Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. My son has just achieved a 5 in his GCSE maths (which is the highest in his foundation level) after being a 3 in his mocks. We used Joanne from advantage tuition on a 1-2-1 basis for an hour every week from mocks to GCSE and my son actually said he didn’t mind maths at the end when he did not like it all all previously. My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. My son attended Tuition Academy Maidstone for a year prior to taking his Kent test and Medway tests. The tuition and homework levels were perfectly pitched, my son felt supported whenever he had questions and he really liked his tutor. The holiday classes and mock tests available certainly helped him prepare for the final tests which he successfully passed.

We enrolled for 11 plus English classes with Rosy as my son was good in other subjects. Rosy is an exceptional tutor. My Daughter went to set4success for 11+ tuition and passed this year. Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. She also provides homework so that a structure can be maintained throughout the week. My daughter really looked forward to her lessons. Would highly recommend Rowena.

I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! We then had some sessions during the summer holiday to get ready for the final day. My daughter passed the Kent test! I would like to thank Jeni for all the feedback and help she provided. Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable. Our son not only didn't complain about her tutoring sessions but actively looked forward to them! We were quite late to discover Jeni but I'm so grateful we did - she's been an absolute game-changer and I can't recommend her enough.

A rare find; if you are looking for a reputable tutor, I cannot recommend Sunnydene enough! I have complete faith in Jeni’s understanding of the system and test papers. Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.
