Having worked with Pippa and her team at Nova on a few weddings now we’ve been highly impressed on the high level of service she provides for her couples. There is no stone unturned on the lead up to the day which makes our job as caterers a lot easier for us. Nova is the only wedding planning service we at Kitchen of Kent would ever recommend.

Clare @ Nova Wedding Planning is absolutely brilliant. You cannot go wrong by choosing to work with her. I have been working in this industry for many many years and I have to say she is one of the best planners I have ever met, and an even lovelier person! Her italian weddings are absolutely out of this world. You will never experience a wedding like it in the UK. If you are still unsure, please, trust me, book with Nova.

Such an amazing event! Party Doctor took all the stress and worry out of arranging an 18th birthday party in my garden. They kept the kids safe and they had a fabulous time. Would definitely recommend and plan to use again.

Photos can't translate how amazing our wedding day was. Raj, Dom and everyone at Party Doctors did an incredible job, working around the clock to make sure our dream wedding happened just the way we wanted. From marquee to chairs to lighting, everything was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. There was excellent communication between us, the venue and other vendors every step of the way - support every bride and groom need! Thank you for giving us our fairytale wedding!! Our company has worked with Party Drs on several occasions. They are a joy to work with, creative, professional and patient. Nothing seems too much to handle, and they understood our brand and requirements very quickly, carrying this through each event. The staff themselves are great, both friendly and humourous whilst maintaining professionalism. Our recent even was a large exhibition which they took care of from start to finish. From designing our stand to completing all the paperwork and formalities with the venue. Raj and Dom took great care in making sure our stand was ready and even took over aspects that were not in their remit to ensure it met our standards. Raj, Dom and their staff took very good care of our company and customers. When our stand was extremely busy, they took the initiative to mingle with the crowd, offer drinks so our guests were not left hanging around empty handed. Even "off the clock" they assisted in arranging transport home for our stranded customers. This was just a typical example of the lengths they will go to to ensure the event is a success for their customer. We have not hesitated to book again for next year.

We hired a church hall for an 18th, I was so fortunate to find Party Doctors. Brad was super helpful, engaged and supportive throughout the entire process. The lighting, DJ, draping of the hall - fantastic!! The guys were very polite & professional and worked throughout the evening on a tricky timescale…they were completely packed up on time. Well organised and very competent. Highly recommend this company.

My daughter and I attended the Pumpkins and Pixie Dust event at Tonbridge Castle on Wednesday and I was blown away by how fabulous it was. The castle space was used brilliantly with immersive theatre at every turn, my daughter and her friend were 100% committed and involved with the storytelling! As always, all cast members were fantastic and interacted magically with the children. Such an unusual and unique event. I’m so glad we went, it was worth every penny. Thank you Once Upon A Wish for bringing the magic.

Wow and thank you! From the day I contacted Once Upon a Wish to the party, I have been exceptionally impressed so I just had to write a review. Jess went above and beyond to ensure the needs of my SEN daughter were going to be able to be accommodated for. She even gave a breakdown of the party, step by step , to share with her the evening before. On the day the lovely Freya arrived, Mae the Mermaid, a whole 15 minutes early and from the moment we opened the door she was incredible. She captured the attention of the girls within seconds and they were all hooked. The party ran smoothly and nothing we asked was too much - she was happy to adapt as and when the birthday girl wished (including a conga!) This was hands down the best birthday event my daughter has ever had and we will definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much. One incredibly happy 6 year old!

Absolutely perfect! We hired Once Upon a Wish for our daughter’s 4th birthday and it was the best decision. Cinderella was so impressively like the actual Cinderella - the hair, makeup, costumes are the best I’ve seen! And she was so wonderful with the kids, they all loved her. She was beautiful, kind, timely, fun, professional and all around just such a perfect addition to the day. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

The Christmas grotto’s absolutely amazing, brings the magic of Christmas to life and brings so so much joy to all the children, incredible actors and staff and you can see so much hard works gone in to making it look incredible, Thank you soo so much to you all, you really made my two girls Christmas time so special, this is are second year coming and will definitely be coming back 😃🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼

What a gem! Oak Tree Barn is an absolutely stunning wedding venue and one of the best-kept secrets in Kent. It’s perfect for couples looking for something intimate yet beautiful, with a quirky and charming atmosphere that’s just magical. We at Kate and Kate love working here—the setting is gorgeous, and it offers such a personal touch to every wedding. If you’re after a venue that feels like a hidden treasure, Oak Tree Barn is a fabulous choice!

I had the sincere pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding, here at Oak Tree Barns, in May 2024. As a local Kent photographer, it was a real treat to visit one of our county's most beautiful wedding venues. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Very well thought out and, clearly, very carefully and lovingly looked after. I must also praise the exceptional staff. The entire OTB team were incredibly kind, supportive and helpful. Everything a couple (and a fellow supplier!) could hope for on an otherwise busy wedding day! I very much look forward to returning and working alongside the fantastic staff at Oak Tree Barns again soon.

We had the most incredible wedding day at Oak Tree Barn in August 2024 (I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review). From the moment we stepped foot in the venue for a viewing, we knew that this was where we were meant to get married. Renee and the team made us feel so at home instantly and we fell in love with the venue itself. It really is breathtaking, even more so on the day! Prior to the wedding, the team could not be more accommodating, answering all of our questions and making suggestions based on the kind of vibe that we were going for. There was no ask too big or small. They really understand what people want to see at a wedding and use their experience to help you make decisions that make the day special. During set up, the team were on hand to support. Even when I had a small mental breakdown that the wrong serviceware was delivered, Renee stepped in to help figure it out and take away that pre-wedding stress, something that I truly appreciated. She really does care about making the weddings held at Oak Tree Barn perfect! On the day, they made us feel like celebrities. Special thanks go out to Lydia, our wedding coordinator, who found ways to give us special surprises throughout the day (our room reveal with The Function Band) that we were not planning to do, but has become one of my favourite memories from the day! I think the most special thing about this venue is that they are constantly learning from each wedding they do and adapt their venue to add more and more to what they offer (like the Soggy Salloon and the Disco balls that were installed as a feature the day before our wedding - which we adored!) We cannot wait to continue visiting year after year to celebrate our anniversary at OTB, and to reconnect with the amazing team. Renee, Lydia, Teresa and the whole OTB family, we cannot thank you enough!

Well what can we say, we visited OTB, absolutely fell in love with the venue and the team and signed on the dotted line before we even got home or visited any other venues. From start to finish OTB staff were incredible, especially Lydia who hands down absolutely smashed her role as Wedding Coordinator. We had countless compliments for Lydia on the day and she is a true asset to the team. The venue itself is insane, so many of our guests commented on the day of how well everything worked. Nothing was ever too much and the day to night transition feels like you have two venues in one. If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We included the Bothy and utilised both the on site salon and glamping pods, all these additions just added to the wow factor and overall experience. Will 100000% be recommending this venue to all future couples, especially Ashleigh working in the industry. It was a real pleasure to visit The Oak Barn again this time to perform for the newlyweds Abbie & Tom, the venue grounds are well kept and a beautiful setting for such a special occasion, the barn is a great space to host the evening party with a raised stage area for the bands to perform on, the staff are there to greet on arrival, friendly and helpful throughout and one of Kent’s finest wedding venues! We look forward to the next visit 🤘🙂 🥳

We had our team offsite at The Oak Barn and it was perfect from start to end - the venue, the suppliers recommended, all the staff! The location! It is a truly gorgeous place. Especially for us Londoners that need some county air!! Deana and Tim are the nicest people to work with ever, the communication before the event and during made everything so easy. I really appreciate how much effort they put in to make the day a success. I’ve had multiple people ask me about the venue after they’ve seen photographs and everyone is already asking if we can go back again next year!! Thank you so so so much, I was blown away by the entire day and so happy with how the event went.

We recently had our wedding at The Oak Barn and it was the perfect place. The barn and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, the fact you can spend the whole weekend there really makes the wedding feel special with plenty of time to set up and relax. The team are amazing, really supportive in the run up and during the weekend and ready to help with whatever might arise! Thank you for the best weekend ever.

We had our wedding in October 2024 at the Oak Barn Frame Farm and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue! From the moment we looked around the barn, we both knew it was the place for us. Having 3 barns meant we were able to keep our 50 guests entertained and still have beautiful spaces. We weren’t sure what to expect with dry-hire, but the barn is so beautiful it could be kept minimal if you’re on a budget, but being able to personalise it to how we wanted it made it extra special for us. The open fields, waterfall and sheep meant we got some amazing photos (from our photographer Matt Birchall) as well as the best memories. Chrystelle couldn’t have been more helpful, from her communication in planning, to the materials provided in the run up to the wedding, and her excellent organisation on the day meaning our wedding ran seamlessly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The list of trusted suppliers was great too, and we used quite a few who were also great. The accommodation on site was an added bonus for us and family, and all of our friends and family commented on what a perfect venue we’d chosen. Being environmentally focused was also a huge bonus for us, as it really aligned with our values. Thank you to all at the Oak Barn for giving us the happiest day!
