I just want to give a massive shout-out to Alfie and the team at Drainage That Works for saving the day at our workshop recently. After a big downpour, we found ourselves with a serious problem, our main entrance to the estate was completely flooded. For a business like ours, that’s a big issue. Being mechanics, we thought, “How hard can it be?” So, we grabbed our tools and gave it a go. Safe to say, we didn’t get very far! That’s when we decided it was time to call in the professionals, and I’m so glad we did. Alfie’s team were brilliant from start to finish. They turned up within 24 hours, right when they said they would, no messing about. From the moment they arrived, you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. They got stuck straight into the job, working with precision and care. Before we knew it, the drain was unblocked, the water was gone, and the entrance was back to normal, all within the space of an hour. They didn’t just stop at getting the job done. They also provided before-and-after photos to show exactly what had been sorted. It’s that kind of attention to detail that really stood out to me. And the icing on the cake? The cost was VERY reasonable. For the quality of service they provided, it was worth every penny. If you’re ever in need of drainage experts, I can’t recommend Alfie and his team highly enough. These guys are angels in disguise. I cannot rate Alfie, Charlie & their team enough. They are hard working, extremely professional, tidy in their work & nothing was too much trouble. Having never used KJ Plumbing before, I saw a few positive reviews and called Steve out to look at the plumbing in my flat a couple of years ago. After a full boiler install and a few call outs and services, I have to say, Steve is one of the best trades I've worked with. Contacted Steve about a few issues I was having that needed looking at and replacing (bathroom taps, external waste pipe, etc). He came over promptly, accessed the issues and gave me a date when they'll be over to fix them. On the day they were quick and efficient, fixed or replaced everything to a high standard. Had a water leak in what is an old metal pipe underneath the bathroom floor. Bal responded quickly to the call (late on Saturday evening) and helped control the leak straightaway. He returned back the next day (as agreed dot on the clock) with the right parts to fix the leak. It was tricky pipework with all sorts of access issues, but Bal found the way to fix it. Very professional, punctual and more importantly excellent quality work.

Did a great job. Had a gas leak and came out same day to propose a creative solution that meant the job needed doing only once and properly, when the gas company was suggesting a stop gap solution that would mean doing it twice at greater expense. Would definitely recommend and use again. Work was carried out quickly to a high standard and all mess cleared away.

I had been renovating a flat but unfortunately had an issue with a drain blockage. I was in need of fairly urgent assistance. Alvin was on time, polite and sorted out the problem in a quick and efficient manner. He had all the kit that was required to help clear the drains - with his camera (and some dye I put down the toilet) I could see the drains working again and the problem was resolved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this excellent (and fairly priced) service.

I called Highway Plumbing and Drainage to resolve a blocked drain. They were with me within three hours and resolved the issue quickly. James and his colleague came to fit our new boiler last week that we had purchased via Boxt. I can speak highly enough of the service Acute provided. They were incredible professional and considerate of the Covid situation we are all in. They had to carry out some additional pipe work to convert the old gas pipes, but this was undertaken without any fuss and the work was completed to a very high standard. From a time spent ons site perspective, again, they arrived on time (8am), having called the night before to confirm all details and were finished by around 3pm, having left the work area clean and tidy. Called Oz as my central heating was not working. He made availability for the same day to help me. After I DIY diagnosed the issue as a diverter valve failure, Oz inspected the boiler and found the real issue to be a faulty thermostat. If there ever was a "leave it to the professionals" moment, it was this. I had a new Google NEST that I kept meaning to get installed so this was a sign. Oz made quick work of the installation and my central heating was back! As far as first experiences go, this was great. Cant fault Oz and I found my new go to for anything boiler related!

Andy came to fix my boiler within 24 hours. He even doesn’t mind work on Sat. He is quite professional and experienced to check my boiler and accurately identified the problem. He replaced a new fan and my boiler resumed its functioning. He also conducted a regular check on my boiler. He is generous to give me advice on how to maintain my boiler and gas system. He didn’t mind answering my questions and explaining in details. He is tidy and would not make my place messy. He finished the installation and checking within 2 hours. Good job!
