The BEST wedding venue! We got married 1st June this year and it was phenomenal, the whole experience from start to finish was smooth, professional and personal. We booked Bore Place two years before getting married as we knew it was the perfect location for us. Ana was available to answer our many questions and show us around multiple times in the lead up to our wedding, nothing was too much to ask. The whole wedding weekend was a dream, Ana and Neil were there to help us prepare for our weekend, from helping with bunting to BBQ set up. They were there on the day and made everything run smoothly so we hardly noticed them. On the Sunday morning, again they were there to help. They made our wedding weekend flow effortlessly and left us with little to worry about! The whole venue was beautiful and we had the most spectacular photos and our guests enjoyed themselves. Thank you all for the best wedding and I would recommend Bore Place to anyone!

We got married at Bore Place in October 2024. It is the most magical and incredible wedding venue and we had the best weekend of our lives. Ana and the team were fabulous - they were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel at home. Having exclusive hire of the whole site enabled our guests to fully relax and enjoy the whole experience - every person commented on how amazing the venue was. It was simply perfect, and we feel so lucky to have had the wedding of our dreams at such a special place.

Delighted to have stayed at Bore Place House for a long weekend with the extended family. Beautiful rambling house perfect for youngsters to enjoy the early Christmas spirit. We had 18 of us staying, 10 adults and 8 kids from new born twins to 7 year old. We really didn’t want for anything, glorious rambling walks, watching farm life at work, cow milking, calves and all under the expertise guidance of Neil who couldn’t do enough for us. There is a fire pit overlooking the attractive rear garden and pond and a well stocked wood pile. Large rooms, very large kitchen all made for an easy to manage weekend. We were all very sorry to leave and will be back.

I recently attended a Festive Chutney Making workshop using ingredients sourced from the garden at Bore Place.. The workshop began with a talk by Bore Places market gardener, which makes you appreciate the difficulties faced by market gardeners. Bore Places resident chef taking the workshop was very professional and it was lovely to see how passionate she is about what she is doing, and what she hopes to be able to do at Bore Place in the future by way of other workshops. Apart from the delicious chutney we made, learning how to make crackers and sampling some of the Blackwood cheese was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop, and look forward to doing others when they become available.

I had the sincere pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding, here at Oak Tree Barns, in May 2024. As a local Kent photographer, it was a real treat to visit one of our county's most beautiful wedding venues. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Very well thought out and, clearly, very carefully and lovingly looked after. I must also praise the exceptional staff. The entire OTB team were incredibly kind, supportive and helpful. Everything a couple (and a fellow supplier!) could hope for on an otherwise busy wedding day! I very much look forward to returning and working alongside the fantastic staff at Oak Tree Barns again soon.

We had the most incredible wedding day at Oak Tree Barn in August 2024 (I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review). From the moment we stepped foot in the venue for a viewing, we knew that this was where we were meant to get married. Renee and the team made us feel so at home instantly and we fell in love with the venue itself. It really is breathtaking, even more so on the day! Prior to the wedding, the team could not be more accommodating, answering all of our questions and making suggestions based on the kind of vibe that we were going for. There was no ask too big or small. They really understand what people want to see at a wedding and use their experience to help you make decisions that make the day special. During set up, the team were on hand to support. Even when I had a small mental breakdown that the wrong serviceware was delivered, Renee stepped in to help figure it out and take away that pre-wedding stress, something that I truly appreciated. She really does care about making the weddings held at Oak Tree Barn perfect! On the day, they made us feel like celebrities. Special thanks go out to Lydia, our wedding coordinator, who found ways to give us special surprises throughout the day (our room reveal with The Function Band) that we were not planning to do, but has become one of my favourite memories from the day! I think the most special thing about this venue is that they are constantly learning from each wedding they do and adapt their venue to add more and more to what they offer (like the Soggy Salloon and the Disco balls that were installed as a feature the day before our wedding - which we adored!) We cannot wait to continue visiting year after year to celebrate our anniversary at OTB, and to reconnect with the amazing team. Renee, Lydia, Teresa and the whole OTB family, we cannot thank you enough!

Well what can we say, we visited OTB, absolutely fell in love with the venue and the team and signed on the dotted line before we even got home or visited any other venues. From start to finish OTB staff were incredible, especially Lydia who hands down absolutely smashed her role as Wedding Coordinator. We had countless compliments for Lydia on the day and she is a true asset to the team. The venue itself is insane, so many of our guests commented on the day of how well everything worked. Nothing was ever too much and the day to night transition feels like you have two venues in one. If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We included the Bothy and utilised both the on site salon and glamping pods, all these additions just added to the wow factor and overall experience. Will 100000% be recommending this venue to all future couples, especially Ashleigh working in the industry. We had a wonderful Christmas wedding at Oak Tree Barn. Renee, Lydia, Theresa and the rest of the team were on hand to answer all our queries both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Having the venue for the whole weekend meant we had plenty of time to set up and decorate without any stress. We stayed in the Bothy with our family and enjoyed a lovely evening before the wedding. Plenty of space for up to 7 adults and a lovely master bedroom for the bride and groom. Also lots of space to ready separately on the morning of the wedding. We used caterers and a DJ recommended by Oak Tree who were both fantastic. Our favourite part of the venue was all the fairy lights and disco balls - it looked so magical. We can’t thank the team at Oak Tree enough for a perfect day and would recommend to any couples who want a relaxed wedding in a fun and rustic setting.

If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. If you are looking for a professional, friendly, reliable service, definitely consider Pretty Events Co.

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

Working with the lovely Charlotte is always a great and stress free. She is organised and takes anything in her stride. I have worked with Charlotte on a number of occasions and always look forward to one of her weddings.

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!

Charlotte was just incredible from start to finish helping us on our wedding day. In the build up to the ‘big day’ she provided us with so many helpful tips that we hadn’t yet thought of and dealt with all our suppliers so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On our actual day Charlotte was a superstar and ensured we could relax in full confidence not worrying about a thing. Any hiccups were sorted within moments and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to run our day. Charlotte is not only a professional, keeping everyone and everything running smoothly, but a lovely person who was a joy to have with us on the day. We could not have had our day without her support. Everyone needs a Charlotte for their wedding! Thank you again for helping to make it so special for us.

We hired a church hall for an 18th, I was so fortunate to find Party Doctors. Brad was super helpful, engaged and supportive throughout the entire process. The lighting, DJ, draping of the hall - fantastic!! The guys were very polite & professional and worked throughout the evening on a tricky timescale…they were completely packed up on time. Well organised and very competent. Highly recommend this company.

We used Party Doctors to help us with a joint 18th birthday party for our daughter and her two friends. They were fantastic. From the first enquiry to the event itself they were honest, helpful, accommodating, trustworthy, professional and reliable. We had 250 guests of varying ages and Party Doctors literally created a night club in our garden. Everything from the marquee, indoor and outdoor lighting, DJ, bar, bar staff, food, toilets and security they arranged for us which took away the stress and allowed us to really enjoy the evening with our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them - they honestly are all a pleasure to work with and know how to throw an unforgettable party !

Our company has worked with Party Drs on several occasions. They are a joy to work with, creative, professional and patient. Nothing seems too much to handle, and they understood our brand and requirements very quickly, carrying this through each event. The staff themselves are great, both friendly and humourous whilst maintaining professionalism. Our recent even was a large exhibition which they took care of from start to finish. From designing our stand to completing all the paperwork and formalities with the venue. Raj and Dom took great care in making sure our stand was ready and even took over aspects that were not in their remit to ensure it met our standards. Raj, Dom and their staff took very good care of our company and customers. When our stand was extremely busy, they took the initiative to mingle with the crowd, offer drinks so our guests were not left hanging around empty handed. Even "off the clock" they assisted in arranging transport home for our stranded customers. This was just a typical example of the lengths they will go to to ensure the event is a success for their customer. We have not hesitated to book again for next year.

Photos can't translate how amazing our wedding day was. Raj, Dom and everyone at Party Doctors did an incredible job, working around the clock to make sure our dream wedding happened just the way we wanted. From marquee to chairs to lighting, everything was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. I recently completed the 1:1 course in Wedding Planning & Business marketing. I was very impressed with how the course was structured. I was given 8 books which I read before the 1:1 session which I found to be incredibly detailed & informative. The 1:1 session was engaging and I really enjoyed Pippa's teaching style. I found Pippa to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the wedding industry and how I could work to develop my business and succeed. I really appreciated the time Pippa took to help me work on my branding and develop a realistic business plan. I would definitely recommend the WPS and I feel confident to begin my journey as a wedding planner.

What an incredible week spent on the Elite Course with the Wedding Planner School. As an aspiring wedding planner the course was just the thing I was looking for x1000. We were lucky enough to stay in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a week which was a magical experience whilst getting to know my course mates, who were all really supportive of one another. The daily classroom sessions (theory and practical) went into great detail and there was lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. In addition, the opportunity to work on a real wedding towards the end of the week was brilliant and gives you great insight as to what you can expect. All in all, the course was the perfect springboard for my next step towards becoming a wedding planner. Thanks to Pippa and Amber for everything you continue to put into it!

They are amazing!! I want to say a huge thank you to Pippa and the entire wedding planning team!! Our wedding day would not have gone HALF as smooth as it did without the amazing team for organising everything and being so helpful the whole way through! I want to say thank you for the wonderful wedding planning course. The course was incredibly informative and practical, and I feel I’ve learned so much! I appreciated how hands-on it was, allowing us to practice what ‘we learned. The day wedding coordination was particularly amazing as it gave me a taste of what it’s like to work on a real wedding. It was a fantastic opportunity to see everything come together and made me more excited about becoming a wedding planner. Pippa & Amber managed to create a supportive learning environment and were there to answer questions and offer guidance.
