I phoned in the evening to ask if Cutting Edge Locksmith could fix my UPVC front door not locking (which is obviously an emergency matter), and he arrived within an astonishing 20 minutes. 5 star service from Harry at Cutting Edge. Arrived the morning after we moved in to change 4 locks. Plus he was able to sort out a French door that we just could not get open. He charged a total of £140 including labour and he was with us for about 90 minutes. He returned a few days later to fix the seal on one of our windows that was letting in draught and traffic noise. Harry is a great young business owner and he has our full recommendation 👍👍

Nick certainly ticks all the boxes. He arrived promptly at the arranged time and was both courteous and workmanlike. He had a suitable new lock and, although it was difficult to take out the old lock, he soon had the new lock fitted He made no mess and removed all bits and pieces not required. We had gotten ourselves locked out on a stormy Sunday night and must have spent 2 hours calling at least 8 different locksmiths before finding Nick. Nick arrived at the property within 20 minutes and gotten us within the house within 10! After getting us is Nick even gave us some fantastic advice on the property and some recommendations. Our only regret was not ringing Nick first! Would highly recommend.

Nicky was brilliant - would 100% recommend. We contacted him on a Saturday afternoon, he was with us by Sunday to give an honest opinion & quote on what needed doing. I lost my only car key to my Ford fiesta. I rang PRO AUTO LOCKSMITH 🚘 They were very professional from the moment that they answered the phone. Had a problem with my front door lock, Messaged Paul and he responded instantly, gave me such great information and options over the phone as he knew what the exact fault was, It shows how honest Paul is because he advised me I didn’t need to go for the most expensive option and the cheaper option would work just as well. I contacted Paul as my front door wasn't latching shut properly. He came to take a look the same day, and explained clearly both the problem and my options, including costs. And having sourced the replacement lock we agreed on, he returned and installed it a few days later. Friendly, efficient service and with explanations that made sense to a non-technical person - I highly recommend him.

My bathroom window would not close which meant we could not leave the house until it was resolved. I contacted Scott and he immediately knew what the problem was. We’ve just moved into a new home and wanted our front door locks replace so we wanted a local locksmith and we found A Short locksmith who was brilliant from the start sent a email saying what we wanted and got a reply straight away. A young gentleman came out unfortunately I didn’t catch a name but he done a fantastic job and he was very quick and gave advise on our locking system which was very interesting. Absolutely no issues with this service, person who came was lovely and replaced locks either like-for-like or changed them slightly on request (wanted front door to be lockable from the inside without a key, so now we can turn something instead of having to go and find our keys to answer the door!) also gave lots of spares.

Extremely friendly and helpful chap on the phone who was able to book me in for the same week to attend to a door that wouldn’t lock. Mikey, the chap that did the call out was equally friendly, and was courteous and efficient in his work. He pulled the lock apart and found a wayward screw jammed in the mechanism, fixed it, and put everything back together in the time it took me to fold a load of laundry. He also did a tune up of the other door we had which was working fine, but is now even better. I would not hesitate to use him again, though I hope I will not need to!
