A big shout out to Mark for his help. My elderly father was recently visited by a locksmith from another part of Kent after having his home broken into. After seeing the bill I was concerned about how much it cost. I contacted Porters to get their opinion on the invoice. Sadly he confirmed that the costs were indeed excessive and unnecessary. Mark was so kind providing info and even offered to visit my Dad to check the lock free of charge! Within 4 hours he was there. He took the lock off to discover that the 'cowboy' locksmith had not even changed one of the parts he charged over £150 for. Whilst this has been a horrible situation for us, it has been made that much better by Mark and his fantastic work ethic. Now we have the facts, we can move forward with a stronger case to Trading Standards If ever we need a locksmith in future, I will be using Porters Locksmiths. Thank you so much

Porters were the only trader to offer me a free quotation and actually come and view our works before completing. Lead time was very reasonable, no hidden costs. Work was carried out very efficiently, Mark did a fantastic job and we were very pleased with the results. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I called Micheal at 5.30pm when he had just got home after a long day. However, he still came out to me immediately to fix my broken lock, swiftly and without fuss and was happy to trust me to pay later, after sending an invoice by email. Very good service. I chose Michael based on his positive manner and energy on the phone. He just sounded like somebody I would feel comfortable inviting into my home. My instincts proved to be right! It was not the first time that I met Mike. He was also used by my previous landlord in the past, hence I didn't hesitate to ring Mike when I had to change our door lock. I had a remote key where one of the buttons was coming apart and I saw Nic’s Replace My Car Key company advert on a Facebook group. Nic did an excellent job of replacing my existing key fob with a folding one. The quality of the key fob is great and feels robust. Price was £160. It was £185 for a standard non folding replacement from Mercedes. I would definitely use Nic again and would highly recommend him.

I messaged Nic last night as my key had snapped off the key fob. Nic responded straight away and was very helpful. He came out to me this morning and fixed my keys for me (as my spare was broken too ) he communicated well and was also very reasonably priced. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Absolute life saver! Called at 6:50pm and had a lovely guy out to me by 7:20 we was into my car within minutes. My son has medical needs so having a car is a necessity to transfer him in time to get help. So having someone who picked the phone up and came straight to me was amazing. John is a local Ashford Kent locksmith. Our front door lock had broken out of normal working hours. John arrived very quickly to my house in Ashford and replaced the broken lock with a new one with 5 spare keys. Less that an hour since I called him we had a new lock fitted. Thank you John. We had incredible service from John on a Sunday with a key jammed in our lock. He arrived within 10mins of speaking to him, was able to very quickly solve it and didn’t charge us despite us offering and the inconvenience for him of coming to our house. He offered advice to help avoid the problem in the future too. A real class act and you’re in very good hands with John. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Amazing service, I called at 8pm and Joe met me 45 minutes later, he didn't have the appropriate lock so instead of waiting until the following day he went to the shop and came back and fitted a new lock at a very fair price. We are having renovation work to the rear of our house and two old outside door Chubb locks were seized solid. Hastings Locksmiths were able to send someone round the next day (James) and it took him around an hour to get the locks out and replace them. Fast and excellent service, thoroughly recommended!
