Darren came at very short notice to provide us with a temporary solution to our burnt distribution board and then came in a few days time to instal a new replacement. Very professional and a pleasure to have in the house. Would thoroughly recommend.

After a competitive quote we employed Darren to install a wall switch and 2 outside lights. He listened to what we wanted and advised on where to buy the lights from for best quality and price. He arrived early on the day and worked efficiently to get the job done in the time frame. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and left the area spotless. He returned the following day to replace a faulty switch which was no problem at all. He made a neat job of the work carried out and did exactly what we asked for. I've just had probably the best on line trading experience since fax machines were useful! I bought some LED pendant lamps from Alert which have been fitted and working for some time now without problem. Then one decided not to work any more! I rang not really expecting too much and spoke to Hannah thinking I could maybe purchase a replacement part. Hannah leapt into action and arranged for the faulty lamp to be exchanged almost overnight at no cost to me. Such exemplary customer service is rare indeed nowadays and she must be highly commended for delivering such. C J Timms fitted our remote door opener and intercom. Our wiring was quite a mess, with the old data network mixed in with our new phone system. The old intercom needed removing also. They did a fantastic job, Jake was polite and very knowledgable. Highly recommended.

We have several rental properties and we first used C J Timms about a year ago. We found the staff and support staff to be of the highest quality and most of all reliable. C J Timms get all of our work now, highly recommended, and they aren't too bad on price either!

We have upgraded our overhead shop lighting, we were given lots of advice on what our options were. The installation took place during working hours but the lads were considerate and kept the mess and noise to a minimum. They were able to reuse some of our old lights to upgrade our workroom lights, keeping our costs to a reasonable level, but replaced with new what was needed. A great job, many thanks.

We have used Shaw Electrical on several occasions and they have never failed to provide an excellent service at a competitive price. The power to the sockets in one of our bedrooms failed this morning, Wayne responded within 20 minutes and quickly fixed the problem. Another crisis averted. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

We recently had an alarm system fitted by Wayne and Spencer…and from start to finish we received a top class, reliable service. Nothing was too much trouble. Both had the time and patience to talk us through the new system and offer their time if we had any concerns once fitted. On top of this they were very respectful of our home ie wore shoe protectors, cleared each area as they went along, and we’re generally extremely polite and courteous…true gents. We will be calling on them again for some lighting, indoors and outdoors, in the near future.

I had a fault on my house alarm, I contacted Wayne at Shaw Electrical. He told me that they were working in the area, and would be with me as soon as they could. Ten minutes later Wayne and Spencer arrived. Within ten minutes they had found the fault and rectified the problem. They talked me through, what they had done, and also reprogrammed my keypad.
