fiona did for us in ensuring all the suppliers ran smoothly. We couldn’t get married outside, which is what I desperately wanted but the way Fiona was so chilled and so reassuring just made me so at ease and just go with the flow, and now I’m so glad I got married in the Brackendale room as it’s stunning! Many of our guests have said that it’s the best wedding that they have been to and because it’s a DIY venue, they said it was so unique and different to any other wedding they’ve experienced. Having a wedding weekend instead of a wedding day is the way forward, we enjoyed every single minute. Book it - you will not regret! The support from Justine and the team at Knockerdown wedding venue was first class in helping my daughter and new husband plan the perfect wedding day, and perfect it was. Nothing was too much trouble and were very supportive throughout without being in your face. The whole weekend was fantastic, and the cottages were spotlessly clean and furnished to the highest standard. Friends and family spent the whole weekend there and couldn't stop praising the whole event. Obviously, a lot was down the impeccable planning by the bride and groom (they had thought of EVERYTHING! down to the finest of details) and the massive support from Justine at the venue. If there had been an option to give this place a 10-star review, I would have done.

Fiona, you are an absolute gem. I had no worries on my wedding day at all. Not one bit. Everything, right down to the signs on the doors to the complimentary prosecco in our rooms was just amazing. We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. We hired Amanda for our Wedding in May 2024 as a wedding coordinator, and by far was probably the best decision we made during our planning. I honestly don’t know how our wedding would have taken place on the day without Amanda. Amanda set up all our props for our Wedding the day before / morning of, and then coordinated our day. Amanda really went above and beyond throughout the day, keeping the day on track and making sure it aligned to mine and my husband wishes. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she really brought our vision to life. We honestly cannot say thank you enough and would absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone getting married. Where do I even start with this incredible human?! Amanda is the kindest, most creative and inspirational wedding planner, stylist and coordinator. We were lucky enough to have Amanda involved in every aspect of our wedding and we are so thankful for her guidance and support. From our first initial emails, consultation meeting, final meetings and numerous messages (from me!), Amanda was nothing but helpful and supportive. On the day, it was a joy to have Amanda join my bridal prep in the morning, brining a sense of calm, style and humour. She ensured everything was on track and ensured that I was happy and prepared for when we moved to the venue. During the day, we had countless compliments about Amanda's efficiency and how friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork, with no issues, and I am certain this was due to Superwoman Amanda. She also helped us to achieve the perfect champagne spray photo! The styling... Words fail me. Amanda took our ideas and colours and made it so much more. During our final design meeting, Amanda made detailed notes and offered suggestions for how to syle our venue. We were so confident in her abilities, we encouraged Amanda to do what she does best, and she did! Amanda created the classiest, cosiest, most elegant autumn vibes you could ever imagine. Our photographer, who had worked at the venue numerous other times, said it was the most beautiful she had ever seen it. I truly cannot recommend Amanda enough. She has a heart of gold and I feel so privaledge to have worked with such a creative and inspiring person. This was an excellent addition to our wedding party and whilst the options and pictures looked great, they looked even better in person. Naomi and her team set up a gorgeous area with several games and guests really enjoyed it. I have seen games at weddings before and liked the idea, but these were aesthetically a level above and such high quality for a very reasonable price. Organisation was incredibly straight forward and stress free which was a big help for the day. Once they were booked, they liaised with the venue and showed great initiative, which we were appreciative of, as it meant we got a fab addition to the day, with no additional stress. I can't recommend these enough and am so glad we included this as part of the wedding.

Mandy decorated our wedding venue, it’s looked perfect we couldn’t have been happier with anything. The service was next to none no question was ever silly. Review From the moment we got the call to say we had won round one of the wedding competition to the moment we woke up as husband and wife, Maria and Bespoke have been incredible. There is so much press on how stressful planning a wedding is but for us it has been the opposite, in fact it was rather a magical experience and we only had just over 4 months to get it all done! Maria was there on the day and made sure we had everything we needed and throughout the day she made sure we were happy, she was amazing and it was a blessing to have her as part of our day. Myself and my partner won on a bespoke wedding competition last month. Now we are all booked in to the beautiful haycock manor in Peterborough for our wedding next year! The discount and saving we have received on our big day through bespoke weddings competition has made it possible for us to have our big day the way we always wanted to without the massive bill. I also would highly recommend Maria Napper one wedding coordinator from bespoke wedding as she is so lovely, friendly and already has helped me so much and really listened to what I want but with the budget I have and she’s made it all possible couldn’t thank her enough. Oh Grangefields! This place was everything and more! We had the absolute best day! When a venue says don’t worry we will take care of it, you think okay that’s good, but when Grangfields say it, it’s absolutely true! Nothing was too much the day ran so smoothly. Each and every staff member was amazing! They all looked like they loved working there! Nothing was too much for them! A special shout out to Victoria and Tim, you guys made our day so much more special! Thank you so much for being apart of it! All of our guests were raving about this venue they couldn’t believe the beauty! And how much space everyone had. The fact that all the rooms are separate was just perfect! Wow! What can a say, Grangefield’s it was a pleasure. I cannot fault the entire process at this venue. It’s taken me a while to get to this review and during this time I’ve had so many compliments regarding the wedding. From start the finish Grangefield’s were supportive in all our decisions. They were very easy to get in touch with, we visited the venue on multiple occasions and they went above and beyond. Now the man of the hour, Tim! This guy sold the venue to us from the very beginning. His enthusiasm for weddings was what set this venue apart from others. He was there on the day and made it run very smoothly. Nothing was too big of an ask. Thank you Tim! We were originally concerned as we could not try the food for our day due it being a wedding only venue. This means they cannot cook just a few things off the menu due to cost. However, the food was INCREDIBLE!!! That has to be the top compliment from guests. We were very full, which is saying something as half the family are Italian. Evening pizza was also amazing, we had lots left over and they boxed it all up for people to take home. Such a hidden gem. This place is stunning. Attended here for a wedding and the vibes were immaculate. The events manager, staff, decor were all on point. I really enjoyed the wedding. The barn is so picturesque. Amazing scenes all around. The floor has under heat layer and it just feels so cozy. The reception/hall is so beautifully decorated. The kitchen has visible glass so you can see the fresh food being made. Would love to come back again.
