Amanda was truly the MVP of our wedding! From the moment we started working with her, she brought a level of organisation, efficiency, and creativity that made everything run smoothly. Her friendly and approachable communication style kept us all on track in the planning stages, and her attention to detail ensured that every part of our day was exactly as we envisioned. Having access to her beautiful styling collection was a game-changer for the overall look, and she went above and beyond to bring it all together. Thanks to Amanda, we were able to enjoy every minute of the day itself without a single worry. Involving her was the best decision we made and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. Having Amanda was one of the best decisions we made - we couldn’t recommend her more and are so grateful for everything she did and helped us with.

Where do I even start with this incredible human?! Amanda is the kindest, most creative and inspirational wedding planner, stylist and coordinator. We were lucky enough to have Amanda involved in every aspect of our wedding and we are so thankful for her guidance and support. From our first initial emails, consultation meeting, final meetings and numerous messages (from me!), Amanda was nothing but helpful and supportive. On the day, it was a joy to have Amanda join my bridal prep in the morning, brining a sense of calm, style and humour. She ensured everything was on track and ensured that I was happy and prepared for when we moved to the venue. During the day, we had countless compliments about Amanda's efficiency and how friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork, with no issues, and I am certain this was due to Superwoman Amanda. She also helped us to achieve the perfect champagne spray photo! The styling... Words fail me. Amanda took our ideas and colours and made it so much more. During our final design meeting, Amanda made detailed notes and offered suggestions for how to syle our venue. We were so confident in her abilities, we encouraged Amanda to do what she does best, and she did! Amanda created the classiest, cosiest, most elegant autumn vibes you could ever imagine. Our photographer, who had worked at the venue numerous other times, said it was the most beautiful she had ever seen it. I truly cannot recommend Amanda enough. She has a heart of gold and I feel so privaledge to have worked with such a creative and inspiring person. The Holly Bush farm retreat is a beautiful farm house with beautiful suroundings. The interior has a contemporary design with multiple rooms and en-suite facilities. Very clean on arrival, with all the necessary appliances. The beds were so comfortable with multiple pillows provided. There were many of us with loads of small children and it never felt crowded. In addition there was a games room with a pool table and table tennis. The cherry on the already fantastic cake was the two charging ports outside, which meant we made it home/ good distance without having to look for somewhere to charge. Peak Venues comes highly recommended.

Fab house, lovely local pubs. House fully equipped for groups. Kitchen large enough for catering and table long enough to seat everyone comfortably. Cosy log burners in each lounge. It even snowed when we visited, so magical!! We’ll be coming again!

Absolutely fantastic setting for a large group (Manifold farmhouse and barns). The service from Peak Venues was incredible and everything made very easy. The venue was spotless and all the staff we dealt with very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the booking and checking in process and information available. By far the best accommodation provider I've used. Our whole family loved The Farmhouse. The catering company that was recommended (Zest4Events) were also brilliant. Eighteen of us (friends, not family) spent last weekend at Manifold Barns and it was amazing! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The lounge was comfortable but our evenings were spent round the huge dining table - eating, drinking (responsibly 😊) chatting, quizzing and generally having a great time. Thank you to Margaret, who manages the Barns, for her prompt help with a couple of things. And a big bonus was the EV charger. I'm sure more s/c holiday lets will get them but Manifold Barns got there first! We go away as a group every spring and everyone agreed this was the best yet.

Tim and vicky did our wedding in July. I gave them a idea of what I would like and then left it to them and boy did they do a good job. Everything was perfect. The arcade machine and crafts table was a big hit for everyone of all ages. They was prompt with any queries I had. I will forever be grateful for what they did. If your thinking of hiring a back drop for your event DO IT! And make sure to come to EPIC EVENTS! Absolutely amazing, quick responders and a lovely couple! Iv been scammed in the past with my wedding and I explained this in my messages and this lovely lady was so understanding and made me feel at ease straight away! Even on her holiday! Nothing was too much trouble and even managed to change the sequins last minute at my request! Tim came and set up such a nice bloke! Me and my partner was having a laugh with him about our own attempt at some balloons haha will defo be using their services in the future! Can’t recommend the company enough! The back drop was gorgeous and everyone loved it! It was a real hit and such a cute photo prop! Everyone commented on it it really was the best addition to the party! Thankyou so much epic events! Couldn't recommend enough!! I got married 3 weeks ago today and leading up to the day Epic Events couldn't do enough, they were regularly checking in making sure they had everything i needed, that colours matched, going over foliage and so on! They are both so lovely, easy to talk to, down to earth and the room was absolutely stunning! The colours were beautiful and everything really was just perfectly done. Would highly recommend to anyone for any event.

Breathtakingly Beautiful… Emily & Fran did all of our styling & floristry. The flowers were truly out of this world beautiful. The colours were just beautiful. We love nature and wanted a colourful, meadow-like vibe for our relaxed spring wedding. We also wanted stylists who could make the most of our lovely but relatively small venue. Finally, we wanted to be confident that our wedding day would look beautiful without having to stress about it or do anything ourselves. Sass absolutely nailed it on all three points. Working with them was a dream from start to finish. They were very flexible and creative, had a lot of options, and were easy to communicate and plan with. They created very effective moodboards so we could see that they fully understood what we were asking for. Their quote was detailed and fully broken down so we could see what every element cost. If we had wanted to do any of it ourselves, we could've easily adjusted the plan thanks to their honest and transparent approach. (However, we were so pleased with their vision that we just stepped back and let them do their thing.) We also got to visit their showroom and see multiple different styling options. They changed things before our eyes to suit our preferences, had example flowers and signage, mock table layouts, the whole shebang. They also met with us at the venue to plan things, and liaised with staff at the venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process thanks to their careful approach. As for the big day itself - everything was absolutely perfect. Walking into the venue was like walking into a dream. The flowers were stunning, the decor was gorgeous. Everything was exactly as we wanted, better than we imagined. We received countless compliments from our guests. One guest, who is a professional event planner, was stunned to hear what we had spent on the flowers and styling, as she expected the cost to be higher. Our bridesmaids kept their bouquets while we took the rest of the flowers home - and despite driving over an hour in a very hot car, they lasted beautifully and adorned our home for a week afterwards, which was a lovely treat. Thank you Emily and Fran for making our day look like a fairytale!

We booked Make It Special Events for our wedding last August. I’d shopped around for a venue dresser and Make It Special were competitive and recommended by our wedding venue, Mythe Barn. I’m reviewing Instagram it was clear that they were regularly at the venue and knew how to create a beautiful setting. I’m quite a detailed person and had a very specific idea of exactly what I wanted - however after time working with Jo and Wendy on the proposal I had so much trust in their creative vision and eye for detail that I was open to their ideas and suggestions. Prior to the wedding day itself they created a mock-up of the table setting at their site in Atherstone. This was so useful as it gave me the opportunity to see in advance exactly how things would look and make changes. I know I’m biased but what they did on the day I believe to be one of the most beautiful settings I’ve seen at Mythe Barn. It was so classy and elegant and exactly what I’d wanted, if not better! Jo and Wendy are an absolute dream to work with - they are so hard working and have amazing creativity and attention to detail. I cannot recommend them highly enough - book them, you won’t regret it!

Ellie and the team completed our venue and made it look stunning! We had some last minute bad weather but they were on hand straight away to advise and help. Ellie was a massive help in deciding on decor in the run up to the wedding and nothing was too much trouble. I kept changing and dithering and she was incredibly patient!! I honestly cannot express how highly I recommend everything covered! Originally booked for a wedding in 2020 which was cancelled due to covid, after another attempted and failed wedding, we finally got there! (Third time lucky!) So much changed in this time, the venue (twice), the decor, the items I hired (even to the point that the day before the wedding we were messaging about what decor we could add!) and honestly Ellie went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us! She even added extra covers on the day as the venue misunderstood the table plan and therefore we ended up with more chairs than expected! The covers, hoods, the most beautiful starlight curtain and she even added a beautiful ‘happily ever after’ sign which just added to the ambience! Thank you so much, I can’t have been an easy customer but nothing felt too much of an ask and she was so helpful and understanding! Thank you!

I cant thank Ellie enough for her help with decorating the venue for our wedding. It was like a dream come true when I saw the room all dressed up. An absolutely stunning flower arch (which Ellie personalised to match the colour theme) spectacular centre pieces (again personalised to colour theme) and stylish table plan and name cards, all made the room look like a fairytale. Ellie was a dream to make arrangements with, communication was prompt and reliable. Couldn't be more happier with the service we received and we were delighted with the outcome. What a beautiful and unique venue! We could not have asked for more for our wedding day. Everything was fantastic from all the support planning to the on the day support and pack down, it all ran incredibly smoothly. We were also so impressed with the onsite accommodation. I loved our visit to the Thornbridge estate. As a keen gardener and first year allotment holder, I was inspired by the planting in the gardens. The different 'rooms', each with their own style were all a delight. I especially like the garden where vegetables and flowers were all planted together - and the bean arch! The staff were all very welcoming and the cafe was fab. On our next visit we'll tour the house. It was definitely worth the long journey over from Nottingham. Thank you.

Wonderful, wonderful place. Very much recommend a visit. Had wonderful tea in the cafe with staff who could not do more to help. The guy in the garden centre was so friendly and chatty, but Adam who took us around the house, was the icing on the cake and really made mums (&mine) day. We felt like friends being given a tour of a family home and I was half expecting him to offer to put the kettle on it was so friendly. I also got to meet and make friends with their puppy. Not many places where you’ll get that level of attention

Took myself here today for the first time...weather was poor...but what an amazing find...walked round the quirky gardens, saw the new love locks in place, had a coffee in the cafe where I was privileged to meet Emma the owner...all the staff were delightful...one of the new members of staff even carried a garden planter back to my car as I have a shoulder injury...I highly recommend here , will return and have already told friends...it felt almost magical...

A nice mill that's currently and constantly been upgraded and developed. It has a bar and small concert venue. You can sit outside enjoying a beer whilst overlooking the waterfall. It may not be Niagara Falls but it's still nice. Nice new tar Mac road and car park now as well.

Just got home after a lovely 4 nights stay in the fireman's house which had everything you need for a cosy stay,The torr tap bar just a few feet away from the house is dog friendly so really great to pop in for a bite to eat, perfect location with some great walks

A Hudden gem for those visiting the peaks. Very beautiful walks, with the combination of historical walks through our industrial past, and very clever modern engineering, with nature always in control. And a lovely little bar with very friendly staff located inside one of the Mills. I will definitely return.
