I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. Tash at Teatime Tutors came highly recommended to me from a friend. She offered an online introductory session with my son and by the end of this he felt totally at ease with her kind, funny and encouraging manner. Over the one year that we have worked with Tash she has really helped my son grown in confidence, to find his voice and own his opinions. Tash has a great manner with children and so can help them realise their mistakes without feeling upset but to grow and improve. It has been a fantastic experience overall. Tash has helped us tremendously in supporting our daughter in preparation for Wandsworth test. We can highly recommend Tash as a very focused but fun tutor. Tash is an incredibly caring, kind and special tutor. She built up a great connection with my son very quickly, and they developed a great friendship over zoom (including lots of laughing!) which allowed my son to feel at ease whilst working on topics that were challenging for him. I felt Tash really got to understand what my son needed in terms of 11+ help in a very short space of time, was incredible gentle and I couldn't recommend her more highly. And - his grades really improved, along with his confidence and enthusaism for areas he had previously found challenging.

Kumon has proved invaluable for both our children, especially during this pandemic. It ensured the kids kept learning everyday. Our youngest is in year 6 and thanks to his progress in both maths and English, goes into senior school with the confidence he needs, as he is currently 2 years above where he needs to be in the curriculum. Our eldest is in year 9 and in his words ' I would have fallen behind without the help of Kumon while we were learning from home'. As parents, you need to also put the effort in, but the rewards really do speak for themselves. Chen and the Kumon Team are always there for us and willing to help. It really is one of the best investments you can make for forwarding your children's education.

I had a very positive experience at Winchester Kumon Centre, both as a Kumon student (throughout my primary and secondary school years) and later as an assistant working at the centre. The Kumon method helped me to develop specific maths and literacy skills, but also enabled me to develop independent study skills and a positive approach to learning. Working at the centre was also a valuable experience, and I enjoyed working as part of a friendly and competent team. I would definitely recommend the centre for students of any age or ability who want to pursue their personal learning goals.

Kumon has been a great investment into my children's (11 and 13) education over the last 2 years and Chen and the Kumon Winchester team provide exceptional service. I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts.
