We engaged with Mark to investigate a fault with our electrics which had been causing the fuses to trip. He completed a thorough diagnostic and took his time to ensure he identified the cause of the fault. He fitted us a new fuseboard and took considerable care to ensure he did a proper job and explained how it worked. Mark is both friendly and professional and we would have no hesitation recommending him.

Fantastic service! Rang late evening in a fluster because our new burglar alarm was going off and we didn’t have a code (just moved in!). Mark was so helpful and patient and talked us through how to disarm it. We will definitely be calling on his services once we have the code to reset it so he can put it back together!!! We used Mark for a full electrical rewire. As we were doing a full house renovation, we went through many electricians / quotes before choosing him (and we were very new to this). We chose Mark due to his professionalism and knowledge, as well as being friendly and approachable. He took time to answer any questions we had and gave us some very helpful tips. Nothing was ever too much and when we had last minute changes he was happy to accommodate. He was very careful with all the fixtures we provided, leaving the plastic covers on until we were ready to remove them post-renovation. Mark installed an EV charger for me and I found him to be friendly, trustworthy, polite and professional. His work was clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to find a tradesmen that fills you with confidence. He was not pressured by time constraints and made sure his work was complete and ensured a full understanding in handover. We recently had an alarm system fitted by Wayne and Spencer…and from start to finish we received a top class, reliable service. Nothing was too much trouble. Both had the time and patience to talk us through the new system and offer their time if we had any concerns once fitted. On top of this they were very respectful of our home ie wore shoe protectors, cleared each area as they went along, and we’re generally extremely polite and courteous…true gents. We will be calling on them again for some lighting, indoors and outdoors, in the near future.

I had a fault on my house alarm, I contacted Wayne at Shaw Electrical. He told me that they were working in the area, and would be with me as soon as they could. Ten minutes later Wayne and Spencer arrived. Within ten minutes they had found the fault and rectified the problem. They talked me through, what they had done, and also reprogrammed my keypad. I had Electrical Innovations out for a house alarm service. House alarm was beyond economical repair. I was given various options, went for the wireless system, provided with a quote and accepted. They turned up when they said they would, performed the job to the highest standard, took old alarm away and all the packaging from the new alarm. I was kept updated with arrival times via text message. Brad the technician cleaned up after himself, no mess was left. We were very impressed with the service provided. Once the alarm was installed, Brad went through everything with me, explained the settings and set up the app on our phones. Fantastic service, you get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed. Had 10 solar panels with a Tesla Powerwall3 battery fitted by Electric innovations , whole process was seamless from start to finish , was kept upto date on the installastion timings etc , arrived 8.30am and was all done dusted logged in to the app at 3.30pm by Ben and his team , since the work has been completed i have received various follow up emails and conversations to make sure i was happy with the work completed and if i needed any further assistance . I would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this company , very professional approachable and local , this is the second job they have done for me after installing my car charger 2 years ago as well. A totally professional company. From my initial contact with the company Ainsley sorted out a day and time for the repair of the kitchen extractor unit. Frazier arrived on time he was totally professional and polite unfortunately the kitchen extractor was not repairable. I ordered a new unit and again this was booked to be fitted. Neale was great from start to finish, he was able to provide advice on what options I have as well as a quote for the work very quickly and has done an excellent job of replacing my under cupboard kitchen lights. Great service from Power & Control, from quotation through to install. Daniel was informative and quick to provide a quote when requested. This was also amended with no quibbles when I decided on a Hypervolt charger instead. Dan also arranged an install date very quickly - I only had to wait a couple of weeks from accepting my quote. Andy who installed the charger is a really nice guy. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and high quality workmanship. The Hypervolt looks great and I cannot fault the install - extremely neat! I would highly recommend.

We were very happy with Derrick, he did a great job changing our fuse box, installing a CCTV camera and complete revision of the electricity and plugs and wherever he found something which required an attention he just fixed it. Very pleased for the service.

In Nov 19 Derek fitted a new fuse box for me, rewired my cooker, new outside up and down lights and new down lights internally in my lounge diner & kitchen, with dimmer switches. He planned and actioned everything in between other work I was having done to ensure there was no risk of getting plaster & paint on the new lights, meaning he had to drop in and out a few times. We found Derek to be friendly, efficient, knowledgable, responsive, he explained everything well and the results are great; we'd have no hesitation engaging him again or recommending him to friends.

Contacted Wayne with my problem and he sorted same even though it was somebody else's fault. It was a simple fix but he took care of us regardless. I highly recommend Wayne as being very professional at all times and explaining what was wrong with my system. Thank you for an outstanding job.

Wayne and his team have seen to all our electrical needs over many years. They are responsive, professional and all really pleasant people to have in the house. Last week Wayne arrived on time (with a smile), wore a face mask and removed his shoes before entering the house. The job he did on this occasion was to fit 3 new LED light fittings perfectly and efficiently. Part of a previous job he did for us was to supply and fit an outside LED light which unfortunately stopped working after only a few months as it was faulty - no worries! a quick phone call to Wayne and he appeared the same day and replaced the faulty light, so we know that his after service is brilliant to. Like others I was connected to James through Hypervolt. Can honestly say James was quick to respond, dealt with a small issue with the case really well (Hypervolt supplied a unit with a label that couldn’t be removed and a small scratch). I’d have no hesitation recommending James.

James and team installed solar panels, an EV charger, a domestic hot water heating system, and a solar battery system for me last year. They were totally professional and extremely helpful… and really nice guys to boot! 😊 James did all the design and calculations to specify a system for me which has proved to be ideal - it operates at pretty much optimum for my particular circumstances and property. My property has 3-phase electrics and I didn't want the battery inside the house, so James spent time with me assessing both my needs and concerns and didn't just try to install a 'standard' or 'simple' system for me as some other firms wanted to do simply because it was easier for them.
