I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.

I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. We really appreciated this honesty, and I would absolutely recommend the free assessment to get objective feedback on how your child is performing academically. I would definitely use I Love to Learn for any future tutoring for my daughter.

Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.

My 11yr old son and 9 year old daughter have been attending My Learning Land with Louisa for years now. I took my children out of school due to special needs and bullying. Louisa is a highly experienced teacher with an amazing classroom. The children have set homework each day and Louisa makes sure each child has the adequate work/teaching needed for their learning needs. Louisa provides the most amazing service and my children love her! Louisa provides the perfect school environment for my children and we 100% recommend her. We would be lost without her!! Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. The one to one sessions he received were extremely effective and he progressed well in a short space of time, and managed to pass his Maths GCSE! The team at 'I love to learn' are not only professional but approachable and friendly too. I feel they were particularly supportive and kind to our son and I would therefore highly recommend them.

My son due to been bilingual as English is not his first Language ,and being out of school at reception and half year 1 due to pandemic, and being identified with language disorder and luck of communication,starting at I love to Learn ,was one of the best decisions I have made for him( delayed though) as Since he started ,he liked been there and he had a very big progress during a short period of time. I've really enjoyed learning Italian with Adam. Before starting lessons with Adam, I started with an online language school with native Italian tutors, which was helpful but I had a hard time connecting Italian to English. Adam changed that for me. He's brilliant at showing how Italian and English relate and explains the logic behind language rules in a way that native speakers might not realise. Adam is great at simplifying the challenging aspects of Italian. He makes everything, from grammar to idiomatic expressions, very accessible. He's always patient and incredibly supportive, giving me a boost whenever I face difficult parts of the language.

Adam is a fantastic tutor, he is extremely knowledgeable and the lessons are at a great pace. The materials are easy to read and Adam always has a tip to hand for how to digest and apply the material. I would have no hesitation for recommending Adam for anyone who wants to learn a new language

I have been learning French with Adam for nearly a year now. Initially I thought I could learn the language on my own using a language app. After a few lessons with Adam, I learnt that I won't have grasped and appreciated the uniqueness and richness of the language without having a language tutor. Taking lessons with Adam is very beneficial as I get to ask questions on word usage, composition and pronunciation, I also have many homework to do. Adam, merci beaucoup!

I've been learning basic French for some time now with Adam and it's been great. Adam's very patient and is very good at going at the pace that suits you as the leaner. I particularly like the handouts he uses which gives a very useful structure to the sessions and also something to refer to in your own time. Adam is always on time, without fail, makes maximum use of the 1 hour session, and is very organised in booking holidays/time off. I would definitely recommend using Adam for learning French.

My 8 year old daughter lacked confidence in Maths and was not on track at school at the start of the year but she has been doing Kumon now for a few months and her confidence has grown , she is making links in everyday day life ( adding up her pocket money, knowing how much change she will have when buying things ) and we have just had parents evening and she is now on track in Maths at school ! We are so impressed with the improvement she has made in a small space of time! Highly recommend for any child who lacks confidence and needs an extra boost. It is little and often only takes my daughter 10minutes a day so not overwhelming and always tailored to her ability!

My two daughters have been doing Kumon maths with Jan in Fareham for 4 years, since they were in reception year. It has massively helped both of them excel at school in every subject. The mental maths and the muscle memory they gain from doing Kumon has given them the ability of getting work done precisely in a short time. It has also given them the discipline they sometimes need. Jan and Angela are amazing. My girls love seeing them in the class. My daughter once said to me Jan is so good at teaching. Both Jan and Angela have given them the guidance, the gentle pressure and the patience they need to excel. So thank you to Jan and Angela for giving my children such a strong background and foundation in achieving at school. I definitely recommend Kumon to everyone 😊

Everyday kumon practice has make a huge improvement to my son. His school teachers are very happy with his work on math. He goes to year 2 but he could able to do higher than his level.
