Very welcoming atmosphere at the coffee shop clear repeated customers coming in and their orders were known by the employees. Very pleasant experience. All the paninis are made fresh to order. Paninis and cakes that I ordered were all of high quality and service was quick and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Very friendly spot for a snack before touring Canterbury. To this American tourist it felt very welcoming and part of a local neighborhood instead of a too-busy, in-and-out, grab-and-go place you might find in town. Besides, we discovered Mr. Blobby!

Everything about this Practice is excellent. I have been a patient there for many years, over 20 of which have been with dental surgeon Ian Small who is brilliant. Additionally, my hygienist Christina is first rate, and all the nursing and reception staff are always very professional, friendly and helpful.

I have been going to St Dunstan's for 3 years and have found them to be on the whole, very professional. Dr Batti, my dentist is a skilled dental surgeon who has produced good work on my teeth. This last time, I needed a tooth rebuilt and the result was fantastic. Cosmetically beautiful, it is a robust addition to my dental assemblage. Although professional, he is conversationally engaging and has a good sense of humour.

I’ve been a patient at St Dunstan’s Dental Practice for some time now, and I’m incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I’ve received. After Martin Kelleher, the senior consultant dentist for restorative dental treatment at Kings College Hospital London, retired from private practice, he highly recommended Ian Small at St Dunstan’s. I couldn’t be more pleased with this recommendation. Ian is always thorough, considerate, and takes the time to explain his treatment plan in detail, ensuring I feel fully informed and comfortable throughout each visit. In addition to Ian, Sam, the hygienist, has also been fantastic. She is efficient, thorough, and the attention to detail in her work is excellent and I always feel well cared for. The reception staff are consistently friendly and helpful, making scheduling appointments and addressing any concerns a smooth and pleasant experience. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care at St Dunstan’s Dental Practice and would highly recommend the practice to anyone seeking top-notch dental care.

After an absolutely shocking poor level of service and communication from a different private dentist it was a huge relief to find the St Dunstans Practice. In particular, all the receptionists, dental nurses and Dr Surinder have gone out of their way to accommodate us. Perhaps most importantly there has been clear concise communication resulting in real trust leading to excellent outcomes and some very timely pre Christmas treatment. Apologies for accidentally only giving a one star review first time...5 star is order of the day....

I have recently registered with this dental practice after a very traumatic registration and appointment with one closer to my home. I am a very nervous patient when it comes to Dentists and I think the last one I registered with and ended up cancelling my next appointment with left me with such anxieties I can't explain. I attended my registration and check up with this practice yesterday and the staff were so friendly upon arriving, I felt a little at ease when I got in to the waiting room just by the receptionist, then the Dentist came out and called me in, he was so friendly and calming and I felt so at ease from the time I got in there, I was a little tense to start with but both the Dentist and his nurse were so kind, reassuring and professional and I was so grateful to them both and the front of house staff for making my first visit such a relaxed one. I feel I have definitely chosen the best Dental Practice to be with and look forward to having future visits with the knowledge that I am at ease and around a friendly professional service. Thankyou so very much to all the staff and also all the great reviews on here which lead me to deciding to register with this practice. I would highly recommend registering as the ease of process was amazing, I'd give this eternal stars if I could.

The best dental practice in Canterbury. Wonderful staff. Very friendly and courteous. They put the patient's needs first and make sure one is comfortable and happy with the treatment. Lawrence is a very gentle dentist who has painlessly looked after my teeth for 40 years. A dentist who actually makes me smile! I should have given this review a long time ago - sorry. Likewise, Anthea is an excellent hygienist - always leaving my teeth sparkling. Sam is such a nice practice manager taking time to enquire as to my well being. What a great team - more like a family! Excellent, professional, great customer service. I am having full mouth all on 4 dental implants. After losing a top front tooth and an upcoming wedding to attend to, they have bent over backwards to complete my uppers in good time for the wedding to which I am truly grateful. Surgery was swift and painless, fortunately I have no bruising and very minimal swelling which has now gone completely (day 3).

This is such a lovely place! From the design to the hospitality to the food - everything was excellent. I'd recommend getting a fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam in particular - so incredibly delicious. The scone was served warm and tasted just perfect. The Earl Grey tea I had with milk was amazing as well. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and the staff were beyond amazing.They were so lovely, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire evening, making us feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the cocktails! They have an incredible selection, but the piña colada is an absolute standout—perfectly blended, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had! The happy hour deals are also fantastic, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or celebrate a special occasion. On top of that, the food was delicious with a great variety of flavors and dishes to choose from. It’s clear that Las Iguanas puts a lot of thought and effort into every part of the experience, from the quality of the drinks to the warm, welcoming service. I’ve been here a few times and they have only gotten better each time. The cats are in such good condition. It’s so lovely to see 28 cats living in a beautiful space. Not only that the food and drink is incredible. The staff are lovely and friendly. I cannot wait to go back again and enjoy looking at all the cute fluff balls. I fully support the owners of Canterbury Tails and what they are trying to do. 10 out of 10 with 100% recommend.

I visited this dreamy cafe back in February and it was one of the most charming experiences I’ve ever had. The cafe was cosy, warm and in a wonderful location down a cobbled street towards the Cathedral. I had a lovely time meeting the playful and friendly cats. The plant based hot chocolate and cream tea I had was delicious and it was nice to be surrounded by a few peacefully sleeping cats for company as well. I very much recommend a visit if you are in Canterbury it’s a real treat. X

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to spend two hours here during my trip to England last month. It starts with the perfect name, and things only get better from there. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the cider and flapjack I had were delicious! Now we come to the cats. I spent most of my time with Waffle, a lovable Cornish Rex. He came right over and hopped in my lap. He stayed there for over an hour, which is basically my idea of heaven. I had the opportunity to meet or at least see most of the cats, and they are all wonderful! If you love cats, this is the place for you.

Visited with my friends for my birthday, in late August, & all of us absolutely loved it! The staff were super nice, the kitties were adorable & the chocolate cake is to die for! We got to look around and find the kitties hiding in different places, got to feed them, pet them and just look at them being adorable. Safe to say every single one of us walked out with a heart full of joy and planning when we will visit again! Thank you so much for having us!! ☺️

I went to the lovely cat cafe for my birthday in February, and for a general visit later in the year. And I loved every minute of it. The food and drinks were delicious, and seeing the sweet faces of all the cats was such an experience. Being at uni, I missed my cats back at home so it was so refreshing to see these gorgeous kitties. They are all so cared for by the team and I cannot wait to go again soon!

I had seen Basanta from 9 years,I had to see him this time for an emergency appointment as I had severe toothache. I was able to see him within 90 minutes of speaking to the lovely receptionist (sorry I didn’t catch her name). A relatively pain free appointment and fully informed of what was going on and what to do next. Happy smiley face!!!!!

Fancy not being able to eat over Christmas - I can think of nothing worse. However, that was the position I was in with a fractured upper rear molar. It happened on Christmas Eve and so I sent an email requesting help not expecting to hear back for a couple of days. I was amazed to get a phone call the next day in the morning and giving me an emergency appointment on the day after Boxing Day - 9:30am. I was treated with such kindness and consideration; I cannot praise the attention that was paid to me enough!!! Thank you so much for making my Christmas! A wonderful Dental Practice that looks after all my family.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Basanta Shrestha at Sturry Dental Practice on 11th December. Following the extraction of my tooth, Dr. Basanta provided a clear and detailed explanation of my options, including a long-term solution with a dental implant. He was very thorough in addressing my concerns and ensuring I fully understood the process. With Christmas just around the corner, Dr. Basanta thoughtfully suggested a temporary solution using a Maryland bridge. This would restore my smile in time for the festive season—a gesture I greatly appreciated! By 20th December, the Maryland bridge was ready and installed beautifully. It looks amazing and feels like the perfect Christmas present! I couldn’t be happier with the result. A special thanks also to his nurse, Kennis Yuen, who was exceptionally helpful and explained everything in great detail, making the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Thank you so much, Dr. Basanta and your wonderful team, for your outstanding care and service!

The Maryland Bridge that Ioannis at Burgate Dental fitted for my daughter has been superb. Along with the initial fitting we have been given a number of free check ups to make sure the Maryland is performing as it should and that there are no issues. I have no words to describe the exceptional service I receive from the team, and especially from Dr. Ioannis, the dentist. He took on a patient with numerous dental issues and, with patience and perseverance, is working diligently to improve the situation. So far, I am completely satisfied with their services and care. Had my first hygienist appointment with lia today, she was amazing from start to finish. I was super nervous as I’ve not had this done before and my teeth can be a little sensitive, but she reassured me the whole time and made the experience great! Thank you so much Burgate dental. Lucy, the hygienist, efficiently assisted by Alison, did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth. What I especially noticed was that there was absolutely no physical pain in the process- a really precision job! I was also given specific advice regarding care for my wisdom teeth. For those that find visiting a dentist practice daunting, there is the bonus of being in a beautiful and ancient building with the best views of the Cathedral! I recommend this Practice.

Randomly came across this in a day trip to Canterbury. We walked into a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cakes looked delicious but the chocolate and coconut cake caught my eye. Portions are generous and everything tasted great. I love the sense of community that they bring

One of my favourite places to get lunch. The café has a great atmosphere and it is very cosy. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the chicken and mayo bloomer. Additionally, I love the ethos of this place. You can pay forward for someone else to enjoy a warm meal!
