We paid most of our wedding costs some 11/12 months before it took place on May 30th 2023. But we had neglected room decoration, had not even thought about it until the manager of the reception venue asked who had we hired. So, we did a little research and were taken aback a little at how much these things cost. However, it was no contest really, White Petal easily topped our list, and are certainly not the most expensive. Dominique worked with us and was full of ideas to guide us. The room on the day, exceeded all of our expectations, and was worth every penny. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and the Hydrangea wall was a lovely touch that made for some beautiful photos. If we could do it all again (10th anniversary maybe?), then we wouldn't hesitate to hire Dominique and her team again. Thank you so much x

Dominique was brilliant!!!! from meeting us at the venue a few months prior, to the morning of the wedding and even after, Dominique was great. She really listened to everything we wanted (and helped us along the way when we didn't have a clue :)) The ceremony room and the reception room looked absolutely stunning!! and at the end of the night she spoke with us asking how the day had gone whilst helping to clear everything away! We used White Petal for our wedding near Christmas 2024. They were a great lot to deal with and we always had quick responses to any questions or ideas we had. They dressed the ceremony room which included the chair covers, bows, candles, petals etc as well the evening venue room with all the table decorations, candles, wreaths and Christmas bits dotted around. We also hired the giant love letters for the dance floor.

From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! As soon as we walked in to Haarlem Mill we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The aesthetic is just absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredible. Shannon made planning our wedding super easy and orderly. We used Haarlem for our reception, the staff were excellent meeting us at the door with drinks and canapés. The food was to die for, absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are all locally sourced which is such a nice touch and something we really appreciated. As soon as we walked in we knew that Haarlem was the perfect Venue for us. The building itself is beautiful and the layout works so well for a wedding held in one place. The bridal suite provides a perfect place for getting ready but also for a quiet place to gather yourself on the day. The food was incredible, the best food I have ever had at a wedding, and was so inclusive of everyone’s needs. Shannon was absolutely incredible from the start, always there to answer any questions and to make the process as smooth as possible . I can honestly say that I have had no stress from the day we booked the wedding up until the day itself. We got married in December 2024 and our day was so beyond magical. It exceeded anything either of us could have ever hoped for and we will forever grateful to the team at Haarlem for helping us achieve the day of our dreams.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial. The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough. The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. We were so impressed with the quality and wish we could eat there each week. If you want a beautiful wedding, outstanding staff, and fantastic food, book your wedding at Haarlem Mill.

After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

Our band played this wedding venue last night & it's absolutely gorgeous. Really welcoming staff and super "band friendly" venue too! Hope we get to come back soon!!

We got married at Swancar and it was the best decision we made. We viewed many venues but non were as spectacular as Swancar farm. We were lucky enough to have Rebecca as our wedding coordinator, from start to finish she was incredible. Her ability to coordinate, organise and arrange for our vision to come to life was amazing. Throughout our planning meetings Rebecca listened attentively, I felt reassured that the our special day was in good hands, nothing was ever too much of a problem. She really did take the stress away. The venue itself is stunning, from the stables, bridal suite, oak hall and breakfast area, we can’t fault a thing. All staff on the day were so friendly, lovely and attentive. The food was delicious, receiving many compliments from our guests. It truly was a spectacular day and we are so very grateful for Rebecca and the whole team on making this so very special. Thank you, Holly & Ryan x

Came here for a family wedding (surprise!) What a venue. Walked through the main doors into an open courtyard and then several reception rooms off the courtyard. Think it's 16th century from what I was told. Wooden beams everywhere and looks stunning. Everyone of the staff were 5 star from servers to bar staff..... Very polite and very helpful. We didn't stay overnight but saw a couple of the rooms which looked impeccable. Well thought out wedding venue and a great night to boot. Thank you all 👍💥👍

Had the most fantastic experience here last week for my daughters wedding. Everything from start to finish was unbelievable. From the setting of the wedding to the photos, food was amazing. Excellent all round from the staff in particular Tammy who have everything pinned down to the second.

If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee.
