Brilliant! Darren stopped our house going up in flames so what more can I say 😂 Darren is a walking encyclopaedia of electrical knowledge and governance but explains everything in an easy to understand way. Was clear from the get-go on pricing, answers queries promptly, turns up when he says he going to and is honest. Work was completed quickly and efficiently, looking forward to him coming back to complete the other work we have that needs doing. I generally don’t feel comfortable around people due to social anxieties, but Darren is great be be around and loves dogs, so that’s all good in my book 😂

On the day of the works we received a text in the morning stating an approximate time of arrival. Darren is a very personable and friendly man. I have used him to do numerous jobs, over the past few years, adding and changing sockets, changing and fitting most of our ceiling lights, fitting external sensor floodlights, fitting all of our external Ring security and also adding new external weather-proof sockets. I think on nearly every occasion I have been shocked by the cost, always expecting the work to cost more than Darren charges! Darren always responds to request messages quickly, is relatively quick to book you in, always keeps his appointment and is never late. I have recommended him to friends and neighbours on a few occasions and the feedback is always very positive. Call him, book him, use him, you won't be disappointed.

We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.

Installed a new small fuse box in my garage and fed a supply to a new shed and a summerhouse. Really great job completed 100% as requested and within the timescales and costs quoted. Everything properly tested and even done an extra job for me in a spare 10 minutes. Great job, thoroughly recommend.

Downstairs rewire, hob and shower rewire completed at residential address. The quote given was accurate, when the final invoice was received. We are very pleased with the work Ian and his team completed. They were always punctual, very tidy and clean. All the work was completed thoroughly and professionally. If you don't know a plumber personally, it can be quite scary trying to choose the right one based on so many reviews. But let me help you. We called Gary at Hillcrest to take a complex but not hugely lucrative job fitting our water filtration system. A couple of other plumbers had said "no mate, not enough space" etc... Gary on the other hand, came and did a survery, agreed it would be a pain but he would get it done. 2 weeks later we're all fitted and the pipework is brilliant. He is super friendly and explains what and why he's doing stuff every step of the way. The plumbing in and around our filters is better than it was before he arrived because he's meticulous at what he does and was all really reasonably priced. In short, I genuinely wouldn't waste another second scrolling, just call Hillcrest. Great experience.

Gary did great work to deal with a number of issues; leaking cistern, dripping taps, deteriorated shower tray seal. Kept appointment, worked methodically leaving no mess behind and also provided good advice; all for a fair price. Would definitely use Hillcrest again and happily recommend to others.

Darren is his team are a highly professional bunch which carried out their work to high standards and diligence. A consumer unit replacement job turned into then having to add extra 32amp sockets for my HiFi system didnt sway them. They were more than happy to do the wxtra work. I highly recommend them. Initially we called Castle Heating for a breakdown 2 days before a large family gathering on Christmas day. Not only did they come out quick and at the stated time, they left us able to get through our gathering. Two days after Christmas, they fitted the new boiler in what is the most awkward of places. I never did get their names, but the 2 men were absolutely brilliant. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. The bonus..... all this at a really good price. I would highly recommend them, and I will be using them to come and carry out a yearly service.

Kieron took down the built in units in our bedroom and poor quality partition wall, installing a new one with interior insulation boards to help with our damp issue, before plastering. The work was completed quickly, tidily and he also gave extra advice too. Local and reliable.
