I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.

Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. Hi, we used Jillian in year 11 to help Sam with his Maths ready for GCSE’s. He found her to be very supportive, calm and liked her teaching methods. He became much more confident in himself with her support and it was definitely the right thing to do! I’m not a native English speaker so I wasn’t confident to speak with people around me. I was worried about this. However, Marie is doing great things to help me improve my English speaking, reading and writing skills. She is a fantastic and very talented tutor. I definitely enjoy my online lessons twice a week with a friendly and supportive teacher who gives me useful advice and tips for dealing with specific English expressions. Since my son (now in year 6) started tuition sessions with Marie six month ago, I have noticed a good improvement in his school work. He is now achieving much better on the subjects covered (Maths abd English). His last year end report showed a good deal of improvement. My son enjoys the tuition sessions as Marie engages him very well and keeps the sessions interactive. Marie is an excellent communicator, always providing me with necessary updates and changes. Both of my children are attending Maths and English classes. I am very happy with the Kip team.
