I recently hired Amptech to help with some electrical work and a Zappi EV charger install in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The quality of their work was exceptional, and they ensured that everything was done to code and to my satisfaction. Not only was James punctual and reliable, but his communication throughout the project was top-notch. He kept me informed every step of the way and addressed any concerns I had promptly. Amptech went above and beyond and the cost was fair with no hidden fees. Bottom line I couldn’t be any happier with my Zappi charger install.

Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Downstairs rewire, hob and shower rewire completed at residential address. The quote given was accurate, when the final invoice was received. We are very pleased with the work Ian and his team completed. They were always punctual, very tidy and clean. All the work was completed thoroughly and professionally. We would highly recommend this company and will definately be using them again.

Installed a new small fuse box in my garage and fed a supply to a new shed and a summerhouse. Really great job completed 100% as requested and within the timescales and costs quoted. Everything properly tested and even done an extra job for me in a spare 10 minutes. Great job, thoroughly recommend.

My partner phoned up today to get a quote for having a ceiling light put up... He was more than happy with the price and the electrician was able to turn up within the hour and expertly install it. 100% Professional, reliable and highly recommended electrician. The whole experience from the initial call for help, right up until bidding him farewell was exceptional, prompt and very reasonably priced. He worked with Speed and Professionalism all the while conducting a conversation with us with a Sense of Humour. Had an emergency call out on a Sunday, no power at all. Adam showed up within half an hour and was done within an hour. He found and fixed the problem quickly, no time wasting, cannot fault the service. Price very good, no rip off. Will definitely use again.

We have recently carried out a complete renovation of our flat, and Adam and his team at Electrically Sound have been working here for more than two weeks. In that time, they have always been friendly, approachable, and extremely efficient. Adam particularly is quite a rare find; a consummate "problem solver" who really seems to work miracles sometimes, when all had seemed lost! He is also unfailingly polite and cheerful, and he always does what he says he will do. Thoroughly recommended.

Swapped a manual Thermostat for a digital one on the heating system. Had to cut open wall to mount wall box, was very neat and tidy. Also removed the unnecessary timer in the heating cupboard and installed a blanking plate without being asked which was a nice touch. Very polite and great service.

This was our 3rd visit to Elvey Farm. The location is perfect and our room was stunning. Our room was located on the side of the barn with our own private space. We were very impressed with the breakfast offering, we had a variety of cereals, youhurts, croissants and really high end quality coffee. We came here to escape for our anniversary and it was just what we needed. Absolute silence (except the sound of a few sheep). No light pollution so you can see many stars at night. Black out blinds, a modern shower room and a smart tv, so you can sign into Netflix etc. Very clean and tidy indeed. Great pub at the end of the driveway with very friendly and welcoming staff. We would highly recommend Elvey Farm for a quiet weekend away.

We stayed in two suites after a day of cycling around North Kent vineyards. This is high-end B&B accommodation: spacious, stylishly furnished and lit, thoughtfully and generously equipped, immaculate throughout. Lovely location, and the pub at the end of the lane made it the perfect one night stopover.

We stayed at Elvey Kent Farms this weekend for the first time after a last minute booking and what a gorgeous stay it was! Such a lovely location, the property is beautiful and the room we stayed in beat expectations. It’s really clear the effort that’s gone into making it a luxury stay from the little touches like the stocked fridge and cupboard for breakfast, the monogrammed robes in our room and even the small sensor light in the bathroom! (We’ve already started looking into getting one at home!). We will 100% percent be coming back, Nick and Sonja (and the cats) are wonderful hosts and thank you again for having us :)

Myself and my partner, Anna stayed in the Tenterden suite for 3 nights and it was immaculate. We had a very relaxing stay and the hosts Sonja and Nick were super attentive and very welcoming upon arrival. The accommodation was furnished to a very high standard and the lovely continental breakfast and snacks was much appreciated. Great local pub - the Rose & Crown which we would highly recommend for a Sunday Lunch. Overall, a fantastic, scenic, idyllic location with the local area being steeped in history and legends! We will be back!

So impressed with Josh and his team. They have treated our renovation project as if it were their own home - with the upmost respect, knowledge and care. And so tidy! Josh has tested our electrics, designed and rewired, installed lights throughout and set up security cameras. Couldn’t be in safer hands and he has perfectly advised throughout the project. Looking forward to having them back once we have built the extension!

Really happy with the work, Josh was very accommodating. We had an outside plug socket, ceiling pendants, power installed to our summer house, two wall lights and spot lights, as well as more plug sockets. Very professional and tidy, will use again and highly recommend.

From design to install Josh was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I can't recommend him highly enough. Josh and team connected my garden office to the house mains electricity supply & ethernet point (some 30metres from the house). He installed several sockets within the garden room, a light track with spotlights, outdoor lights, a motion sensor activated flashlight and watertight outdoor plugs.

Hash browns were a 5 at the table. The celiac French toast was delish 😘 and there were many gluten free options. Definitely coming back to try some of those. Nice and cute environment. Friendly staff and quick as well. Nice coffee as well, quite generous with the syrup in it. It would have been outstanding if more portion of bread would be served as the unbelievable amount of food on the plate would make it amazing for toasts on the side. Still loaded plates and full belly afterwards. Even though outside tables would be very nice for the summer, looking forward to it xx.

Fantastic little place. I went this morning with family, I had french toast with berries and it was delicious and good portion size. My Daughter had pancakes with banana and cinnamon, it was on the menu as pancakes with berries and cinnamon but they were more than happy to make the small change. My partner had pancakes off the gluten free manu which she really enjoyed. We had drinks too, apple juice, latte and chai latte. Service was quick and tge atmospheric was really nice. Will definitely visit again.

This is our first time at the Globe and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. I had the eggs benedict and my husband went for the standard English breakfast. The quality was excellent and it was the best eggs benedict I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend The Globe and we will certainly return.
