Adam & Joe suggested an alternative cheaper option of a purpose built dog shower rather than the shower enclosure we had asked for & they were spot on. No more carrying a muddy cocker up the stairs to have the bathroom walls spattered. Job left clean & tidy and is used most days. Would highly recommend Platinum for your plumbing needs.

We had boiler issues over Christmas and despite their family being on a Christmas break, they went out of their way to come and fit a new boiler for us. They offered options, helping us pick a good deal to suit our budget. They worked hard to instal as quick as possible to get our home heated again and left our house tidy and mess free when they were finished. Communication is great, and invoicing is clear. My family have used them for years so they are well trusted and we won’t use any other company now.

I will definitely be using them again and recommending to friends Work done: A cracked and leaking 50 gallon loft water tank spurred me into replacing the vented hot water and heating system (300 litre tank) and very noisy pump with an unvented/pressurised system. No more irritating pump noise when turning on the hot water. No mess, no stress, the work was carried out efficiently by Daryl and Steve, everything works perfectly with good pressure. An access hole was required to be cut into the hall ceiling for the tank blow off valve drain. Steve had pin point precision in locating the drain to be tapped into. They organised decorators to skim and paint the repair to as good as new. A top job.

Jon has done a brilliant job of totally refurbishing our bathroom. Everything was taken care of so no need to arrange any other service providers. Work was carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard (I’m particularly fussy as I used to work with architects on large refurbishments). He is a lovely dependable chap who fitted in well with the family and got on with the job with a smile and a sense of humour. I shall definitely have him back to do my kitchen.

Kevin did a lovely job with our tricky bathroom. The tiles look amazing and have made such a difference. The grouting and sealing is really tidy and so much better than what we had before. I used this company a couple of times recently- to fix a squealing toilet & repair a leak in another. Different engineers came out & both were brilliant! They explained what needed doing & why. Both were friendly yet professional & very efficient. One of the engineers came out twice (to assess the issue & then to repair it). On the second visit he remembered me saying that I only moved in a few months ago & he made sure I knew where my stop cocks were & how to use them (the information the previous owner left wasn't entirely clear!). He also answered other questions I had. Also, the office staff who I spoke to on the phone were excellent. Extremely helpful & ensuring that the jobs were booked in on suitable timescales. I thoroughly recommend this company & will certainly use them in the future. A real find.

Nik replaced our broken boiler as an emergency as we had no hot water or heating. He kindly fitted us in and did an excellent job, was neat and tidy and very friendly. Rory and Dave recently fitted a new boiler and bathroom towel radiator in my home. From my first meeting with Rory, I was impressed with these guys. Let’s be honest - no one wants to spend a lot of money on a new boiler unexpectedly but Rory and Dave made the experience less painful!
