I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. We really appreciated this honesty, and I would absolutely recommend the free assessment to get objective feedback on how your child is performing academically. Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.

Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.

This was excellent tutoring from a teacher who understands what is needed and how to help children achieve it. The best thing was that it was welcoming, encouraging and confidence building. Kumon has been amazing for my kids. They have excelled in both Maths and English since attending from a young age. It has been incredibly helpful and rewarding for them. My son has been studying English and Maths at the Kumon Chandler's Ford Centre with Varsha and her assistants for 9 months now. Due to Varsha's excellent teaching and guidance, my son has improved immensely in his reading, writing, and maths. Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. The one to one sessions he received were extremely effective and he progressed well in a short space of time, and managed to pass his Maths GCSE! The team at 'I love to learn' are not only professional but approachable and friendly too. I feel they were particularly supportive and kind to our son and I would therefore highly recommend them.

Paul was a lecturer for one of my modules and have kept in touch with him through out my studying. Once I had my oral booked I signed up for the e-learning and booked in clinics and 1-2-1s. The e-learning is very thorough and gives a lot of information on all topics. The clinics are a great way to meet study buddies and learn a lot of different information. The privates sessions are great and all the tutors will tailor them to your needs. Paul himself is a great person, he's always at the end of the phone when you need a bit of advice or lost in all the studying. Highly recommend using Whitehorse for any oral prep.

I came across Whitehorse a bit by accident when looking for places to do my Master's Unlimited ticket, but I'm so glad that I did. Paul and the team were amazingly helpful and their online learning modules were great and allowed me to study at my own pace and at my own time. Their 1-1 tutor sessions were excellent preparation for doing my oral exam and thanks to their help I passed first time. Can't recommend Whitehorse highly enough, certainly much better and more cost effective than going to one of the colleges.

Whitehorse has great content for learning at your own pace. The tutors are all excellent & have a vast amount of experience to help get you through. The varying personal in this modern era of online orals also helps you prepare better for any examiner also I feel. The e-learning is constantly updating, with a mixture of videos, interactive Learning & quizzes and even some AI, which was excellent. Paul ensures you are keeping on track throughout & feeling confident by the time the bjg day comes around. Tim has made a huge difference in my daughter's A-Levels maths. She was really struggling to understand the jump from GCSE to A-Levels maths. Her teachers at school went through the lessons very quickly. Tim explained all the topics my daughter found difficult. As a result she went from a B to A☆. This enhanced her confidence. What can i say, I feel we have found the perfect tutor. Maths GCSE Chess Physics We had been struggling with our year 6 son for a couple of years as he has a natural aptitude for mathematics and was not getting any challenge from school and disengaging. After talking with numerous tutors i found Tim and had the most positive engaging conversation and his passion was unbelievable. The relationship our Son and Tim have developed is truly amazing, so much so that we have now increased lessons to include chess and Physics.......If Tim taught sewing i am sure Oscar would engage 100% he is just that kind of guy that make everything interesting. Our son is now looking to take his Maths GCSE a few years early and that is all down to Tim. he is now engaged, passionate and looks forward to every lesson. Communication is fantastic, we have regular conversations and a lot of discussions about direction and progress. We would highly recommend Tim and his team of fantastic teachers. We discovered that our 15 year old son was well behind in his Maths and Science six months before his GCSE exams. He was also going through a difficult period in school at the time. Tim, Sonja and Mustapha were very positive and encouraging and patient with him. Our son also found the lessons with them to be interesting and engaging and he was able to focus the whole time. We are so pleased that we contacted Tim to support our 12 year old son’s Maths learning. After some negative experiences of Maths in Year 6 and year 7, his confidence in Maths was low. He had been moved down a group after a low test result and many changes of teacher in Year 7. After an initial chat with Tim, I was so impressed with his knowledge and understanding of Maths learning. I would confidently recommend Kara Cook without any hesitation at all, my daughter is 10 years old and was struggling though the lockdown period, she wasn't enjoying Maths and had very little confidence. I am very impressed with Explore Learning. Let me provide a real life scenario how Explore Learning helped my Srihan to reach where we intended. - I enrolled Srihan 2 years back in Explore Learning. He was doing OK at that point but needed improvement. Our main intention was for 11+ and we were targeting grammar school nearby. - Within next 2-3 months, I saw the improvement. Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her if you are an adult wishing to pick up or polish your French or Spanish. We also laugh a lot!
