My son went to see Sarah for a Dyslexia assessment. Sarah was welcoming and made my son feel comfortable. Sarah is very knowledgeable and experienced. The report I was given was very detailed and I would recommend her if you’re looking for support for your child.

The on-line assessment and subsequent detailed report has been invaluable in helping secure appropriate support for my son. It has also been a real educator in terms of understanding the specific areas that my son finds challenging and in identifying solutions to support his education. Amelia has been helping me prepare for university Maths for the past year and a half. Can’t rate the team enough. Jess and Alicia are fantastic with my child and have brought together a fabulous support team in their tutors. My child has found both in centre and online to be really enjoyable, and she actually wants to do it. My son had his dyslexia assessment with Kirsty and I could not recommend her enough. She put him at ease and made him feel really comfortable through the assessment and explained things to him so he would understand. The report provided after the assessment was extremely thorough and Kirsty spent the time to walk me through it, highlighting key aspects. My son has been going to Whiteley Explore Learning for more than 2 years now and I could not speak more highly of it. A combination of SEND needs, unsuccessful home schooling during the pandemic and a need for my son to have more 121 support meant that I looked for private tutoring and was recommended Explore. At first my son was reluctant to attend, but now it's his special place and he's very happy to go. The staff are wonderful, incredibly supportive and adapt to his needs. If I find out my son is struggling with a topic at school, I let the team at Explore know and we work as a team to help improve his understanding of the topic, so that he grows in confidence and ultimately ability to tackle the topic. I particularly like the parents meetings, where I get more insight on my son's progress and abilities than I get at school's parents evenings. They can pinpoint which month of which school year your child is working at, which is so much more useful to know. Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. Armelle is a wonderful French teacher who taught my daughter for her GCSE. Within matter of few lessons Ami progressed so much. Ami felt confident in listening and writing aspect of French. All credit goes to Armelle! Armelle made lessons very interesting, encouraging Ami in her listening, writing reading. Ami enjoyed Armelle every lesson and was always looking forward to! I would highly recommend Armelle for French tutoring. She worked with my daughter weekly from the end of year 10 through to her GCSEs as she wanted help with her French Oral. A very clever and expensive private tutor for 2 years did not help him as much as Kip McGrath did. Highly recommended.
