My eldest started with Jo at 4 years old and has been with her for the last 8 years. They have achieved so much over this time at the centre and this has been recognised by teachers at school - with one teacher calling them a super fast math computer. As a result, younger one also started at around the same age and is also working well - also developing their confidence at trying the next level. Jo and her assistants have always been encouraging whenever either child found any questions or topics hard to understand. Would recommend Jo to anyone.

I am extremely happy with the progress my 2 children are making with their Maths and English. They have gained so much confidence since starting the Kumon program. Kumon Basingstoke Centre have been wonderful from day one. The tutor Jo and all the staff are always very helpful and professional.

Delighted with Jo and her personalised dedication to her students. My son has improved his concentration and numeracy even though he only started a couple of weeks ago. Hettie was a fantastic tutor. She stepped in at short notice to provide some entrance exam tuition and delivered the sessions calmly and efficiently, packing in as much as possible, yet very manageably!

We have been absolutely delighted with the tutoring and support Hettie has given to our 12 year old daughter whilst she prepared for Year 8 grammar school entrance tests. Hettie has a perfect combination of warmth, enthusiasm, focus, expertise and clarity. Her lessons flow beautifully and she covers so much during her lessons and through the homework she sets. Hettie is always encouraging, inspiring and extremely supportive. It was wonderful to see our daughter's confidence and knowledge grow over the series of lessons. We feel so fortunate to have found Hettie and are extremely grateful for her support in helping our daughter receive an offer of a grammar school place. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. Without him she would have never gone from a grade 3 to a grade 6, we would highly recommend him to anybody in need of a maths or science tutor! Mr and Mrs Stone

As a family we have had experience of how Kumon can help a childs knowledge and confidence by going back to basics and progressing through all the levels. When our daughter began to struggle with Maths in year 2 we started her at the centre with Reema. The secret is plain and simple repetition and little and often. It has been especially helpful to be able to continue throughout lockdown and although we haven't had our weekly face to face sessions Reema has been very good in keeping contact and support over video messaging. Kumon continues through all the school holidays making sure the children don't slip back.

I would highly recommend Kumon programme as it really helped my son to increase his efficiency on Maths calculations and gave him a solid knowledge on Grammar and English comprehension. Reema's management of the center is excellent. Her connection with the pupils and parents is remarkable and contributes in no small measure to their academic development in Maths and English. The impact on my children (boy and girl) is profound. They are confident and interested in the subjects. They look forward going to the center and doing their homework. It reflects in their performances in school. Both of them are given higher challenge than their classmates in Maths and English. My daughter's reading skills is at Year 2 standard even though she is in Year 1. Kumon English definitely gives her that ability. I will recommend the center to parents who want to give their children a headstart in Maths and English. Samuel
