Steven did a great job of a new fuse box, earth spike, water and gas meter earthing and new cooker connections. Everything tested and done properly with certificates. Top bloke, great value, would definitely recommend.

From first enquiring about solar and our options regarding maximising the power/batteries etc, the team were excellent. There is no pressure at all and they even advised against extra panels as it would not give a benefit, other companies would sell you anything to increase the prices but Smart Homes don't. The work they did was outstanding and very considered in terms of dust generation and mess (hardly any mess at all but they asked if we could move our washing in just in case of any dust). The explanations and walkthrough about the system with the team once installed was again well considered. The communication either via phone or email is fast and they are happy to talk about anything to ensure your happy with your system. The installation team themselves are great, polite, helpful, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a solar system.

We would highly recommend Smart Homes Electrical. The installation of our solar panels was completed efficiently and quickly, the guys who did the job were a pleasure to have around our home and the internal work was completed with the absolute minimum of disruption. This company was introduced to us by friends in October. Tom Mastin, the professionalism and communications impressed from the start. After a few months of pause and mulling options we were being drawn to a Tesla Powerwall 2 PV solution and were disappointed that Smart Homes Electrical didn't offer that any more. Never mind we did have another reputable and local company in tow. Imagine our delight when a chance contact in mid March revealed that SHE had resumed fitting Tesla batteries. Tom visited on 18th March and we ended up with a quote for the 14 panels, Tesla Powerwall, EV charger plus micro inverters which optimise panel performance across the East and West roofs wonderfully and which we had not previously heard. Oh, and this was a better quote with a good saving too. The work was booked in for April 2nd and 3rd. Ben and team were knowledgeable, effective and totally tuned in with our needs By 4th our bird netting fitter has been too, Ben had returned to complete commissioning and we were up and running. SHE admin and support from Will and Amanda was equally good. Highly recommended for quality, service, sound advice, professionalism, reliability and value for money.

The team worked hard installing our solar /battery system despite the freezing temperatures in December and January. They were a friendly team and customer focussed. We would gladly have them back on site. The system is working well and generating some reasonable kwh so we should meet our proposed savings plan!

Searched around for a local electrician who installed home EV charges and came across Plexus Electrical. Michael was very informative in helping us choose the correct EV charger and arrived on time and was quick and tidy in his work. Michael also gave a run through the EV charger settings and set up along with sync the app. Great service and would definitely recommend them.

Jack completed the electrics in our front and rear extension. It was a pleasure having Jack around the house and he was very conscientious when completing the work. He also offered advice and potential improvements to our plans throughout the course of his works. I would highly recommend Jack if you need any electrical works completing.

Jack is really reliable and I recommend him all the time. He’s very patient when I’ve got dates wrong or changed my mind! I’ve worked with him in a work capacity on the renovation of an old mill (where he was asked to do unusual things for particular artist’s equipment and lighting and was great with the artists) and in my own home 🏠

Jack has done all the electrical work on our extension; a single story kitchen, utility and toilet. Jack came out as soon as we had the structure up and went though our needs. Jack is very organised, thorough in his planning and very tidy. He pays attention to detail, and also offered advice on things we’d not thought about. After the first fix, was wasn’t due to see Jack again until the second fix, but a slight change to the initial plan, and a need for heat and smoke alarms, and Jack managed to fit us in to install ahead of plastering. Jack also moved our consumer unit, and did a super neat job of that too, so we now have an up to date, safer consumer unit that is better suited to our needs. Before our kitchen was installed he called round to check everything once again and then as soon as our kitchen was in, Jack returned to finish off the second fix. Jack was happy to do some additions for us, and it never felt like anything was too much for him. He even did some restorative work for us that wasn’t really within his remit, but he wanted it looking right. On top of his professionalism he genuinely one the nicest lads I’ve met, arrives when he say he will and leaves it very tidy. Thank you so much.

After being recommended them by a close friend, I decided to reach out to Vokes Electrical for a quote for changing all of the lighting in my house to down-lights. I had a rough idea of which lights I wanted and where I wanted them positioned within each of the rooms, and of the 4 companies that came to see the house the guy from Vokes (Jack) was the only only person that actually sat down with me and went over the finer details of where I'd like the lights positioned and provided feedback from his professional point of view, even going so far as to get out a laser level to show me where he thought I should place the lights - as a result, I ended up being able to remove 3 down-lights from the project and 2 of my rooms now look a lot better than they otherwise would of. He managed to finish the whole house in 2 days, was a really pleasant guy to speak to and even went as far as recommending me a specific generation of Philips Hue bulb because they didnt stick out as much as the older (cheaper) version I was looking at buying, which had he of not warned me, would of been an expensive mistake for me to make.

John and his team recently replaced a fire alarm system in a HMO (house in multiple occupation), to bring it up to standard for the local licensing authority. The work was carried out to a very high standard, and up to date certification provided. JP Electrical will now be doing all our work!

John is a very reliable and trustworthy. He is a very good electrician with years of experience and so I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I would highly recommend this company Loscoe Electrical; they have undertaken an array of electrical work for me in my house renovation projects from electrical work for Bathroom, Kitchen, mood lighting, outside lighting, fans, etc. I have had other companies previously work on my home and this company absolutely outperforms them. Their standard of work is superb and of the highest quality, their staff - Ed, Pat & Danny are very capable, friendly and make sure they leave the job with a clean finish. We are in the process of moving house, and needed our EV charger removed from our old property. Contacted Loscoe Electrical, my husband had long seen their van around and always commented on how clean and professional it looked, so was the first person he contacted. Came back to us super fast with a quote and date and we booked in. Removal of the charger was super fast and efficient, really friendly and got the job done efficiently! I had Scott come to me to rewire the TV to be mounted on the wall. He was excellent. Friendly, tidy and when there was a slight mishap with the buildings wiring which knocked of the Internet and he came back the next day and rectified it for me. I can’t fault Scott and his buddy. Turned up on time, looked at and then did the job which was brilliant as I thought he'd go away and price it up first. Did a really good job, and very tidy as well, he obviously thinks a lot about the aesthetics and advises you if he feels the wiring will look a bit messy and comes up with alternatives. Really pleased and would recommend him.

Amazing service tonight from Nathan at Harris. Phoned Nathan at 2030 this evening after having issues with our fuse board and he arrived at our property within 20 minutes in good spirit, un effected and ready to crack on which I personally thought was above and beyond for starters after learning he had a newborn daughter at home. Nothing was too much or too little for Nathan and he is retuning out of hours tomorrow to replace the fuse board. A very humble chap with a with a lot of care and knowledge to spread. Would 100% recommend and we will 100% use again, and from now on. Many thanks Nathan, you have really put our minds at ease.

Booked Harris Electrical in for CNS Media who came in and fitted some additional floor boxes as well as linking up some RJ45 ports from the floor boxes into our comms cabinet. He went out of his way to work out of hours to ensure noise was kept to a minimum and to not disrupt the working day. Couldn't have asked for better service and would definitely recommend to anybody else.

Can’t rate this guy highly enough. I had a bit of a late night electrical emergency with my main fuse box tripping, power off all over the house and two very unhappy children. Other places I rang were happy to come out and charge a call out fee but the lovely bloke at Harris Electrical talked me through some trouble shooting and I was able to restore power. Good old fashioned professionalism and honesty and they’ve won a new customer next time I have an issue. Would highly recommend.
