Such a hidden gem. This place is stunning. Attended here for a wedding and the vibes were immaculate. The events manager, staff, decor were all on point. I really enjoyed the wedding. The barn is so picturesque. Amazing scenes all around. The floor has under heat layer and it just feels so cozy. The reception/hall is so beautifully decorated. The kitchen has visible glass so you can see the fresh food being made. Would love to come back again.

The biggest thank you to all the Grangefields team for making our wedding the most unbelievable day. Our guests were hugely complimentary regards to the hospitality and how incredible the food was. The team could not have done more. The venue is outrageously beautiful and it was absolutely the happiest day of our lives. Wow! What can a say, Grangefield’s it was a pleasure. I cannot fault the entire process at this venue. It’s taken me a while to get to this review and during this time I’ve had so many compliments regarding the wedding. From start the finish Grangefield’s were supportive in all our decisions. They were very easy to get in touch with, we visited the venue on multiple occasions and they went above and beyond. Now the man of the hour, Tim! This guy sold the venue to us from the very beginning. His enthusiasm for weddings was what set this venue apart from others. He was there on the day and made it run very smoothly. Nothing was too big of an ask. Thank you Tim! We were originally concerned as we could not try the food for our day due it being a wedding only venue. This means they cannot cook just a few things off the menu due to cost. However, the food was INCREDIBLE!!! That has to be the top compliment from guests. We were very full, which is saying something as half the family are Italian. Evening pizza was also amazing, we had lots left over and they boxed it all up for people to take home. Oh Grangefields! This place was everything and more! We had the absolute best day! When a venue says don’t worry we will take care of it, you think okay that’s good, but when Grangfields say it, it’s absolutely true! Nothing was too much the day ran so smoothly. Each and every staff member was amazing! They all looked like they loved working there! Nothing was too much for them! A special shout out to Victoria and Tim, you guys made our day so much more special! Thank you so much for being apart of it! All of our guests were raving about this venue they couldn’t believe the beauty! And how much space everyone had. The fact that all the rooms are separate was just perfect! We beyond grateful for Bespoke Weddings. I couldn't believe it when I received the phone call to let us know that we had won their competition of free wedding venue. Without them our wedding would not be happening so soon and we can't wait. Our Bespoke Wedding Planner Jade has been simply amazing! Our experience so far has been great with Bespoke and can’t thank our wedding planner Nicole enough for her support. We never thought we’d hear anything back when entering the competition and then receiving a call to say we had won our venue costs for a venue of our dreams was amazing. We get married late 2026 but thanks to the quick responses from Nicole we have managed to secure the majority of our vendors through the competition at some amazing prices which has taken away so much stress so we can focus on the more sentimental details. Myself and my partner won on a bespoke wedding competition last month. Now we are all booked in to the beautiful haycock manor in Peterborough for our wedding next year! The discount and saving we have received on our big day through bespoke weddings competition has made it possible for us to have our big day the way we always wanted to without the massive bill. I also would highly recommend Maria Napper one wedding coordinator from bespoke wedding as she is so lovely, friendly and already has helped me so much and really listened to what I want but with the budget I have and she’s made it all possible couldn’t thank her enough. White petal events were brilliant from start to finish - our wedding venue looked stunning - it couldn’t have been better and all our guests commented on it all. Very professional service - handled our wedding event set up without any issues or worries- would highly recommend.

We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

Dominique was brilliant!!!! from meeting us at the venue a few months prior, to the morning of the wedding and even after, Dominique was great. She really listened to everything we wanted (and helped us along the way when we didn't have a clue :)) The ceremony room and the reception room looked absolutely stunning!! and at the end of the night she spoke with us asking how the day had gone whilst helping to clear everything away! My daughter had a lovely sleepover party with Pop up Party, right from booking through to delivery Naomi was so helpful. The tents are really pretty we had the boho type. I would highly recommend.

This was an excellent addition to our wedding party and whilst the options and pictures looked great, they looked even better in person. Naomi and her team set up a gorgeous area with several games and guests really enjoyed it. I have seen games at weddings before and liked the idea, but these were aesthetically a level above and such high quality for a very reasonable price. Organisation was incredibly straight forward and stress free which was a big help for the day. Once they were booked, they liaised with the venue and showed great initiative, which we were appreciative of, as it meant we got a fab addition to the day, with no additional stress. I can't recommend these enough and am so glad we included this as part of the wedding.

Fantastic service from Dee. I booked to have table decor, chair covers, sashes and the love letters at our wedding. The venue looked beautiful once all done. I cannot thank Dee enough for this. I fully recommend them to anyone.

Dee is fab, we used her for our sweet cart and the table bowls with flowers, table runners I absolutely loved what she did which included a welcome to our wedding sign, when I saw the room. Every wedding fayre we went too she was awesome would absolutely recommend.

We’ve just come back from our weekend wedding at Knockerdown Cottages and there aren’t enough words to say how perfect it was. Our wedding coordinator Justeen went above and beyond a million times over, during the two years leading up to the wedding and over the whole weekend itself. We can’t thank her and the team enough for helping us create such a fun and special weekend. Having most of our guests be able to stay on site was really important to us, as well as the option to choose all our own suppliers and decorate as we wanted to. Knockerdown provided all this in a beautiful location which made it an easy choice. All of our guests keep telling us how incredible the venue was, and how friendly and endlessly helpful the staff were. We're so impressed and so pleased we chose Knockerdown for our wedding. We can’t wait to come back for a visit!

The support from Justine and the team at Knockerdown wedding venue was first class in helping my daughter and new husband plan the perfect wedding day, and perfect it was. Nothing was too much trouble and were very supportive throughout without being in your face. The whole weekend was fantastic, and the cottages were spotlessly clean and furnished to the highest standard. Friends and family spent the whole weekend there and couldn't stop praising the whole event. Obviously, a lot was down the impeccable planning by the bride and groom (they had thought of EVERYTHING! down to the finest of details) and the massive support from Justine at the venue. If there had been an option to give this place a 10-star review, I would have done.

Fiona, you are an absolute gem. I had no worries on my wedding day at all. Not one bit. Everything, right down to the signs on the doors to the complimentary prosecco in our rooms was just amazing. Thank you all at Knockerdown for the best weekend ever, it feels like a dream that I want to live over and over again. If you're thinking about your wedding in Derbyshire, don't look anywhere else.

Mandy decorated our wedding venue, it’s looked perfect we couldn’t have been happier with anything. The service was next to none no question was ever silly. Would definitely recommend always and forever. We also used Mandy’s other business Ayup flower I was so happy with how the flowers turned out and will save them forever. Thank you Mandy!!
