Cracking converted Mill House gives up some lovely photo opportunities, especially in the evening with the late sunshine. Perfect place to start a walk across the toll bridge into Darley Park.

We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! I can’t recommend them enough not even just the photos but as people you really are lovely and so down to earth.. and this is exactly what you need and want in someone for your big day. We had so many guests complimenting the “photographers” saying how lovely they was and how much fun they was having. We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.

Our venue looked beautiful & the flowers on the tables were gorgeous & matched our bridal flowers perfectly. My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

I had just been to a wedding here, and it was amazing. the staff and managers are so helpful. the ground looks great. The rooms look amazing. the food is the best I have had in long time. There is lots of parking. very posh venue 5* just a amazing place to have a wedding or go to a wedding. be nice to have a kids area I did not see one. the drive/road cud do with a passing area so you don't have to drive on the mud and a better signage on the main road but overall what a amazing place to get married thanks to all friendly staff I had a great time 😁 and wow the food 🤤

Came here for a family wedding (surprise!) What a venue. Walked through the main doors into an open courtyard and then several reception rooms off the courtyard. Think it's 16th century from what I was told. Wooden beams everywhere and looks stunning. Everyone of the staff were 5 star from servers to bar staff..... Very polite and very helpful. We didn't stay overnight but saw a couple of the rooms which looked impeccable. Well thought out wedding venue and a great night to boot. Thank you all 👍💥👍

Had the most fantastic experience here last week for my daughters wedding. Everything from start to finish was unbelievable. From the setting of the wedding to the photos, food was amazing. Excellent all round from the staff in particular Tammy who have everything pinned down to the second.

We got married at Swancar and it was the best decision we made. We viewed many venues but non were as spectacular as Swancar farm. We were lucky enough to have Rebecca as our wedding coordinator, from start to finish she was incredible. Her ability to coordinate, organise and arrange for our vision to come to life was amazing. Throughout our planning meetings Rebecca listened attentively, I felt reassured that the our special day was in good hands, nothing was ever too much of a problem. She really did take the stress away. The venue itself is stunning, from the stables, bridal suite, oak hall and breakfast area, we can’t fault a thing. All staff on the day were so friendly, lovely and attentive. The food was delicious, receiving many compliments from our guests. It truly was a spectacular day and we are so very grateful for Rebecca and the whole team on making this so very special. Thank you, Holly & Ryan x

Naomi was fabulous! She was early and set a fantastic job creating a superb event. All my guests loved the luxe picnic. It set the perfect setting for my daughter’s birthday party.

My daughter had a lovely sleepover party with Pop up Party, right from booking through to delivery Naomi was so helpful. The tents are really pretty we had the boho type. I would highly recommend.

This was an excellent addition to our wedding party and whilst the options and pictures looked great, they looked even better in person. Naomi and her team set up a gorgeous area with several games and guests really enjoyed it. I have seen games at weddings before and liked the idea, but these were aesthetically a level above and such high quality for a very reasonable price. Organisation was incredibly straight forward and stress free which was a big help for the day. Once they were booked, they liaised with the venue and showed great initiative, which we were appreciative of, as it meant we got a fab addition to the day, with no additional stress. I can't recommend these enough and am so glad we included this as part of the wedding.

As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. Tor we thank you so much for all your hard work, time and just being fab! You are welcome at the farm any time :) xxx

She's detail oriented, passionate, and amazing to work with. No task is too big or small for Victoria, and the entire wedding ran so smoothly thanks to her help! Review From the moment we got the call to say we had won round one of the wedding competition to the moment we woke up as husband and wife, Maria and Bespoke have been incredible. There is so much press on how stressful planning a wedding is but for us it has been the opposite, in fact it was rather a magical experience and we only had just over 4 months to get it all done! Maria was there on the day and made sure we had everything we needed and throughout the day she made sure we were happy, she was amazing and it was a blessing to have her as part of our day. The biggest thank you goes to Maria for her professional and passionate approach to planning our big day. She started as our planner but now she’s more like family.
