We had our company Christmas do here this year. All of us that attended had the best time, made all the better by Keeley and her team. From the minute we arrived to time we left, we were thoroughly looked after by all of the staff at Chapel House. This ticked every box for us there was a lot of brilliant attention to detail that made a very memorable night that no doubt we will all remember for time to come. Went here for a wedding on 15th December and had a wonderful time. It's in a nice and quiet location, not too far away from a main road but you'd never know it. We were a small party and the venue for the ceremony was nice and intimate, but they have a large hall that can house plenty for bigger events. Pleasant bar and restaurant, had local cider available and a great range of food that we could choose from. I stayed the night in a lodge with an incredibly comfy bed and warm shower, and thankfully the heating is very effective too! TV also provided with a firestick, but I fell asleep too quickly to browse xD Lovely fry up the next morning too. Special thanks to the staff who were incredibly friendly and bubbly and always willing to help. The layout of the place on a hill may present a challenge to parties with lots of less mobile people, though they have a golf buggy to help people up and down. Thanks again!

I absolutely loved photographing Jack & Izzy's Wedding at the Chapel House Estate and I cannot recommend this venue enough! Living locally to Chapel House Estate this venue has to be one of my favourites not just in Thanet but in the whole of Kent. There are endless opportunities for photographs in the gardens surrounding the main house. There are so many different options for couples no wedding is the same at this stunning venue. I can't wait to come back!

I recently attended a Christmas party at this venue, and it was absolutely stunning! The decorations were beautiful and created the perfect festive atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The live music was outstanding and added a special touch to the night. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion—it truly made the event unforgettable!

We chose The Night Yard for our wedding reception on the 18th of August 2023, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The serene garden and captivating glasshouse provided a dreamy setting that had our guests in awe. A massive thank you to Pip, Verity, and Kerry. Your dedication and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. Pip’s creative touch, Verity’s organizational prowess, and Kerry's helpful presence were instrumental in making our day seamless and unforgettable. We highly recommend The Night Yard for its stunning backdrop and a team that goes above and beyond to ensure a successful event. The Night Yard was great choice for our wedding!!! The venue and staff were both excellent and accommodating. The venue has everything you need in it and makes it more intimate as everything is in one place but gives you room to move around. The staff, especially Kerry was excellent and gave us all the support we needed and more. I have left more of my views below – if you are considering getting married you should have a look. The wedding was of course great, but let me tell you about: THE VENUE Glasshouse - Really nice venue which matched everything we hoped for. It has a big glasshouse which is where our ceremony and wedding breakfast was held, it is large enough to cater for everyone and still have space for a DJ. Courtyard - It has a nice outside garden / courtyard where ceremonies can take place too, this is a big open space that latches on to the main glasshouse which means all your guests are in the same area (which means no wandering off guests). The kids loved the courtyard and played outside for lots of the time. The staff even put out games to entertain them (and adults too). Parking - lots of parking and you can leave your car overnight. Lockers – They also provide you with access to big lockers to store things in a couple days before which does help – we didn’t need to but it is useful to have. THE STAFF This was the other main reason we chose The Night Yard. On our first viewing of the venue Kerry was great and you can tell really loved her job, she explained everything and walked us around the venue and left no doubt in our mind that the staff really love to help. After we paid a deposit we harassed Kerry quite a lot and she was always happy to help, we went back to venue 2 or 3 times and she was very accommodating and supportive and gave lots of good advice. Honestly Kerry was great and she made everything so much easier. We would message or call her for queries regarding table clothes, and table layouts etc and she didn’t mind at all. The other staff were great too, Pip in particular who handled the drinks package was really nice and helped too. Unfortunately, Kerry wasn’t there to facilitate on the wedding day but we had Pip who performed well and made sure everything ran smoothly. All the other staff we came across were great too. They’re very accommodating, you can even bring pets. No problems at all with the staff. And Kerry went above and beyond. PACKAGES Food / Catering – our catering was actually really good and the food was really nice, but only bad side for me was the lack of choice for the caterers. The Night Yard have a selection from a few caterers to use which fits into your package but for us some wasn’t available on the day and we had a choice between only 2. It did work out well but I think they should have a larger choice (but then I suppose its what makes them good because they know their suppliers etc). External Caterers – you can bring your own external caterers in, but they will charge £500 to do this, however that option isn’t that bad if you have your own preferences as most caterers are very expensive (ours was!). OVERALL I 100% am happy with the venue and the service, the wedding was great and I had no issues or problems at all.

Amazing supplier, fast responses, always happy to help providing great service with lovely products for our wedding day. Angie was lovely and so friendly and couldn't have done more for us to help make our venue look great, we hired the draping and a few other bits which looked beautiful. Thank you so much!

Angie & her team are absolutely amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of ordering my daughter’s birthday balloons with Angie and although I have less than a week’s notice Angie made me 2 balloon stacks and a “2” balloon arrangement all in Paddington bear theme which all my party guests commented on. She even delivered them, nothing was too much trouble! I also work with Angie to create all of my acrylic cake menus for my wedding cakes, they always turn out beautifully and I can’t wait to see the next one she creates

Angie is amazing! She literally made any idea we had become reality saving us so much stress and time. We wanted something a bit different and she wasn’t in the slightest bit phased and everything fitted perfectly. The favour tags, table plan, guestbook and centre pieces were specially made for us. We just found a photo of something we liked and she had it made or we gave her an idea and she created it. The photos just don’t do her work justice. Thanks so much Angie for making life so easy! Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Angie for making our wedding day so special. Angie did our table numbers plus the table planner it was beautiful much better than I expected her attention to detail is second to none. The Secret Garden truly is such a gem of a wedding venue, and one of my absolute favourites in Kent! As a wedding photographer myself having an exclusive stunning garden space to shoot is such a big win, especially with it changing so much in every season, with so many different spots to explore and photograph. With that outdoor space for guests and couples to relax in the sun, the fantastic team who'll do anything for their couples, and the epic food. It's one amazing location for weddings that I'd highly recommend!

Wow... where to begin. The Secret Garden is THE dream wedding venue!!! The entire process, from the first visit to the day itself, could not have been a better experience. To Amy and Mas especially, thank you so much! You were absolutely incredible and could not have done more to ensure that we had the most special day imaginable. The food is something all of our guests still talk about to this day, particularly our gluten free guests who the venue went out of their way to cater for. From dropping things off the day before, to picking everything up that The Secret Garden team had gathered together the next morning, we couldn't have dreamt of a better venue. David & Meg ❤️

Kurt and I had our wedding at The Secret Garden on 1 September 2024. From our very first visit to the big day, everything was absolutely perfect. Every single member of the team is so responsive, friendly and reassuring. It just made the whole thing ten times easier to plan, and we could relax completely on the day, knowing everything would run like clockwork - which it did! We never felt like just another wedding couple to them, though. They were so thoughtful and welcoming, and they completely got what we were after. The food was genuinely fantastic. We wanted a really relaxed feel so we went for the BBQ followed by the picnic-y platter in the evening. Everybody told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. And it was so nice that guests didn't have to pick between the options - there was plenty for everyone! We really can't thank the team enough. We were completely delighted and had the most wonderful day - in huge part down to them. If you're considering The Secret Garden as a wedding venue, don't hesitate for a second!! We viewed the venue on a chilly but sunny day in February and despite very few flowers being in bloom and the trees being bare, the beauty of the place was breathtaking. From the moment we booked up until the wedding day last month, we felt so well looked after by Amy, Alisha and the team. The information pack is so thorough and included all the information that we needed to send out with our invites, the pricing is really clear with no hidden costs, and the sample menus gave us a really good idea of what to expect. The choice of food and drinks were amazing and we've had so many compliments from our guests about the meal. Communication with the team was really easy and every question we had was answered quickly. I didn't have any worries leading up to the day because the team gave us total confidence that everything was in hand. On the day itself, we were guided through each stage when needed but left to enjoy our time together and with our guests at all other times. The team dealt with every detail from moving our flowers from the ceremony to the table centres, ensuring the music was set up where we'd asked for it, welcoming the band when they arrived and preparing the coach house for the cake cutting and first dance, (and so, so much more)! We didn't have to think of a thing! We are so grateful to the whole team at The Secret Garden and especially Amy who looked after us on the day. We wish we could do it all over again!
