I seriously debated this review, now we have found it I'm not sure I want everyone to know about it. Without a doubt now my favourite cafe hideaway in Hampshire. The food was spot on, the coffee was the way I love it and the service was friendly and welcoming. Go here, tell some people :D

We decided to stop off at this delightful little café for a cuppa and a cake. The staff here were very friendly, polite and helpful. They quickly served are refreshments to the table and were keen to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The cakes were absolutely amazing and really delicious. Would highly recommend a visit, I am sure we'll be back when passing next.

Found this place on Google Maps after travelling home from Southampton last week. I had the Full English Breakfast, and it was great. The only issue was that it was a very hot day, so it was very warm in there, and I wondered why they didn't have the air-conditioning on 🥵

My 90 year old mum wanted to come here as one of her first times out for something to eat since the pandemic started 2 years ago. The LTS is a well decorated clean tea shop. Its upstairs so hidden away. The stairs are steep but mum managed as there was a rail. Good strong cups of tea and an excellent breakfast choice with many variations possible so it worked well for the 4 of us .Prices are good and so exceptional value especially as the breakfast was good.

Just back from a lovely visit here. 2 breakfasts, tea, 2 cake and an Oreo milk shake all for £28. Great service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Happy Sunday! Edit! My wife told me I must tell you about the bubble and squeak! She added it to her breakfast and enjoyed every bit! We will be back!

Can't believe I didn't know about this place! Fantastic friendly service, lots of menu choices. Food was hot and delicious, with plenty of it too excellent value for money. Definitely will be going back.

Lovely tearoom, with friendly staff. Food was really good and there was plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices too. The table on the far side is on the uneven part of the floor which gives a strange dizzy feel (similar to the upside down house we recently visited! 😅), so we asked to be moved, which they kindly did.

We stayed in a big group; 5 couples with kids aged 6-9 (19 people). Micklemersh farm was great, lots for the kids to see, accommodation was so much better than expected. Staying in Monarchs view, Bluebells, Foxglove, Shephard Huts and Archers Retreat. I would certainly stay in Monarchs View again, loads of space and acted as the communal house with space downstairs for that many people. The games room was ‘rustic’ but the kids loved it. It is a working farm so can be a bit noisy, and you so you can’t be completely hands off holiday parenting. All round highly recommend.

This place was so wonderful I did not want to go home! Family of 4 (including 2 and 5 year old) we stayed in the shepherd's huts for 2 nights which were so cute and cosy. Lovely attention to detail to make it homely from the decor, cute matching crockery, fluffy towels. It had everything we needed for 'glamping'; bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, kitchen that includes microwave, 2 ring hob, toaster, kettle all utensils, pans etc. 2 very comfortable double beds, dresser and telly. I would have really liked wi fi if I'm being picky so we could have watched a film later on in the evening. Oh and maybe a plug socket nearer to the dresser but not a big deal. Outside was a large woodburner and table with chairs, we loved eating our tea out here with the fire going and watching the cows in the field. Sky was so clear could see many constellations. Oh I forgot to mention fab sunset and full moon. There were a couple of good walks to the local pubs through beautiful countryside but was a bit too far with very young kids we just did a small bit of the walk. Each morning we went straight to the barn to play with Mini the pet baby goat she's so lovely and friendly. You can also see all the baby cows, turkeys, hens... Most of the cows here were dairy cows they have a really huge area over a few fields to roam and enjoy life. The shepherd's hut is close to main farmhouse and yard, was not disturbed at all by other guests and it actually made life very easy whilst still being in the field. One of the days we went to nearby Paultons theme park which was great. I would definitely stay here again, maybe in spring to see the lambs or when there's piglets as well. Would love it if they had a little farm stall selling the milk, eggs etc for guests. The nearest shop was an 8 minute drive so not ridiculous. There was a very good chippy near said shop too. I really hope to stay here again very soon, was such a massive change I've never been glamping before and found it the perfect antidote from the rat race of home. Thankyou so much for the hospitality.

We stayed in Bluebells Cottage at the end of May for 3 nights and we'd happily recommend it. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped and our children loved being on the farm and helping Fran to feed the animals each day. The location was accessible and easy to find as well.

Have known the owners both privately and professionally for many years, Carrying out various activities and agricultural contracting during harvest preparation and storage of crops, silage, hay and straw. Lovely quiet place to stay with fantastic views and plenty of things to do from walks along the river to country pub dining nearby.

Food was defiantly worth the wait and came out nice and quickly. Tables near the door are very drafty and cold when it’s a windy day and after a 45 minute wait it’s not ideal. Service overall was good just felt there could have been a few more smiles and happy chatty faces.

Lovely place to stay and have breakfast or lunch. 🥪 staff is very friendly. They also have outside area so you can go with your dog as well.Plus Romsey is beautiful area so you can have a nice walk too. 😊

Food is always worth the wait to get in. You cannot book a table here so it's first come first served from what I can gather. The food is amazing here. The Christmas Turkey burger was so tasty and well worth getting as a limited time menu item! Brilliant service and attentive staff made for a great experience with such a large table of people. We didn't have a reduction in quality of service as a result of the larger group size.

Another great venue in Romsey. If you want an evening meal, go to The Old House at Home. If you want breakfast, come here. Such an epic menu. You've got your classics, you've got your sweet breakfasts and you've got your American breakfasts. For me, it had to be a milkshake and chicken and pancakes...which was very good, almost as good as the real thing in Kansas City. Staff were super friendly, and the prices were good too!

I just wanted to say thank you to Lynette from the Chandlers Ford branch who was helping out the day that I was in Josies Romsey. She was so kind to me. She helped me secure the table at the window, and was altogether a lovely waitress. I was very impressed. And even though it was busy inside, she still took the time to do whatever she could to accommodate me and the cheese free meal that I wanted. At the end of the day, it is all about care and kindness combined with efficiency. Thank you Lynnette.

I absolutely love this! The food is amazing, the breakfast is always piping hot and it is such great value. I go here a bit more than I probably should as the waistline isn’t very happy at the moment. The staff are friendly and love dogs. It’s so dog friendly which is great. Well done team!

My daughter and i visited this charming cafe which had been recommended by my parents and we were not disappointed. Daughter is vegan and ordered a breakfast minus eggs and it came with a huge pile of avocado to replace the egg which was a nice surprise. Both our meals consisted of good quality ingredients and of generous proportions which were cooked to perfection.The waitress was super friendly and the meals were a very reasonable price we shall be recommending to friends and family.

Friendly and welcoming cafe. Notable points are the coffee is not scolded and served at the correct temperature, and finally a place that serves proper French fries! We took cake away with us as well. Would definitely recommend for a warm welcome and food, done well.

Found this lovely little cafe in romsey with the most well presented breakfast I’ve ever seen. And I’ve eaten a lot of breakfast this is by far the best and with a latte and orange juice for all under £10 amazing price. The lady and gentleman that greeted me were so lovely and kind would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. I’ll certainly be coming back.

This place is so beautiful. It has some incredible snacks and drinks and they obviously use quality ingredients. The staff are wonderful and they also sell a lovely range of gifts and cards. I’ll definitely be visiting again. So that you’re not disappointed be aware that although it doesn’t look very big there is a lot of seating at the back and upstairs.

Great breakfast bagels, with gooey egg and chilli jam. Still the best coffee in Romsey, and a lovely new outdoor garden now too, to sit down, relax and enjoy it in too. Can even have a cider, ale, cocktail or wine if you fancy too. Sit in or out, have an ice cream, peruse the plants and shop, and of course a chat with the super friendly staff. Oh, and did i mention the escape room upstairs?! 🤣 Wowza 😀

My partner and I have visited the store a few times but today was the first time we stopped and had hot chocolate and cake. It was all delicious! The shop has so many beautiful things in, and it all feels very calm. I have to be disciplined because I want nearly all of it! The best thing, though, are the people that work there. They are wonderful! We'll be back again (and again ... )

Visit Fig and Fox most days for my iced coffee. Staff are so friendly and all seem enthusiastic about where they work. The shop is filled with nice gifts, the wax melts are especially my favourite, gorgeous smells! 🙂🧋

Absolutely lovely little place! The menu is fully vegetarian with a generous selection of vegan items. Allergens were clearly listed as well. :) There's a fab selection of both savoury and sweet goods; the sweet goods in particular are very generously portioned! The cafe is dog friendly and the staff were absolutely lovely. Will be going again!

A cute but very small tearooms. Would definitely recommend booking a table. We sat upstairs (very steep stairs) The staff were friendly. We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious (they catered for our needs on the sandwiches) the scones were massive and yummy! We couldn't eat the cake as stuffed so that came home with us! Loved the way things were served in teacups Will definitely be back again

We found this place and managed to find a table, of you was thinking of coming here it would be advisable to book ahead as it gets busy. The menu was well set out and the pricing was reasonable, service was polite and the place itself was inviting and clean. Or sandwiches was nicely presented and was nice and tasty. I couldn't find much to fault beside the bowl of chips was actually a little small bowl of chips, but beside this I wouldn't have a problem in recommending this place to anyone visiting..

A beautiful deli and cafe. Relatively quiet when we entered for a morning cuppa but very busy by the time we left. The deli counters were being filled whilst we were there so didn’t get to see them full of delights but what we did see looked lovely. The waitress cleverly left a menu on our table after she had served our beverages and we were drawn into ordering breakfast. Poached eggs for him and avocado on toast for me. Very well presented and delicious. The waitresses were very good at their jobs, quietly attentive and aware of up and coming customers requirements. Lovely venue, lovely food and staff.

We came on a Monday lunchtime and it was very busy, great atmosphere but a little noisy for my grandma! Food was delicious and service was great, had to wait a little to order but only because they were so busy! Our waitress gave me a recommendation for what to order and it was delicious. Would definitely come back.

Found this place by chance after camping in the New Forest for the weekend. 100% recommend, a great menu and yummy food. I had the chicken and waffles and it came with a generous helping of maple syrup. The only thing I would change is serving the syrup on the side. I also had one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and were given treats by the staff. Thank you so much for a lovely breakfast!

Great brunch place, excellent coffee and all the food is sourced locally which I love! The boot room is especially cosy for coffee and cake on a cold miserable day with its nice fireplace. Only downside (which isn't their fault) is it gets very busy at weekends so do book on advance to avoid disappointment as this has happened a couple times to us.

Went on a Monday and got the vegan full Kimbridge - it was lush! The only “criticism” is that I’d have liked 1 more hash brown because they were perfection and there was waaaaay too much butter lol. But we will definitely be going back. The courgette fritters were fried to perfection. Great atmosphere, lovely location and the staff were very accommodating!

I was treated to an afternoon tea at Kimbridge Barn by a wonderful friend in March 2024. What an experience. We were seated in the window in the sunshine. Staff could not be more attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The scones were huge - the size of a large mango - but beautifully soft & delicious and served warm. The sandwiches were scrummy, the ham hock mayo my favourite. The sunshine melted the sour cherry chocolate bar as we weren’t paying attention! It too tasted wonderful. Will definitely come back when the weather warms up. The package included unlimited teas and americano coffee. Would have been nice to include one special coffee like a latte for the price, but small niggle.

Saturday I had Chicken snitzel and my wife had the Haddock we both enjoyed the food. We returned on Sunday I had the Bacon belly and my wife had the scallops we both enjoyed so much so that I said complements to the Chef. Wonderful food. Good atmosphere and a craft shop too.
