Dan did a brilliant job solving a plumbing problem in my house several years ago and I’ve been highly recommending him to other people ever since. This month he took on another challenging project and he again showed his first-rate skills and attention to detail - and I now have a beautiful new bathroom. Dan is always courteous, patient and totally trustworthy and I’ll continue to recommend him without reservation.

Week before Xmas, boiler wasn’t working. Found Dan online and he had it all fixed within 36 hours. The company I had used for years for servicing take longer than that to answer the phone. Will ask Dan if he wants to take over servicing once Xmas out of the way. RECOMMEND.

Dan and Al replaced our old failing boiler with a new Combi boiler. From the start, we had great communication from Dan. He is clearly knowledgeable, professional and has a calm nature. Just as well, as a lot of the work was in quite confined spaces, removing and modifying pipework. Great work, thoroughly recommended.

Work finished to a very high standard. As well as correcting and streamlining old pipework. Was left in a mess from another plumber and Nick came and fixed and corrected the work. Would highly recommend for bathroom installations, can do a complete job so you don’t have to get multiple workers for one job.

Macca came out to sort out a loud noise that was coming from upstairs. I was notified by text of timings. He was such a polite young man and knew what he was doing. He didn’t take any shortcuts and even though it was 5pm he kept working until the job was finished. 100% recommend this company. Macca is a credit to your company.

We used Mark Smith Plumbing last year to install our new boiler so we asked them to replace 2 leaking syphon valves in 2 toilets. Despite some difficulties in obtaining the correct parts and the job expanding into a bigger one, we were very pleased with the final result and the final invoice was very acceptable.

We were very pleased with the work (new bathroom) that Mark Smith did for us. Their advice with design and choice of materials was really helpful. The office staff made themselves available whenever we needed information and responded promptly to our questions. The quotation was clearly set out and reasonable. The tradesmen who worked on the project were thorough, careful and clearly very skilled. They kept us up to speed with what they were doing and were very considerate when it came to the inconveniences of having to turn off the water supply! They were punctual throughout and completed the work in the promised two and a half weeks. Overall, we'd have no reservations in recommending them.

I could not be more impressed. We had an issue with our air source heat pump system. ECS responded immediately and identified the issue instantly. They suggested several options and talked through each with us. They did a superb job and constantly kept cost in mind ensuring we received the most cost effective repair. Ross and the team at ECS have helped with various things over he passed couple of years, heat pump servicing, plumbing work etc and they’ve been fantastic. Great company, very well organised and reliable.

I've used ECS for a number of jobs both large and small. We did extensive remodelling in our house and used ECS to completely re-plumb the building, fitting new underfloor heating and radiators, boiler and plant room. They did a great job and over the past 4 years I've used them for annual boiler maintenance, tap leaks and more recently sorting out a drain issue. ECS are always on time and have often coming out quickly or at short notice.
