Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Penelope Weddings were incredible in taking care of our special day. Our wedding day was by the far the most special day of our lives. Penny literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. It was truly a magical day. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. Penny has an eye for attention to detail and we were so thankful to have her see to those details and it played a huge part in making the whole day so special. Penny has this wonderful aura and made us both feel wonderful during the process. She understands both partners wants and needs of what there special day means to them and using this to ensure decisions are made and well thought out and delivered. Hi, this review is for our AMAZING wedding planner Penny at Penelope Weddings. Our wedding just passed earlier this month in June so a big sigh of relief as I'm writing this. First, I would like to mention that I live in the United States and trying to plan a wedding overseas was nearly impossible. In the US, we find our vendors by using mainly Yelp searches and in most parts of the world, Yelp is not a feasible option. I was able to find a couple vendors on my own just by searching and joining random groups on FB, but due to the time zone difference and other obstacles, it was challenging to say the least. The DJ we hired recommended using a wedding planner and up until that point I hadn't really thought that was an option for us. She gave me 3 referrals and we actually did a zoom call with another wedding planning company prior to talking to Penny. They were asking for an unreasonable amount of money and more importantly we didn't connect as they seemed cold and it was all a very transactional conversation. Then our next meeting was with Penny and from the beginning she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She made it very clear from the beginning of her involvement and guidance. From the beginning to end, Penny literally held my hand and walked us through everything. She made suggestions and recommendations that we would never had thought of and we truly appreciate everything that she has done for us. At the end of the wedding, I've asked for Penny's help to mail by bouquet to an Etsy vendor to dry my flowers and preserve them because we had to fly to Lisbon the next day after the wedding! If you can afford to and you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, please just reach out to Penny. I promise that you won't regret it!

The place is amazing! First impression 'is this a museum?' Very well restored house with authentical rooms and amazing reception. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an extravagant stay, for any event, it will make you feel like you are back in time, living a royal life. And all this for a very affordable price Would like to thank Mr. Saban for a very warm welcome

Absolutely loved the room we were in. Bathroom is gorgeous. Single bath was simply Devine. Bed was soooo comfy silk sheets. Very very well priced. Owner is very polite and happy to help with any needs and recommending lush restaurants. ‼️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

This was wonderful lodging- my room had a huge tub! The owner left me bubble bath and champagne! Heaven can wait, After 2.5 weeks, I was there! Great room and very private on the third floor with beautiful sweeping stairways…. Very English decor with nice antiques to enjoy. Great Italian food Next-door and Indian on the other side. Easy access to buses and train is 13 min walk.
