A rapid response was received by this company who completed the installation of a new 10-way mains fuse box making way for an additional fridge freezer. A clean, neat professional job was completed in record time. Then, another piece of work involved access to the loft to provide connections for two pull cord switches in two further bedrooms. The creative use of trunking meant redecoration was not necessary. I would highly recommend this company for any domestic electrical work.

Patrick came out to my elderly Mum who was in great distress on New Year's Eve at 6pm! Everything fixed by 6.30. Reasonable prices and extremely professional. There was a storm and he even bought little waterproof socks to cover his wet shoes. Cannot praise him highly enough :)

I am very pleased with the service from Bulldog. They responded quickly to my initial enquiry and were courteous on the phone, email and in person. They turned up on time to replace a faulty socket and fit an exterior security light. The work looks good, especially the neat exterior cabling, and they tidied up after themselves. I would say that the price was very reasonable, especially considering how long it took to drill and cable the exterior light. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and would use again.

I had a fault on my house alarm, I contacted Wayne at Shaw Electrical. He told me that they were working in the area, and would be with me as soon as they could. Ten minutes later Wayne and Spencer arrived. Within ten minutes they had found the fault and rectified the problem. They talked me through, what they had done, and also reprogrammed my keypad. We have used Shaw Electrical on several occasions and they have never failed to provide an excellent service at a competitive price. We recently had an alarm system fitted by Wayne and Spencer…and from start to finish we received a top class, reliable service. Nothing was too much trouble. Both had the time and patience to talk us through the new system and offer their time if we had any concerns once fitted. On top of this they were very respectful of our home ie wore shoe protectors, cleared each area as they went along, and we’re generally extremely polite and courteous…true gents. We will be calling on them again for some lighting, indoors and outdoors, in the near future.

We wanted a bathroom fan fitting. Given our room specifications and needs, Wayne recommended an inline (in the loft space) approach controlled by a humidity sensor switch. The service was excellent. I used Hirst Electrical Services to carry out an EICR Report on a house I was looking to buy in Ilkeston. They were able to arrange to visit the house at the same time as the surveyor so there was little disturbance for the seller. Steve gave me a call on his way home to let me know the results and the report was with me a few days later. Great service from the team and I will use them again for any more work I need on my house.

I could not be more happy with my experience with AF E&M Contractors. Faz and Hassan came out promptly to my house last night on an emergency call. Not only did they complete their work quickly but I was most impressed by their behaviour. They understood it is a stressful time for my housemates and I, and could not have been better at reassuring us and being very friendly!! They arrived at approx 12:15am and despite how late it was and the fact they had came all the way from Derby to Manchester, they were both upbeat and courteous while in our house. I don’t leave many reviews but genuinely could not be happier with Faz and Hassan so felt it was only fair to leave an honest review to highlight them both!!

Wayne and the guys were amazing, even our dog liked them. Had solar panels and battery fitted. The installation was clean and looks great and were saving more than quoted even with our poor weather. Can't recommend enough.

Wayne and his team have seen to all our electrical needs over many years. They are responsive, professional and all really pleasant people to have in the house. Last week Wayne arrived on time (with a smile), wore a face mask and removed his shoes before entering the house. The job he did on this occasion was to fit 3 new LED light fittings perfectly and efficiently. Part of a previous job he did for us was to supply and fit an outside LED light which unfortunately stopped working after only a few months as it was faulty - no worries! a quick phone call to Wayne and he appeared the same day and replaced the faulty light, so we know that his after service is brilliant to. We would not choose anyone else to do any electrical work for us. He is very highly recommended.

Wayne was head and shoulders above the other specialist PV contractors we asked to quote to install solar panels and a storage battery. Wayne was able to answer all my questions during the quoting phase and he and his team were very diligent during the installation. From the outset I felt they were doing their very best for us, rather than a smash and grab - which was the impression I got from the other contractors we approached. Importantly it was Wayne I spoke to, rather than someone from 'sales'. Everything was well explained and after a few weeks of operation I'm really very happy with our system. If you are considering a solar-powered system then you won't be disappointed with Wayne. I'm glad we chose an electrician passionate about his craft rather than a 'pop-up' solar installation company that just want to get in and out.

Great service from Power & Control, from quotation through to install. Daniel was informative and quick to provide a quote when requested. This was also amended with no quibbles when I decided on a Hypervolt charger instead. Dan also arranged an install date very quickly - I only had to wait a couple of weeks from accepting my quote. Andy who installed the charger is a really nice guy. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and high quality workmanship. The Hypervolt looks great and I cannot fault the install - extremely neat! I would highly recommend.

Had a great service when having my ev charger fitted a few years ago. But for me the quality of a company is shown in their aftercare. While having an issue with my charger i rang up hoping they'd be able to get to me urgently within the coming days… 1 and a half hours later they were knocking at my door! Incredible service. The fault was with the charger and luckily it’s under warranty, so i will not hesitate to use these guys to come and swap it out for the new one.

It was a pleasure to find a tradesmen that fills you with confidence. He was not pressured by time constraints and made sure his work was complete and ensured a full understanding in handover. We used Mark for a full electrical rewire. As we were doing a full house renovation, we went through many electricians / quotes before choosing him (and we were very new to this). We chose Mark due to his professionalism and knowledge, as well as being friendly and approachable. He took time to answer any questions we had and gave us some very helpful tips. Nothing was ever too much and when we had last minute changes he was happy to accommodate. He was very careful with all the fixtures we provided, leaving the plastic covers on until we were ready to remove them post-renovation. Fantastic service! Rang late evening in a fluster because our new burglar alarm was going off and we didn’t have a code (just moved in!). Mark was so helpful and patient and talked us through how to disarm it. We will definitely be calling on his services once we have the code to reset it so he can put it back together!!! Mark gave us the confidence we needed to know he is an excellent electrician; he explained everything in detail and provided recommendations that were in our best interest and within our budget. Used Adam Hemsley electrical when my elderly father was experiencing an electrical fault in his home whilst I was at work and unable to get there. Adam attended promptly and managed to sort out the electrical fault that had left my father without power, which he depends on as he has multiple health and mobility issues. Adam also provided information on how we can resolve the issue to prevent further outages. Adam is extremely competent and also friendly. He made sure my father was comfortable and safe and made sure I was fully informed about the situation.
