We've just had RJ Construction knock through to create a 4.8 metre opening between our two garages, including the installation of supporting steelwork, arranging structural engineering drawings, and building control approval. A very good job, neat and tidy, and completed in one day. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend - Rob was our main point of contact throughout and his knowledge and expertise put our minds at rest from the start. Rob was joined by various members of the team throughout the process, all of whom were friendly and courteous. Rob was always happy to talk through the steps and provide advice and guidance, he also guided us on matters that weren't directly related to his section of the build, which was extremely helpful. The conduct of the whole team was great and they left the site clean and tidy (as can be seen in last pic). Nothing was ever too much for Rob and we send our thanks for all of the hard work undertaken.

Rob and RJ installed a vertical and horizontal beam for me sunk into the ceiling with a big padstone in the footing. They went above and beyond when performing the job to make sure everything was completed on time (even with unexpected plumbing and electrical systems in the way) Rob was working till 9 on a friday to ensure the job was completed so I could get my kitchen sorted. They had a great system to keep everything clean and as dust free as possible. They were extremely professional and price wise very fair, coming in well under some massive quotes I received. They were also very attentive to my partners working situation (with clients in a home salon) Honestly could have not asked for more from Rob and the team. Choosing someone to undertake the job was not something I took lightly and spoke with about 10 contractors, I immediately knew I wanted to use RJ as soon as he started speaking, and its a decision I’m incredibly relieved and happy I did

Rob has professionally managed my application for a dropped curb, through the council, ensuring measurements, the drawings and plans meet all requirements of a complicated process. His hard work and time taken in fully explaining all of this, was informative and extremely helpful. We can 100% recommend Michael! The first job he did for us was to re-seal our shower unit. He did an excellent job and we asked him if he could replace the drainage at the bottom of our drive, which he came back and did. Steve fitted a new bathroom in my studio flat not so long ago and I was extremely pleased with the result. He was really polite, professional and efficient and probably one of the best plumbers I've dealt with (and being a landlady there have been a lot!!). He completed a day early, left the flat spotless and I;ve used him for odd jobs since as well as recommending him regularly. Really liked the way he kept me updated of progress as well.

I needed someone who can do all the work at my place as I recently moved into a new accommodation. After browsing here & there, I finally come across the “Dave” from Gravesend Builders. I found Dave very Experienced and Genuine guy who didn’t charge me for coming to my place especially for the quotation. He gave me best price for light fighting’s. He is a Certified Electrician and he can do other building works as well. So; I am going to get more work done from him. Dave is very helpful and he understood the urgency of light fighting and did the job for me in 2 days time. He managed couple of hours for me to get my job done from his busy schedule. He is very responsive on messages and he gave me so many advices as I wasn’t aware of how to hang curtains in right way. He is very clean as well. He didn’t left any mess after the work and he brought his indoor sleepers to move around at my place. I have never seen anyone like Dave before who is very down to earth with so many good qualities and talent. I personally Highly Recommend “Gravesend Builders”. 👍🏼

We employed Dave to do quite a few jobs for us including re-boarding and plastering internal ceilings, preparing our walls for decoration, creating a media wall around our chimney breast and plastering, fitting picture rails, installing a loft hatch and ladder and replacing a bathroom basin and tiling. Dave is very professional, communicative and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to employ him to do work for us in the future - 5 stars.

Can't recommend Lewis highly enough. Did a fantastic job of replacing our worktops, tiles and sink a few weeks ago. We straight away asked about replacing the floor so he came back last week and yet again did a fab job. Lewis and Dan are tidy, polite and very professional.

The Return of Simon. 4 weeks doing the tasks that have been needed to be done for years but never got around to it plus fitting and decorating a downstairs toilet. No task too big for Simon. Outstanding work. We’ll have him back next year for the garden decking.
