Matt has been brilliant throughout the whole experience, I called him for a quote and he arrived when he said he would and I received the estimate in very good time too which was great considering we had a short deadline. Matt reassured me that he could fit the work in for when I needed it done! And even though I added stuff in the work was done as per schedule. I can’t fault anything he has done everything was done to a very neat standard. I will definatly be recommending Matt and also using him in the future.

Rob recently changed the light switches and wall sockets to chrome throughout our house as well as fitment of pendant lighting to our kitchen. Rob worked quickly and tidily, along with being very accommodating around our sons sleep routine :-). Would thoroughly recommend Rob, a very professional service !

Rob always does a great job. Very efficient and quality work. He has installed quite a few chandeliers for us, fitted indoor and outdoor sockets as well as installing preparation for use of a generator to power the house if needed. Can't recommend highly enough!

Rob installed light fittings and power outlets in my garden room. His work is aesthetically pleasing and he left the areas he was working in (both inside & outside) clean and tidy when he was done. You can tell he really knows his stuff & was able to offer good advice from the initial consultation to the finished job. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again & will be recommending him to anyone I know that needs an electrician.

Rob is a skilled, fuss free electrician. He has such a comprehensive knowledge of electrical work and installation. He is reasonably priced and his work speaks for itself. He recently installed our floodlights in little time for us and deduced a problem over the phone which he came around and fixed to do with our wall sockets. I have recommended him to our friends for full house fittings or any electrical trouble shoot or installation.

My family and I had the best time at Silk House Dining. They were so accommodating with our timings and dietary requirements, making the visit so special. We really enjoyed talking to the chef and his partner, making us feel really welcome. The menu can really be accommodated to your liking, with dietary requirements adapted (up to 2 variations). We’re a family of vegans and carnivores and they accommodated amazingly. I would highly recommend for a special occasion and we will be visiting again!

‘You’ll eat in the kitchen’ Silke said; well it was some kitchen. In fact it’s an enormous modern stylish room, specially designed for Adrian the chef to cook and guests to eat in comfort. It makes for a great relaxed atmosphere. The food is imaginative, tasty and well presented; pub grub it is not. Three generations shared the experience of eating at Silke’s and they were unanimous in their delight.

Dining at Silk House Kitchen & Garden was an incredible experience and one of my highlights visiting Kent. It is run by this lovely couple, Adrian and Silke. They made sure we had an amazing evening. We were happily surprised by their flexibility regarding our allergies. They provided a multi-course set menu for us. The food was thought-through and nicely presented. We were given a tour of their serene Japanese garden, filled with koi ponds and wildlife. This added a nice touch to our evening. We will definitely be visiting again for this experience!

We were thrilled to join Adrian and Silke for one of their test kitchen openings to their recently launched Supper Dining Club. We were warmly welcomed by Silke and shown their beautiful and peaceful Japanese Gardens before being seated in the open plan kitchen dining area which has a relaxing and sumptuous ambiance overlooking the garden and ponds. Our meal was excellent with some highlights including an unusual chilled cucumber and avocado summer soup with olive oil dressing and slow roasted smoked chicken done on the Big Green Egg barbeque served with crispy roasted potatoes and a broccoli and parmesan dressing that we had never savoured before. The whole experience was friendly, accomplished, delicious and unique. We highly recommend.

Had a wonderful lunch for two today at this delightful cafe. The Cali-Benny from the Specials Board and the Bacon Sarnie were perfectly cooked and delicious, all quality ingredients too and a lovely choice of drinks to choose from. Service was excellent and the latte coffee simply cannot be beaten, best coffee I’ve ever had!

We visited for the first time today and everything was spot on and made the 35 minute journey from Rochester worthwhile. The coffee is as good as it gets and the food every bit as good as well. I had the Breakfast Burger which was very tasty and my partner had the Rarebit Crumpets which were every bit as as good. Most importantly the staff were all happy and informative and all in all it made for a great experience.

The presentation of the food was amazing and all the items on the menu sounded delicious! The staff were very polite and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. It can be busy at times though, but you are able to reserve a table if you wish. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend this place to anyone who’s thinking of going. 🙂

Fabulous local cafe with endless charm and warmth. The team are very efficient and always attentive. The food is always excellent with a great menu and superb coffee and smoothies. Highly recommend booking ahead.

I stopped in here after a long walk with my dog Bill 15yrs. The staff were so nice putting a bowl of fresh water as we sat down. There's been a lot of thought put in the menu. I chose cottage pie. It was homemade & delicious 👌I will definitely be going back in the new year wow' 10/10 Well done. I couldn't believe it lovely coffee so I had two ☕✌️👍

Stopped by here just before Xmas and so glad I did! Had a bacon and egg sandwich on white toast with a flat white. Sandwich was excellent. Good quality bacon on good quality bread and a fried egg cooked just right. Coffee made on a proper machine rather than one where you just push a button - really nice. Was mild enough to sit outside so all in all a great experience. Had a chat with the two lovely owners and as well as the current menu they are planning to offer more home cooked food. Highly recommended.

Chris recently completed a job chasing in new plugs and switches for us. From start to finish Chris was fantastic. He was quick to answer my call, send across a quote and book me it at an appropriate time. He was polite, tidy, and talked me through what he was doing at each stage. He was also super friendly and very competitively priced. It turned out to be quite a long job but Chris went above and beyond to ensure it was done before the plasterers arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend Eldred electricals and will definitely be using their services in the near future.

Really excellent work done in a few hours in my first full day in my new flat- radiators replaced with a simple, slick replacement as requested, new light fittings from the choice kindly provided, new bathroom light which was really needed and a good replacement too - very reasonable rate indeed. This has provided a wonderful start in my new home.
