Had some lights fitted inside and outside by dave and i really wanted to let people know Dave is friendly, reliable and very trustworthy. Darren is his team are a highly professional bunch which carried out their work to high standards and diligence. A consumer unit replacement job turned into then having to add extra 32amp sockets for my HiFi system didnt sway them. They were more than happy to do the wxtra work. I highly recommend them. This is a fantastic company. We lost power in our home in the early hours of Sunday morning and Clare spent a good couple of hours calling between us and one of their electricians to try and help us resolve the issue. She was diligent, very helpful and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. We eventually managed to get the power back on and identified a faulty socket as the culprit. Clare arranged to get an electrician out to us the following day (we were offered a same day option but decided to wait until Monday). The electricians who came to us were polite knowledgeable and quick workers. They completed the repair with minimal fuss and disruption to us and were completely professional throughout. Clare also completed a follow up with regards to payment confirming that our payment had been received which was appreciated. Overall this company are beyond helpful, very professional, reasonably priced and their customer service is excellent. We will definitely be using them again and we cannot recommend them enough.

We just had Darren check, fix, and finish the entire second fix electrics for our 5 bedroom house and he was excellent. Always shows up on time, works hard, offers help and advice, and the quality of his work is excellent. Would highly recommend and would certainly use him again!

Wonderful service from Able Cable! Early this year had ring doorbell wired installed. Jason worked out how to join into old doorbell wiring. He took time doing the job carefully and left me with doorbell functioning well and wiring inside house very much neater than it had ever been.

I can't fault Able Cable at all. I've used them a couple of times now to add new sockets in the lounge (a double straight to the fuse board & a single socket spliced off existing sockets), centre the lights in the main bedroom and office upstairs, change a tired pendant light to a new LED strip and make a light switch safe to be changed to a chrome switch. I wouldn't look to hire anyone else at this point and I'm looking forward to hiring them again after my holiday to fit an extractor fan, centre some more lights and fit an external light. Cannot recommend these guys enough - very friendly, very efficient, tidied up some complicated wiring & gave me a bit of advice regarding filler for the ceilings and around the new socket.

Am very happy that Able Cable found time to do this job for us. These guys are amazing. The booking is easy. Timely arrival of the professional. Been given a lot of recommendations and safety tips. Received the very clear listed quotation the next day. After ordering the works they came in time and worked hard for 2 days from morning until late in the afternoon. They did everything that was ordered. After they finished when I had questions Roo was very kind and answered my questions, walked with me from room to room and showed and explained what they did and how it all works or how is it all connected and why. Sometimes, you meet a trades person that blows you away. Alfie @ Retrac Electrical, did exactly that. Turned up on time to quote, had integrity and professionalism to go beyond the initial photos that I had sent him, and came to site to do a site inspection. Alfie arrived on time, and within 2 hours of him arriving, we had agreed a price and the job was done. No problems, just solutions. Fantastic job, an electrician you can trust.

We recently had Switched on electrical service come in and do a full rewire on our newly purchased property, As you can imagine we felt slightly overwhelmed with different quotes, but had been recommended to Steve by a family member, and thank god we did. I cannot recommend Steve and Switched on Electrical enough. Where most Contractors tell you what you need without taking into account your ideas, we may not know everything but our input is also valuable and Steve took this into account after many bad experiences with other Electricians. It was nice to speak to someone who was so clear and concise and took our needs into account when planning the work moving forward. We knew what we’d be facing everyday, as we’d planned this ‘TOGETHER’ so we could make arrangements. Always tidied up after themselves, ensured our safety at all times and was so polite.
