My daughter loves the online science classes with teacher Sri at Kip McGrath. She's become a lot more confident since starting, and she really enjoys the lessons. The team is super organized and friendly, and they always keep us in the loop. If you're looking for a great place for extra help with school, I highly recommend Kip McGrath.

My daughter has only done 4 sessions and has achieved a great mark in her end of year Maths exam which we are delighted with, as it sets her up to have a confident start after the summer holidays in the next year. Kip McGrath is worth every penny in giving confidence and exam skills. My son also attended a couple of years ago for his Maths GCSE and I am certain would not have passed without the training he had here. A very clever and expensive private tutor for 2 years did not help him as much as Kip McGrath did. Highly recommended.

Both of my children are attending Maths and English classes. I am very happy with the Kip team. They tailor education plan based on individual needs, provide regular feedback about children's progress, and advice on how children can be supported at home. My children loved attending Kip classes, and their exam results were very good. I highly recommend Kip if you want to fill in education gaps, prepare for exams or give an extra boost. Nicola is an excellent tutor and we highly recommend. She successfully tutored our son to pass the 11+ exam. Our son enjoyed her sessions and looked forward to attending each week. The sessions were engaging and spot on in content and the exam preparation made sure our son felt calm and focused on the day. We will definitely use Nicola again for our second child.

Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.

I would confidently recommend Kara Cook without any hesitation at all, my daughter is 10 years old and was struggling though the lockdown period, she wasn't enjoying Maths and had very little confidence. I feel blessed to have found Kara who was able to bring back the fun in learning and she has a lovely way of communicating with children. My daughters school teacher has even committed on how well Sofia is doing and that she has a deep understanding of maths- words I never thought I would hear!

Kumon has proved invaluable for both our children, especially during this pandemic. It ensured the kids kept learning everyday. Our youngest is in year 6 and thanks to his progress in both maths and English, goes into senior school with the confidence he needs, as he is currently 2 years above where he needs to be in the curriculum. Our eldest is in year 9 and in his words ' I would have fallen behind without the help of Kumon while we were learning from home'. As parents, you need to also put the effort in, but the rewards really do speak for themselves. Chen and the Kumon Team are always there for us and willing to help. It really is one of the best investments you can make for forwarding your children's education.

I had a very positive experience at Winchester Kumon Centre, both as a Kumon student (throughout my primary and secondary school years) and later as an assistant working at the centre. The Kumon method helped me to develop specific maths and literacy skills, but also enabled me to develop independent study skills and a positive approach to learning. Working at the centre was also a valuable experience, and I enjoyed working as part of a friendly and competent team. I would definitely recommend the centre for students of any age or ability who want to pursue their personal learning goals.

My son came to Adolf having to resit his Maths GCSE in order to progress to the next stage in his learning journey. He had completely lost faith in himself that he would be able to pass with gaps in his learning due to Covid times. Adolf is truly an amazing maths tutor. His cool, calm and gentle manner has really helped my sons mathematical competence. He explains each topic clearly until it is fully understood and then retests them at a later date, making sure the information has definitely sunk in. This is backed up with homework and revision . My son has been studying English and Maths at the Kumon Chandler's Ford Centre with Varsha and her assistants for 9 months now. Due to Varsha's excellent teaching and guidance, my son has improved immensely in his reading, writing, and maths. Thanks to the dedicated support he receives, he has built so much confidence and resilience as well. He is always so happy to visit the centre and spend his time there in a nurturing environment. I cannot recommend Varsha enough. I am pleased with the progress my two children are making with their Maths and English. They have gained so much confidence since starting the Kumon program, especially my oldest, who is Autistic, as it has provided him with the academic support he needs to remain in mainstream school. I’m not going to lie; it is hard work, but if done with consistency, it builds confidence and resilience, not to mention their academic progress. Varsha and her assistants are always accommodating and professional. What makes it great is that the assistants have been on the programme, have the insight required, and can relate to the students whom they support.

I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. Furthermore, when we answered long question types we would use an interactive whiteboard to answer the questions, and he would regularly check our work and provide areas of improvement for our answers. Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.

I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.
