This was excellent tutoring from a teacher who understands what is needed and how to help children achieve it. The best thing was that it was welcoming, encouraging and confidence building. My daughter actually really enjoyed the sessions. Nicola’s input has also really improved her performance in class. I would highly recommend.

Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. I had a very positive experience at Winchester Kumon Centre, both as a Kumon student (throughout my primary and secondary school years) and later as an assistant working at the centre. The Kumon method helped me to develop specific maths and literacy skills, but also enabled me to develop independent study skills and a positive approach to learning.
