Just had Mimi come round to do a few small jobs: replacing a fuse, kitchen light and 2 plug sockets. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and the whole thing was very reasonably priced. Excellent service - thank you! Highly recommended!

I had "Electrical Sockets" work-related issues in my kitchen 06/08/24. Sockets connecting with the fridge, micro wave, kettle, washing machine , ninja cooker were not functioning. The oven however was working. Mimi was the electrical personnel from A A electrical services who attended my property. Mimi was: - Came in with the proper tool bags. Disposable shoe covers , presentable work uniforms and well stoked tool bags. - Brilliant in keeping me informed of the issues. - Sought my permission i.e. at various times to do additional testing that required switching off the mains. - Polite and detailed in explaining to me the options I may need to take and their relative costs. - Excellent listener. She replied with respect to my enquirers. - Kept the work area tidy. I highly recommend Mimi and AA Electrical Services.

Steve arrived to fit a new consumer unit at my dad's house on the 7/9/23 which should have been a relatively straightforward job but unfortunately there was a fault with one of the circuits which Steve worked tirelessly to find. He did find the fault and everything is up and running. I would thoroughly recommend Steve as he is so thorough, conscientious and very hard working. Brilliant!

Jack offered a very efficient, friendly service which was good value for money. He disconnected and then reconnected power and lights to a garden shed fitting in with my timescales which were a little tight. I highly recommend him.

Ben came highly recommended by my sister whom he did some great work for last year. This time around, my mum experienced total power failure in her conservatory/adjoining toilet. Ben arrived early to the appointment, promptly diagnosed the problem and provided an effective solution equally quickly. He also took the time to explain to my elderly mum - in lay person's terms - what the problem was and how he solved it. Aside from being friendly and personable, Ben is honest, which is a rarity these days. Many a tradesman has been known to stretch their hourly call-out rate so they venture into the second hour - even if they’ve discovered the problem within the first hour. But not Ben. He found and fixed the problem within the first hour and charged my mum accordingly. Ben is the consummate professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone in need of a trusted tradesman. He's a top man!

Ben was amazing. Very professional and helpful. He installed a consumer unit, sockets and run cables for future extension. Worked very clean and fast. Everything done in less than a day. Considering that there are so many electricians out there, I couldn't recommend Ben enough. He doesn't know it yet but when the extension is up, he will be the one I call to set up the electricity in the new kitchen. If you have any electrical work that needs to be carried out, give Ben a call and you won't regret making the call and choosing him.

I had to install three ceiling lights, but the first two electricians I contacted said the job was too small and the waiting time would be weeks. Then, I accidentally received a flyer from MTR Electrics and decided to call them. I received a quote and booked an appointment on the same day! It was amazing! This is my second only review on Google and a follow-up to my first. After a devastating disappointment with installers from my 1st review, I called Simon because he was the only one to inform me that my Smart panel would require a different installation procedure that was also apparently indicated by the manufacturer’s website. He didn’t require any information from the manufacturer. This was based on his thorough research and understanding of the mechanics behind the system. What a breath of fresh air to have a good technician by your side. Needless to say, He agreed to a fixed price after inspecting the mess that was left behind by the previous electricians and performed the following tasks: Repositioned and rewire the unit. Remove the 25mm conduits and replace them with 32mm. Installed an additional fusebox and tidied my consumer unit. I honestly have not met a more a professional person in this line of work. I am very grateful to have your competence and will highly recommend your service.
