Riverhill is an absolutely marvellous place for a wedding reception. We were looking for a blank canvas to set up a village fete afternoon and a marquee, and the tennis lawn was the perfect spot for this. Kate and her team could not have been more accommodating of our requests and as a consequence we got everything we wanted and more! Several of our guests said that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and Riverhill played a very large part in that. Thank you!

I had always loved Riverhill so when my husband and I were engaged we knew we wanted to look at it as a potential wedding venue. We are SO pleased we did! The venue is spectacular and we loved that different parts of the day were spent in a variety of areas within the gardens. Our wedding plans were sadly interrupted by COVID and Kate could not have done more to help us work out how we would move forward through the ever changing guidance - you couldn’t be in safer hands. We feel so lucky to have got married at Riverhill and also love that we can go back and visit in the years to come. Thank you Riverhill for some incredible memories!

We were lucky enough to have our Wedding reception at Riverhill Garden in May 22. We had the best day ever- Kate was such a great help through the process from in advising us and helping us and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The setting was beautiful having drinks and canapés on the top terrace, we had amazing photos throughout the gardens and everyone loved the venue. We are so grateful for everything and we look forward to enjoying the gardens on wedding anniversaries to come!

We got married at Riverhill in 2019 and would still choose it as our wedding venue. It is the perfect place for a couple who love the outdoors and want complete control of their special day. We got married in the walled garden before heading to the old tennis courts where we had erected a marquee for the wedding breakfast and celebrations. The whole team at Riverhill are wonderful to work with and we love being able to return every year and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Thanks to everyone at Riverhill for making our day so special!

Riverhill is magical. The first time we visited we fell in love with this wonderful site, the gardens and woodlands are beautiful. All year around there is something new to be discovered. It's even more special if you read about the history of Riverhill and the love and work the family and the RIverhill team put into it before opening it to the public. When we found out they hosted weddings here we stopped searching for a venue, this was it! We discovered they only hosted 8 weddings a year, making this venue very exclusive for a wedding and so it was fate when the date we wanted was only one of two remaining! Kate, Ruth and the team were wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. They made our wedding run smoothly, giving us the most wonderful day. We were allowed to go to the venue at various points on the lead up to our wedding with caterers, our florist, etc. and my bunch of bridesmaids to practice walking through the gardens to the breathtaking Himalayan Hut where we said our vows. It was reassuring to know as well that if it rained on the day, Kate plans a back up in the form of the Garden Room - they got you covered! Riverhill have an extensive list of approved suppliers which was really helpful in planning what we needed. Kate also had some amazing advice about how to make the venue our own for our big day. Each couple really can make their wedding unique. On the day of our wedding, Kate and Ruth were absolute angels. They ensured everything was perfect for us, and Kate even took my bag up to the hut for me so I didn't have to carry it up the aisle. We love visiting Riverhill even more now that it is extra special for us. We can't wait to return for a picnic on our anniversary!
