Jamie put up a flatpack wardrobe and did another couple of odd jobs for me. He was quick and efficient, as well as polite and extremely tidy. Would highly recommend and I will be using Jamie again when the need arises. 5 star service.

We are so happy with the experience and results of our renovation. Ben and his team were wonderful and a real pleasure to work with, even with the difficulties and disruptions of lockdown. Ben was always communicative, worked within our budget, and offered excellent advice and suggestions that really added the perfect finishing touches to the project. We have been working with Ben and the All in One team for nearly 6 years. In that time we have used almost every trade and service they have to offer - painter, electrician, plumber, builder, carpenter, tiler, roofer, and floor fitter. If we get their landscapers in we'll finally have the full set! Without fail, every job has been completed to an impressively high standard and each tradesperson has been polite, on time, thorough, tidy and respectful. The most recent job - a full kitchen renovation - was no exception to the incredible service we've always recieved. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and everyone on site was dedicated to making sure that what was in our head or on paper became a reality. A very special thank you to Lee who was on site almost every day and always arrived with a smile and ready to get going (once he'd said hello to the dog, who is now totally in love with him). And all managed smoothly by Ben and Jon, who make these projects as stress free as they can possibly be. Kudos to Jon for being there at 7am to take delivery of the units when we were out of town. The project covered every room in my apartment and involved a vast number of different trades and suppliers. I had a lot of confidence in Ben from the start as he listened carefully and made many helpful suggestions before putting together the brief. I moved out for six weeks to enable most of the work to be completed without hindrance. The work involved a complete refit of the entire kitchen and bathroom (including installing a walk in shower and resitting the toilet cistern), installation of a new boiler and radiators throughout, bespoke wardrobes, cabinets and workstation in the bedrooms from floor to ceiling, bespoke fitted units in the sitting room, new carpeting/ flooring throughout, fitting of new fire and new blinds, new skirting and architraves, new secure back door, removal of false wall and replacement of some doors, plastering of walls where necessary, new light and switch fittings and complete painting of walls, ceilings, doors and new units. The work that has been done is of an exceptionally high standard. I cannot praise enough the professionalism and care that has been taken at each stage. I now have a completely new home that I can enjoy in the knowledge that the work has been done properly and there are no hidden problems awaiting me. Ben communicated with me at every stage, checking decisions that needed to be made, explaining progress and keeping me fully informed. He is a joy to be around, handling all of the hassles that inevitably occur with good humour and always keeping the job moving. He is clearly very respected by everyone he deals with. Lee and Aaron did an amazing job with all of the painting, the finish on the units is superb. Danny created a bathroom that looks and works brilliantly and was great at sorting out various issues including my badly sticking front door. Adrian built some fantastic furniture which really elevates each room and completes the new look. As I said, I cannot praise highly enough the standard and professionalism of everyone involved. They were all a delight to deal with and it is very clear to me that employing Ben and his team and suppliers was the best decision I could ever have made.

We used All in One Home Services for the renovation of our kitchen. We had a wall taken down, and had to replace the flooring, with new windows and doors being fitted. Everything in the kitchen was changed and the chimney breast which we initially wanted removed as it was in the middle of the room, turned out to become one of the main features of the new kitchen renovation with a bespoke unit covering the chimney breast. It transformed something that we were going to get rid of tried to into a great feature. That was Ben’s idea. Ben came up with other ideas which we wouldn’t have thought of, and we have ended up with a fantastic kitchen with lots of really exciting features. He talked us through the whole process and ensured that the renovation caused us as little stress as possible. Ben’s workmen worked really hard, and were always punctual and well mannered. They always left the place tidy at the end of each day and even went the extra mile, like swapping a faulty door handle in our downstairs WC with a working one from a door we were getting rid of, stapling down our fake grass after cleaning up the saw dust and even making me three large chopping boards out of off-cuts of my left-over worktop (once they learnt of my obsession with chopping boards! Thanks Jon). I was particularly impressed that when the majority of the works had finished and they moved onto the next project, the decorators still turned up to finish off the little snagging bits, like touching up, fitting a missing cupboard knob and even cleaning my windows and wiping down my kitchen cupboards. Their professionalism was reassuring. We can’t recommend Ben and his men highly enough for any kind of home improvements. The work was completed on time, on budget, and to a very high level. If we have any more work done then we will definitely use All In One again.

I cant fault Lesters at all, They came to Blackpool in February 2019 and totally transformed my Hotel. The quality of workmanship has been admired by other hotel owners in the street, Glenn and his teams are first class in what they do and carried out all works to the highest standards. His office staff where also helpful, friendly, and kept me informed at all times and nothing was too much trouble. In August 2019, I contacted Glenn to ask if he would carry out some roof repairs, I gave details over the phone and via email and he was here doing the job within a week. I am happy to highly recommend Glenn and Lesters Builders ( my hotel website does this. ), This building firm with Glenn at the helm is FIRST CLASS

Lesters undertook a 7 month project to extend, reconfigure and renovate our 1940’s house. Glenn provided valuable expertise and vision to help us throughout the project, including the provision of architectural options and building plans via Pump House Designs to support our planning application. We took the decision not to move out during the works, so Lesters sourced a large secure container in which to store the majority of our furniture and possessions on-site. This was a very cost-effective solution to our storage issues, providing easy access to our belongings at all times. Use of a JCT Contract provided a straightforward process to oversee the project, and provided detailed information in plain English for us to understand. Sarah and Jacquie were very efficient and always available in the office to answer or forward questions as required. Lesters’ flexible approach enabled us to vary our requirements as the project progressed, including the addition of pocket doors to an existing room, together with enlarging our hallway, whilst managing to complete the works on schedule. Unforeseen problems are inevitable in a project of this size but were always dealt with promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution. We now have an additional bedroom, 2 en-suites, new bathroom, utility room, open plan kitchen diner and all rooms were completely redecorated. A new porch, beautifully crafted from oak, together with a solid wood front door has added to the kerb appeal and generates many positive comments from passers-by. The house also has a new heating system, was rewired, LED lighting was added and our badly worn external hanging tiles were replaced. The level of thermal insulation was improved throughout to reduce our carbon footprint. Glenn, Steve and the team were professional, polite, tidy and friendly at all times and all work was finished to a high standard. We are delighted with the end result and it feels like we are living in a different house. We would highly recommend Lesters and their team of expert support professionals.

Choosing a builder is an important decision, as the workforce will share your house for a number of months, and how they deal with you and respect your property is important. For two years prior to commissioning a builder, I watched with interest the many conversion that were taking place in my street and the surrounding area. What become clear to me as I watched progress and speaking to the owners is that a number of builders did not respect the property and left a mess in the front of the house that the owners had to navigate every day. One of the local builders that carried out work at four of the houses locally left the jobs incomplete for many months and left a mess in the front garden that was there for all to be seen. They were too busy chasing the next commission to finish the job, snag it and tidy up. I asked three builders to provide a quote and it was informative how they went through the process and how slow or fast that they responded to requests for clarification. Lesters is small/medium builder, owned by Glen and Sarah who gave me excellent service, a great finished product at a competitive price. The works which comprised structural changes to the ground floor with the walls being knocked down and new openings for doors and windows being created. They created a huge kitchen/diner and new utility room and toilet out of the former garage re-configuring the rooms , creating space and light into a part of the house that previously was not pleasant to spend time apart from cooking. The new kitchen is now at the heart of the house where we spend a lot of time and the bi-fold doors have created a new space into the garden. The rooms have the wow factor. These changes were brought about by the tradesmen and craftspeople that worked for Lesters. They were brilliant not only because of the high quality of their work, which is what you are hopping for, but more importantly they were a pleasure to have in the house. This sounds bizarre to say where they are knocking walls down and creating dust and mess. But it is how they controlled the mess with dust sheets and other measures, the fact that the cleaned up every day making sure that the house and the front of the garden was felt tidy at the end of the day. All of the craftsmen were polite and helpful: not a surely or rude individual amongst them. Chris, Tommy, Alan, Des and Max all offered the benefit of their experience by suggesting changes that enhanced the build and its look. The result is a kitchen that is just great. The other issue is that the project management and control of the trades was excellent. Each trade followed on , one after another without unnecessary delays. My friends who had similar work carried out by a different builder experienced long delays where no activity was taking place and no continuity of work due to poor planning and the lack of trades. The credit for the smooth running must go to Steve, their project manager, and Glen who manged the project and kept us informed throughout the build, always ringing back and answering queries. They also anticipated issues and by taking positive action the build process went very smoothly. Finally the team were supported at their office by Sarah and Jacquie who provided great backup by passing on message and getting issues resolved before they become problems. I got a great build at a good price where the end product is a quality kitchen extension that is just great. There were few or no complications and the house and garden was always left clean and tidy. The tradesmen were all good. Thanks you Lesters. Would I recommend them? Yes without doubt
