An overview of my personal experience of the respective company: Mr Dean Pugh has proved himself to be a consummate professional, having undertaken tasks of a range of sizes. I had originally located ‘DRP Plumbing and Heating’ via another well-known review site and although based in Ashford his target area did indeed cover Kent as a whole. The primary task was the selection and installation of an energy efficient boiler (with as long a manufacturer’s warranty as possible) by a 'Gas Safe' registered engineer of long-standing. Given just how positive the pre-existing reviews were, I included his in a round of quotations. Dean readily inspired the essential level of confidence and the task was duly assigned. His attention to detail proved to be second to none and the boiler has indeed been a very sound investment in the years since. It was also pleasing to note the importance placed by Dean on leaving the installation area in a very tidy condition (which cannot, unfortunately, always be assumed these days). A couple of years later I found that my bathroom cistern had developed a really annoying slow leak; without hesitation I again called upon DRP’s services and the issue was rectified very promptly.

Dean has been our go-to plumber for the last eight years. He has done a variety of plumbing work for us over the years and I recently called him about a leakage in one of the pipes where the hot water cylinder is and also a leakage from one of our radiators. He responded promptly and came over to have a look and identified the cause of the problem and fixed it very efficiently as usual. His customer service is excellent; he is very curtiuos, understanding and helpful. Competent, knowledgable, clean and tidy. Very professional. Dean is an honest and reliable guy and I have always found his quotes to be very competitive. Finding a tradesman you can trust and build a relationship with when it comes to repair and maintenance work is a big plus and Dean is one of those people. We would thoroughly recommend him and will call him again when we need any plumbing work undertaken.

Lee and the whole team at Aqua Heat have been fantastic from start to finish. From our initial enquiry through to completion took only 9 days and considering it was a ‘stress purchase’ due to water coming through the ceiling it couldn’t have been made simpler and easier for us. Recently had a new boiler fitted by Ryan and Ki from Aquaheat. We were really pleased with the service from getting a quote to having the work carried out. Clean, tidy and professional service. Their aftercare service is also exceptionally high quality, we called up in the afternoon due to a noise coming from the pipes after fitting and an engineer was out the next day to resolve it. We would definitely recommend this excellent local business.

From the initial call out to the final installation of our new boiler it was so smooth. The diagnostic guy was fair didn’t push having a new boiler gave clear advice. The lady on the phone from start to finish was so professional and efficient. One the day Ki and Matt arrived welcomed me with a handshake, respected my property. They installed the boiler quick and so clean no mess, mats laid down to protect the floor. They are a credit to the company!! I’d definitely recommend this company and will get them to service the boiler too. Thank you ☺️

Milcol Plumbing and Heating did a brilliant job of our new bathroom. Joe and Marc are meticulous workers and do put their customers first. Milcol organised all the trades needed to make our installation successful; they also took the time to make a few suggestions they felt would make a difference: this included replacing the rather flimsy bath side panel provided with the suite we purchased with a far more sturdy alternative, they just went the extra mile with everything. I recently had a walk-in shower fitted by Chivers. The company earned 5 stars every step of the way. Quick response, excellent communication from all the staff. It was a real pleasure to deal with Jake, the main fitter for the project, Jay, who measured up and gave advice as well as assisting Jake and John Chivers who worked with Jake installing shower boards.. First may I thank Tyrone and Ben for being so efficient in dealing with my plumbing issues haha! I have never in all the time living in Tenterden for 7 years have I had “professionals” arrange to visit and deal with the issues so promptly and in one whole day! I should know as I have had many quotes request for maintaining this home with some so called professionals not even turning up or me waiting with zero communications to actually do the job! This was an unplanned messy job for Tyrone and Ben involving clearing the main drains which they dealt with so efficiently. I told them I had blocked up sink but they discovered that it was much more than that but just went on to deal with it all in the same day along with new kitchen taps/plumbing and installing a long awaited brand new shower unit needed (waiting on other plumbers) . By the way, Ben was as efficient as you Tyrone when left to do the finishing plumbing appliances. Very courteous and arrived ready to show me the product he had ordered and collected (on the same day) for my shower and kitchen sink before installing them. Checking that I was happy with what was ordered. I am a very patient homeowner who understands that contractors are busy all times of the. year. All I ask is that they take the time to communicate instead of leaving me waiting... TG Plumbers and Bathrooms surprised me with their excellent service which involved explaining step by step what needed to be done. I felt so happy to be treated with respect and felt like I had a new kitchen and bathroom again! I will certainly recommend them and use them again.

Josh was absolutely great - called him in the morning with an F75 boiler error and he attended that same day.
