This garage thoroughly deserves its 5 star rating and I can understand why they are busy. The engineer took the time to listen to my symptoms of the fault and, following investigation, provided an explanation of what work was required and a "worse case" cost estimate to repair. Unlike most garages, who charge just to diagnose the likely fault, this garage only charges for repairs undertaken and only after providing an estimate and agreeing the work with the customer.

A rare gem, that’s Jim Litchfield’s! Extremely professional, exceptional value with exemplary work, all wrapped in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They care about their work, your custom and providing great service. I can’t recommend them enough! 5 Stars all the way!

Fab bunch of people at HiQ Tunbridge Wells; knowledgeable, honest and efficient. Having been told, a few years ago, by a different garage I needed a lot of work doing on my car, I popped to see Keith and gang for a second opinion where I was informed that I didn't need half of the work that had been suggested. I do not go anywhere else now!

My commercial Mercedes van was declared a mechanical write off - no one could fix it - faced with buying a new van, I was recommended to take it to Choice as a ‘last chance’. Not only did they manage to repair it, they did it for minimal cost ! I have had 2 very positive experiences with G&R since the beginning of the year. Both pretty big and stressful issues with my car, but they are super professional and work fast. Their rates are good and they probably are the nicest guys in the game. I would 100% recommend them. PS: I found them after asking for recommendations on Tunbridge Wells community Facebook page. The excellent reviews and recommendations for G&R were overwhelming and they did not disappoint.

This garage went above and beyond to get to the bottom of my dpf error code they kept me updated every step, after having problem with a previous garage this garage restored all my faith and I will certainly be using them from now on for any of my car repairs, servicing and mot I have had the car back about a 3 weeks now and is driving like new 💯 recommended

I have used Mereworth Motors several times over the years and have always had very friendly and reliable service. Having owned newer cars (still under warranty) more recently I had been going to main dealers but due to needing a collect and return service asap I thought I would head back to Mereworth and see if they could help. The fact that they can do the same work as main dealers for the service schedule means I’ll look to use them more often and won’t affect my warranty. Great communication, collection and return of your car is efficient and worked around me needing to do the school run as well today. Thank you so much for making this hassle free.

Found the customer service second to none. Completely beat all the other garages we have been to in recent years. It’s never nice when cars go wrong, particularly around Christmas time and when you have little people to think of(!) but they seemed trustworthy and keen to keep the costs down for us. We really appreciate the excellent customer service we received, in an era where that is becoming more and more rare. We will certainly only be using them for our cars in the future. Finally a garage we can recommend to others!

From the moment I parked and was met with a smiling face in the car park directing me into reception, I was reassured that Mereworth had a warm atmosphere. The reception area was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated , a far cry from most car mechanic places I’ve been ! A very pleasant young man was very courteous and we exchanged details . From that time everything ran smoothly, considerations were shown for my profound deafness and my daughter was kept informed of the cost and the progress of my car. Due to the darkness , it was suggested by Rachel that a home delivery next day would perhaps be more helpful for me , this I appreciated and my car was brought to me the following morning . Everything that Mereworth staff did was above and beyond and I can’t praise them enough , thank you .

Mereworth Motors provided us with exceptional service. Both my wife and I work long hours so Mereworth provided a free pick up and drop off service which meant we could simply go to work and the transport of the car for the MOT and Service was dealt with and we didn't have to worry about it. After my car fully breaking down, Lloyd really helped me out. Not only did he let me leave my car on his forecourt as I had no where to put it and it wouldn’t drive, he did his absolute best to get the car fixed and back to me asap as I’m reliant on it for my job. Super friendly and very trustworthy with great communication. Being new to the area he is now going to be my chosen garage if I ever have any issues.

I never really write reviews, but after the perfect service I received from Lloyd and his team, I felt rude not to. Lloyd was an absolute pleasure to deal with, from start to finish. I am not a car man, but he was very clear in communicating what needed to be done and why. The price was very good, with his team working very quickly on a Saturday to fix my car. I will use Lloyd and his team again, and cannot recommend him enough to anyone in the area.

A few days ago I was lucky enough to discover Rex's Auto Repairs. I had taken my car to a dealer in Tonbridge, paid £150 for a diagnostic test to sort out the heating. Three hours later, I was told the problem could not clearly be identified but I still had to pay the fee before I would be able to go ahead and spend more money in the hope of (maybe) getting it sorted. I gave up and went straight to Rex's instead, having seen great reviews. I had no appointment but someone (Henri?) very kindly came to look at my car and within less than five minutes, the heating had been sorted while I waited - and I wasn't charged!! What a complete contrast - first class service, expert knowledge and immediate result. I heartily recommend this garage. I certainly won't be going back to any rip off dealerships again!

Having moved to Tonbridge a month ago, I was nervous about looking for a good garage for a service and MOT. Rex Auto repairs have been excellent with their service every time. Sharon is so lovely, patient, and helpful. She is as friendly when you meet her as she is over the phone.
