A true gem! Superbly prepared and presented fresh seafood. Everything was delicious, particularly the lobster roll and crevette. With the unique Dungeness landscape as backdrop, this is a must-visit spot for lunch. Thanks, guys.

We visited The Snack Shack after a friend’s recommendation and reading promising reviews. We certainly weren’t disappointed. We were lucky to visit on a sunny day, which added to the experience. As the name suggests, it really is a small shack, and the facilities are simple but clean, including a basic toilet at the back. There isn’t much parking nearby, so I’d recommend arriving early or being prepared to walk about 10 minutes from the main car park. By 11 am, it was already getting busy, but the atmosphere remained relaxed. We ordered the Lobster Roll (£15.50), which initially felt a bit steep, but it was packed with lobster, as you can see from the photo. That said, I actually preferred the Fisherman’s Roll—the fish was warm, fresh, and more satisfying overall. We also had a tea and a water, and the total came to just over £30. While the quality of the fish was excellent, the rolls left us wanting a little more. I would’ve liked some extra sauce or toasted rolls for added texture, but I understand that may not be to everyone’s taste. Overall, it was a lovely lunch that could be elevated in a few areas. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area on a nice day.

The gem of Dungeness ! We walked for two hours from littlestone- 12 of us, unfortunately when we got there an hour before closing they had stopped taking new orders due to it being busy. The team very kindly let us order and we were very happy to wait. Thank you so much! The food was delicious and well needed after our walk . I really enjoyed the fish roll. Reasonably priced and delicious. The lobster was a bit pricey but also excellent. Drinks were canned and not too cold on a warm day. Fairly long wait for the food but the signage gave a clear warning that the kitchen was at full capacity, so not something to complain about.

Awesome lunch at the Snack Shack in Dungarees. Bit of a wait but the weather was nice so not an problem. Would have liked a garlic mayo or something to dip the amazing spuds in. Lobster was lovely as well as the salad.
