A big shout out to Mark for his help. My elderly father was recently visited by a locksmith from another part of Kent after having his home broken into. After seeing the bill I was concerned about how much it cost. I contacted Porters to get their opinion on the invoice. Sadly he confirmed that the costs were indeed excessive and unnecessary. Mark was so kind providing info and even offered to visit my Dad to check the lock free of charge! Within 4 hours he was there. He took the lock off to discover that the 'cowboy' locksmith had not even changed one of the parts he charged over £150 for. Whilst this has been a horrible situation for us, it has been made that much better by Mark and his fantastic work ethic. Now we have the facts, we can move forward with a stronger case to Trading Standards If ever we need a locksmith in future, I will be using Porters Locksmiths. Thank you so much

Mark was quick to call out to see us about a window with a broken lock. He was smart and tidy, polite, efficient and did a good job. Much appreciated. We would definately call upon his services again and certainly recommend him.

Extremely friendly and helpful chap on the phone who was able to book me in for the same week to attend to a door that wouldn’t lock. Mikey, the chap that did the call out was equally friendly, and was courteous and efficient in his work. He pulled the lock apart and found a wayward screw jammed in the mechanism, fixed it, and put everything back together in the time it took me to fold a load of laundry. He also did a tune up of the other door we had which was working fine, but is now even better. I would not hesitate to use him again, though I hope I will not need to!

We’ve just moved into a new home and wanted our front door locks replace so we wanted a local locksmith and we found A Short locksmith who was brilliant from the start sent a email saying what we wanted and got a reply straight away. A young gentleman came out unfortunately I didn’t catch a name but he done a fantastic job and he was very quick and gave advise on our locking system which was very interesting. Absolutely no issues with this service, person who came was lovely and replaced locks either like-for-like or changed them slightly on request (wanted front door to be lockable from the inside without a key, so now we can turn something instead of having to go and find our keys to answer the door!) also gave lots of spares.

I have just used Maidstone locksmiths for the first time to help get into some storage containers, whose padlock keys had gone missing. I was very impressed with John's work. He and a collegue attended our premises quite promptly and manged to cut/break into the 4 padlocks without damaging our premises. His invoice was a very reasonable price too.

Amazing service, I called at 8pm and Joe met me 45 minutes later, he didn't have the appropriate lock so instead of waiting until the following day he went to the shop and came back and fitted a new lock at a very fair price. John is a local Ashford Kent locksmith. Our front door lock had broken out of normal working hours. John arrived very quickly to my house in Ashford and replaced the broken lock with a new one with 5 spare keys. Less that an hour since I called him we had a new lock fitted. Thank you John. We had incredible service from John on a Sunday with a key jammed in our lock. He arrived within 10mins of speaking to him, was able to very quickly solve it and didn’t charge us despite us offering and the inconvenience for him of coming to our house.
