“Amazing breakfast at Josie’s in Winchester! The place is super popular, and we had to wait for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and the food was fantastic. I had the breakfast pancakes, and they were incredible! Everything about our visit was spot on—highly recommend if you’re in the area! 🥞☕”

“Greeted with a smile. The food was perfect, and hospitality matched! I recommend trying the house blend coffee, it’s rocket fuel for the morning. Then try something from the brunch menu, it all good and everything has a unique twist on the norm. Occasionally the menu changes with the seasons, the changes are tasty, gives lots of variety for regulars.”

“A nice little cafe in the Fullflood area of Winchester. I popped in for coffee and cake, and the selection didn't disappoint. The cakes were really good quality and very tasty, and the coffee was very good too. The atmosphere is nice and it's nice sitting in the window watching the world go by. The service was very friendly and attentive, and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of what is on offer. They also had a great looking selection of salads, quiches and sausage rolls, so I'll certainly be back to try those out another time!”

Cafe Monde

“This little cafe near Winchester Cathedral surprised me. It has a few things going for it: Chilled ambience, intimate and compact settings, and prompt low-key service. I ordered the breakfast omelette - containing bacon, sausage, and tomatoes wrapped in an omlette purse. It was sumptuous and substantial, just about moist, without being soggy. Iced mocha is impeccably made. The cafe doesn't try to be fancy, just the basics made well. Love it. ❤️”

Long Barn
The Old Sheep Fair, Bishops Sutton Rd, Alresford SO24 9EJ, UK
Phone: 01962 738684
“Coffee and patisserie were excellent and the cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating and although it was quite popular we didn't have to wait long to be seated and there were plenty of tables. Staff were friendly and efficient and the prices quite reasonable. The lavender fields behind the Long Barn are free to visit and very relaxing. I guess that must be the scent from the lavender! There is free parking on site, however there don't seem to be many spaces and I imagine it's busy at the weekends. We visited mid-week and had no problems.”
