“Came for the pancake week specials, was not disappointed. I got a steak and egg 2 stack anf my partner got a buffalo chicken 1 stack. All delicious but she was the dinner winner. We shared the veggie tots which were lush as always.”

“Me and my friend absolutely love this café. The hot chocolates are so good, especially the autumnal one that I got today. The staff are lovely, particularly Victoria who goes to extra length to make customers feel welcome. I haven't tried the food yet but it looks amazing, and there lots of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options available. Would definitely recommend 🩷”

“I absolutely LOVE this tea room!! The Old Forge provides a fantastic atmosphere, service and food and drinks! 💘 From teas to coffees and delicious hot chocolates to soft drinks. There is quite a selection of drinks to stop off and enjoy. ☕️❤️ The food, well... Exquisite!! Bacon Sandwiches or Sausage sandwiches, to a full English, to sausuage rolls, salads and toasted sandwiches. This tea room provides delicious homemade meals for breakfast and lunch. Not mention their incredible afternoon tea!! The cakes are out this world and there is quite a large selection. I love their carrot cake and recently, the Lime and Passionfruit cake. 😍 If your in the area, THIS IS A MUST visit!! Ed and Claire run this place so well with a warm, inviting presence! Highly recommend for walkers, dog owners, cyclists, motorcyclists and car enthusiasts! If you have a few of you with you, I recommend booking in advanced.”

“I had the most amazing experience here this morning, I don’t think I’ve found another place like it in Winchester. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavours, the drinks are unique with the cacaos and mushroom blends (not to mention delicious) lastly the service is on point! Its warm, relaxed atmosphere made me want to stay all day. It’s got an alternative feel to the place with all the tropical plants and vibe. I almost felt like I’d escaped the dreary UK and could have been in Costa Rica! Photos of before and after! Thank you team Røst 🫶”

“Lovely Coffee Shop one of the guys in our cycle club guided us to, after seeing good things about, so we gave it a go........it's in a very remote location but has lovely decor and a very bijoux feel about it. Staff were very upbeat and were serving quickly and efficiently. There is a large selection of coffee, cake and hot food on offer with the coffee beans baked on site called Moon Coffee which is also sold here. The "yard" area is very spacious with lovely seating around as well as outdoor heaters for the colder mornings or evenings. They are doggie friendly as saw a few on our visit and welcomed cyclists to with two very large bike racks to use.........will definitely visit again if we are out this way again!!”

“This is a MUST visit cafe when on Hayling Island. We called for a reservation for lunch as we had heard lots about this place and wanted to make sure we got in. The location is right on the marina and is AMAZING. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like family, and the food is DELICIOUS. It's served with so much presentation and love, and tastes FABULOUS. I can not recommend this cafe enough. We had heard so much about it and they DIDN'T let us down. “My first visit (10.03) for Mother's Day. I had wanted to come for ages. Daughter (18) decided upon here for taking me out for Mother's Day brunch! We were lucky to get a table! Lovely friendly welcome and every staff member - without exception - were smiling, helpful, chatty and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. My daughter is autistic and took a little while to figure out the new surroundings, menu etc. Probably as there's so much CHOICE! It couldn't be better for me as severely gluten intolerant. We started with drinks - Kinder Bueno Frappe for my daughter, Coco loco smoothie for me. Delicious 😋. Then I had gluten free Eggs Benedict (came labelled) and D had a mini egg cookie pie. I enjoyed mine immensely. I had a very good flat white and a piece of lime and coconut cake, that was so soft and moist I could hardly believe it WAS gluten free! It was a lovely lovely treat and I can't wait to come back!”

The Spinnaker Café
96 Broad St, Old Portsmouth, Portsmouth PO1 2JE, UK
Phone: 07434 727664
“Nice good ole cafe. The service isn’t something amazing, the decor is simple and sweet and the food is darn tight average but what else can you expect from such a humble little spot? There were loads of staff who catered for lots of customers that frequent the cafe. The fried bread was a stand out! The price is also super reasonable.”

The Tenth Hole
Eastern Parade, Southsea, Portsmouth PO4 9RF, UK
Phone: 023 9283 0009
“I have given 5 stars because it's always been good tasty food. However, I do see it as a treat as I found it more on the pricey side. As it's so welcoming and friendly, you can see why it's so popular. The service was a bit slow and the deserts came out first waiting 10 minutes until the lunch items came which was a shame. The highlights were the Christmas Mac n cheese, the chilli jam ultimate toastie (where do you get that jam it's incredible) and the caramel Apple pie warmed up with custard! The brownie cheesecake, the main cheesecake part dominated and the brownie chocolate taste doesn't follow through enough for our liking. We will return in 2025! I wish the tenth hole could be located in different parts of the UK so we could just pop in whenever we wanted. Lucky for those that live nearby!”
