My daughter currently has tutoring with Cate for English in preparation for her GCSE examinations. My daughter has really enjoyed these sessions from the start, and looks forward to them! Cate has been reassuring and given my daughter confidence. The sessions are creative and have been very helpful and inspiring, whether in person or on Zoom. Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her if you are an adult wishing to pick up or polish your French or Spanish. We also laugh a lot!

Cate was very good at assessing where our son was with his French and systematically helped him work on his weaker areas. His confidence in his ability to speak, read and write in French grew beyond what he ever imagined he would achieve, with the final proof being a very respectable GCSE grade. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cate as a tutor.

I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. Can’t thank Sumit and Aarzoo enough for the help and support they gave my son in preparation for his GCSEs last year, which undoubtedly helped him achieve a whole two grades above his expected grade in his final exams for Maths. Aarzoo helped him to understand the more tricky areas in a relatable way he could understand and therefore gave him the confidence when sitting his exams. I would confidently recommend Kara Cook without any hesitation at all, my daughter is 10 years old and was struggling though the lockdown period, she wasn't enjoying Maths and had very little confidence. I feel blessed to have found Kara who was able to bring back the fun in learning and she has a lovely way of communicating with children. My daughters school teacher has even committed on how well Sofia is doing and that she has a deep understanding of maths- words I never thought I would hear!

I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. Furthermore, when we answered long question types we would use an interactive whiteboard to answer the questions, and he would regularly check our work and provide areas of improvement for our answers. Myself and my partner have been taking lessons through Chris Polatch for around 18 months now and we find them to be both professional and friendly. Clare has been very helpful and is always quick to answer any emails. Our tutor Paty, is amazing. She makes each lesson interesting and fun with just the right amount of difficultly to progress quickly without feeling overwhelmed. As a result, we have both just passed our international GCSE with a grade 8 and are extremely happy. I would 100% recommend both Paty and Chris Polatch Language School for anyone looking to learn Spanish.

I relocated back to the UK and really struggled to find a Mandarin tutor for my daughter until I came across Chris Polatch Language Courses. Both of my children are attending Maths and English classes. I am very happy with the Kip team. They tailor education plan based on individual needs, provide regular feedback about children's progress, and advice on how children can be supported at home. My daughter has only done 4 sessions and has achieved a great mark in her end of year Maths exam which we are delighted with, as it sets her up to have a confident start after the summer holidays in the next year. Kip McGrath is worth every penny in giving confidence and exam skills. My son also attended a couple of years ago for his Maths GCSE and I am certain would not have passed without the training he had here. A very clever and expensive private tutor for 2 years did not help him as much as Kip McGrath did. Highly recommended.
