What a wonderful place. We recently held a baby shower here for my sister and Dean and the team were absolutely great. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a little room to ourselves for the afternoon and ordered a selection of pizzas and sides as a buffet style, which were all delicious. The pub itself is absolutely stunning with so many unique old features. Great outside areas for when the sun is shining. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting or thinking of a unique venue for a special event.

Dropped in for a glass of wine as we were in the area for a meeting. Such a beautiful building inside and out and received a lovely warm welcome from Dean and his team. It was so relaxing and cosy that we decided to book dinner later that weekend. Our dinner was beautiful and the service was impeccable, we would highly recommend. Will be going back for a roast soon. Elham is so lucky to have this in their village.

My partner and i are near for the weekend and decided to come here for dinner. First impressions the whole place was beautifully decorated for christmas and overall had a very cosy feeling. All staff very friendly and welcoming, Dean our server was very attentive and made sure everything was okay for us. Food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious, one of the best steak and ale pies we’ve had. Definitely worth the visit and would massively recommend!!!!

A lovely welcome from the team at Abbot's Fireside when arrived after a long walk from Canterbury. Our room was perfect and a hot bath much appreciated. The cooked breakfast was just what we needed before we set off again the next morning. Thank you.

My girlfriend and I came down south for the weekend just for a get away and wanted to go somewhere close to the accommodation for food. We found Abbots fireside and saw pictures of the food and had to go there. As expected the food was amazing. I had the steak and ale pot pie and my girlfriend had the curry. The pie was insanely good, and dare I say the best pie I had ever had. Dean our server and owner of the place was lovely and gave us all the attention we needed. 10/10 would 100% recommend coming here!!
