Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. We hired Birch & All Events for our wedding at the start of July, we had his top package and it was worth every penny! He turned up on time, supplied everything he was supposed to and most importantly got the crowd going in the evening. We have hired bouncy castles and selfie pod off him previously for birthdays as well and again can't fault his service. Would highly recommend Ali to anyone

I would thoroughly recommend Ali for your party. He effortlessly managed to get everyone up dancing, making it a truly fun and memorable night. It was great to see three generations all up and dancing together. Rang a few companies who were pushy and/or expensive. Ali at Birch & All Events was a hero. We got a fantastic deal on a princess bouncy castle, soft play and didi bikes and the kids at the party had an amazing time. Ali got everything set up on time before we had even got there, gave me a ring to let me know it was all done and was very professional throughout. Will definitely be using Birch & All Events time and time again as my girls grow up!

Where to start..... I can not ever thank Helen enough for giving us the most magical day of our lives and the wedding of our absolute DREAMS last September. When I first came across Helen back in 2019, I knew instantly from looking at her beautiful website and following our initial consultation that Helen was exactly the person I wanted and needed to have planning our wedding with us; I never needed to consider any other planners, I knew straight away that Helen and her team were going to be the ones for us. Initially, my (now) Husband was against the idea of spending money on a wedding planner however with heavy work schedules and dreams of a luxurious wedding but not knowing a thing about the industry, there was no doubt that it was a battle he was not going to win; he will be the first person now to say it was the BEST decision we made in the whole of the planning process. Having Helen on board paid even more dividends when COVID hit and we were faced with two postponements; Helen took so much stress away from us during that time, showed us so much care and I have no doubts that Helens reputation and highly respected position in the wedding industry meant that we were luckily able to move the wedding date on both occasions with minimal financial impact. Helen is not only the ultimate professional, she is just the most wonderful person and I will be forever grateful that we were able to share such a special time with her and have her support for every step of the way. Yesterday was second time that I worked with Helen at Peckforton Castle, so many special and unique aspects were brought into play at this event, I can still hear the gasps of appreciation from the guests, the whole day ran like clockwork. Booked asiana in August last year, I hired them for photography/ cinematography as well as my Mendhi stage and house lights, everything has come out perfectly!! The stage, video and photos are exactly as I imaged. I got the video and photos really fast! The photo book especially is something I would point out as not many other companies provide this, having something physical with all our favourite photos is amazing to have as a keepsake. Kayleigh is very helpful and has lots of ideas for kids parties and weddings ☺️ I used the number lights for my son's birthday and Kayleigh dropped them and picked then up in the time we had said. We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.

We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! I could not recommend Cheshire Celebrations enough. From first meeting Simon and Rachel, discussing our venue dressing up until to the big day everything was flawless. Even to the point where Simon helped with ideas on where to place some of our own custom signs with it being no trouble at all to help set them up. Cannot recommend simon and his team..recently got married at Shrigley hall simon was so helpful and guided us. We had a lovely package which included dancefloor, room lighting, DJ, letters & 360 photobooth. I couldn't have asked for better, the room looked incredible. We had our dream weeding! We wanted a traditional Pakistani/ Muslim wedding in a timeless venue. Heaton House was our first choice and we knew nothing would compare. We initially struggled with the thought of only being able to use a list of approved providers, particularly because we required traditional pakistani/ halal cuisine. We used Seven Seas Caterers who delivered food BEYOND expectations. The planning and support from the Heaton House Farm team, particularly Nicola and Harriet was very reassuring and supportive to ensure the correct choices were made. The owner, Mick is also a lovely gentleman. We used the startlight roof for our Qawali. It was something out of this world. I viewed so many venues before making a decision but this was our first viewing and nothing can compare. No regrets, just amazing memories and the knowledge we had our dream moment. The Heaton House Venue is magical and the team are magicians!!

After getting engaged I started browsing venues without any seriousness or urgency. I would save the websites of those I liked to look again when we were ready to set a date. I had quite a few saved that had caught my eye - mostly I was looking for somewhere picturesque. I came across Heaton House Farm Wedding Venue and found myself scrolling more photos, reading reviews and then watching their virtual tour (which I also think was a brilliant idea!). Well, that was it - I loved it already! There was soo many details that ticked all my boxes, the seamless transitioning, the views, accommodation and everything on site, the water gardens and the pamper room, wow! This was a game changer! I showed my partner and even he had to agree it looked great. We booked our show around which was easy to do online and were not disappointed! We both pretty much agreed there and then it was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The venue is beautiful, flexible and transitions seamlessly to meet the size and requirements of any wedding. Now, here we are reflecting on the most beautiful day we could have imagined - the rain even stopped for us, just for our day! 😊 From the very beginning of wedding planning, Heaton House made everything so easy! I always hear of brides being stressed. If anything I was worried I was missing something because I was so relaxed and worry free! Everything was already taken care of, thought of or in progress! When the date was confirmed we were given a personal wedding planner which we could edit and amend to update all the details for the day. This made planning so easy and Heaton House read every update and supported where needed with any information we added. As the big day drew closer, we were allocated an event coordinator, Lindsey, who organised a planning meeting with us. Of course we prepared a few questions (which we only thought of because of their wedding planner!). Lindsey took time to discuss everything we needed. She took on board all our requests, thought about details we wouldn't have and helped so much with planning minor details and timings etc that would best fit our day and specifications. Lindsey made me feel that nothing was a bother and reasured me when I was worried about becoming 'bridezilla!' This expert support and advise is so helpful when planning what should be such an important day. We were given lots of useful additional information such as extra accommodation details, taxi information and were given a login to access additional information and FAQs. Communication throughout booking, planning and on the day was outstanding and the service and attention to detail cannot be faulted. On the day itself, myself and the bridal party had access to the pamper room from 9am. This was great for getting ready in a relaxed environment with everything you could need without needing to travel to the venue ready. Lindsey was on hand to guide us with everything we needed to know. Throughout the day Lindsey was present precisely when needed and seemed to disappear otherwise - seeming to know exactly when to appear and support the seamless flow of the days events. Everything was timed perfectly and despite the fact that Lindsey does this as a job, she is soo enthusiastic and comes across genuinely happy for you. All our guests commented how beautiful the venue was, what a great choice we made (despite making them travel to get there) and how they had an amazing time at our wedding. The feedback we have received has been brilliant and it's so nice to hear that our guests had as good a time as we did! We can't thank you enough Lindsey and all of the team at Heaton House for our special day - it truly couldn't have been better! Wow, where can I start! We had our wedding at Heaton House in May 2023, and it was the best day of our lives. I fell in love with the venue as soon as I saw it, the barns are beautiful, the grounds are stunning and the staff are fabulous! Joanne was our coordinator and we absolutely cannot fault her. She was lovely, and very reassuring and calming! Our day went so smoothly and this was all down to Joanne and the team in the background keeping things running and making sure ourselves and our guests were happy. The food for our wedding was a majorly big deal for us, being massive food lovers and in particular curry lovers! We wanted something a little different that suited us. We chose the ‘street stall’ food options and oh my word - it did not disappoint! We had the choice of 3 different food carts - we chose Indian, Greek and British. The food was to die for and there was something to suit everyone, and plenty of it! I had a plate of each! We had so many compliments from guests regarding the food, everyone loved it and everyone thought it was delicious. The honeymoon suite and the bridal preparation room are gorgeous, we had so much fun before the wedding even began! We stayed the night before and were helped with anything we needed, then we had a beautiful bridal brunch whilst getting ready for the big day, music on, Prosecco flowing! Our whole experience was perfect from start to finish, Joanne and the team were just an email away whenever we had any questions and always timely with responses. We felt very supported. We would recommend Heaton House and the team to Brides and Grooms on the hunt for their perfect wedding venue - you definitely won’t regret it!
