Cannot fault the service from Tidal Heating. We had no heating or hot water & they came out straight away, even though they were fully booked. Lee fixed the problem straight away. Maxine & all of the other staff are a pleasure to speak to. Cannot recommend enough.

After struggling with blocked drains for weeks, I contacted KJP Plumbing & Heating, and they resolved the issue the same day! Their emergency plumbing services in Southampton are truly a lifesaver. As a DIYer (the good type!), I went in to try and get some replacement parts for a nasty bodge job a previous owner did, after recently moving into a new house and the chap behind the counter was more than happy to discuss the issue and come up with the best solution. Their range isn’t the greatest I’ll admit but they’re by no means unhelpful and their slightly higher prices than Screwfix/Toolstation are justified for the knowledgable service.

Tony couldn't have been more helpful when I called on Saturday morning because Mum had a leaking radiator. He was round there within fifteen minutes, and got things sorted out quickly and effectively. I would absolutely recommend him.

This was the first time I had used Alfords but as my previous plumber had retired I booked a boiler service with them on the recommendation of a friend. Fantastic service from being able to book online through to engineer arriving as per the appointment and with invoicing and payment online, what could be easier! Very friendly, polite and well informed guy (Phil) who was extremely helpful. No mess and treated my home with respect, even taking his shoes off without being asked! Adam & Joe suggested an alternative cheaper option of a purpose built dog shower rather than the shower enclosure we had asked for & they were spot on. No more carrying a muddy cocker up the stairs to have the bathroom walls spattered. Job left clean & tidy and is used most days. Would highly recommend Platinum for your plumbing needs.

Thank you so much to Platinum Plumbing for helping us out on more than one occasion now. We had boiler issues over Christmas and despite their family being on a Christmas break, they went out of their way to come and fit a new boiler for us. They offered options, helping us pick a good deal to suit our budget. I've used Gair a few times and have only good things to say. Every person attending has been polite and professional and gone above and beyond to give me advice about the heating and gas systems in my house. The first visit this year was a routine boiler inspection and service as I wasn't sure if I needed a new boiler (just bought an old house), the engineer advised me that although old, the boiler was in good working order, but he could have easily recommended I get a new one - as a different company had - and I'd have been none the wiser! Plus, he spent extra time investigating where an old gas pipe from a gas fire went which I wanted removed. The second visit was the installation of new radiators across the whole house and a hive heating system. The guys did a great job and left me with a wonderfully heated home! Definitely recommend for honest open advice and professional service.

Excellent very professional service. We were looking for new plumbers after our previous one retired. We went by the reviews and are glad we chose Gair Gas. We had a new boiler fitted and it all went very well. Both Sams who attended did an excellent job and were very friendly polite and professional. The office staff were also very polite and helpful. As I’m vulnerable the Company very helpfully expedited the works. The added bonus is that they also do electrics etc and we are looking forward to joining the Home Shield cover as it will give us peace of mind.

Another excellent job by Chris, this time replacing an ailing boiler. I’ve used Chris' services for several years at our own home and at our rental properties and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Over the years, he has dealt with everything from regularly servicing boilers and performing Gas Safety Checks, to emergencies such as handling leaks and heating faults and big projects such as fitting a new boiler and a Honeywell smart heating system. Recommended, a great company. I’m very pleased with the quality and speed of work done at a good price. Steve was very responsive to all communications and accommodating to fit the job in quickly. The guys are very knowledgeable, experienced and take pride in their work. I will definitely be using them again and recommending to friends Work done: A cracked and leaking 50 gallon loft water tank spurred me into replacing the vented hot water and heating system (300 litre tank) and very noisy pump with an unvented/pressurised system. No more irritating pump noise when turning on the hot water. No mess, no stress, the work was carried out efficiently by Daryl and Steve, everything works perfectly with good pressure. An access hole was required to be cut into the hall ceiling for the tank blow off valve drain. Steve had pin point precision in locating the drain to be tapped into. They organised decorators to skim and paint the repair to as good as new. A top job.
